Too Small!
I was very disappointed in this shoe--at least one size too small. I usually am a true size 11 and was baffled by this problem. I haven't tried Trotters in a long time and I'll be reluctant to again without fitting them first.

I wear these shoes until they completely wear out. I buy them in every color they come in and walk not only around a courtroom (I'm a lawyer) but wear them to sporting events and just around town. Needem in My Closet -
This is about the 7th pair of Trotters Liz that I've had now. Counting the ones that I've worn out completely. They dress up or down, fit and wear well, and continue to please me. I'm ready for them to be made in "exotic" colors as well as the nice neutrals Trotters provides.

I have looked for years for a good place to find casual narrow shoes. I just ordered this shoe in a 7.5 slim (3A). Smart but comfy -
I was looking for a pair of shoes to replace my 3rd pair of Naturalizer loafers that have gone out of production. Something comfortable but "smart" looking so that they would be worn with slacks, jeans and skirts when sneakers and heels wouldn't do. These fill the bill.

I have only worn these around the house so far. They seem comfortable and I like the look that can be casual or more dressy. Not too many shoes made in 11 1/2. I don’t need the full size 12 which are more readily available.

Love the look. Wish it also came in black.
Very comfortable. Only complaint is that the left shoe is not cut straight. By that I mean that the front half of the shoe angles off to the left, while the rear half stays straight ahead giving it a slight boomerang look.

Cool, comfy summer casual walking shoe -
These require a little breaking in, but not too much as they are woven leather and do have some give. They are a cool and comfortable shoe, and look good with pants or skirt for warmer temperatures. They do have a thin sole and not a great amount of arch support, but still can be worn for long periods without having aching feet. For the price, a nice shoe. I liked them well enough to purchase 2 more pairs after my first pair.

I just love this shoe. It is stylish, yet extremely comfortable. I have one in each color. Very different from an ordinary flat shoe and you can wear it for work or with a pair of jeans.

Great shoes -
These shoes are exactly what I needed after I reluctantly had to throw away my old Aigner flats because they were completely worn out after years of wear. These are a perfect replacement, so much so that I'm considering purchasing the same pair in other colors. They are good looking, easy to slip on and off (great for airport security lines) and comfortable. What more could you ask for a casual shoe?

Shape stretches -
I usually love Trotters. This is, at the outset a good looking shoe but it stretches and does not hold its shape. I use shoe trees but as soon as they are taken out, the weave relaxes and begins to look sloppy. As it loosened so did the support.

Very pleased!
I ordered the Trotters to take on a trip with me. I was so amazed that I could order one day and receive the very next day. I wear a size that hardly anyone in the retail stores carries anymore, so I must rely on mail order or on-line. I have told everyone about the great service and plan to order from Zappos again. The shoes were expensive; but with free overnight shipping and no tax, I think it all equals out. I didn't have to drive all over hoping I would find something suitable in my size. I've done that before to no avail. Thanks for the great service.

I like Trotter shoes!
Because of the way my foot is built, Trotters is one of the few brands of shoes that fits without irritation to the front part of the foot. It would be great if the shoe could be made with a narrow, medium, or wide heel part. That is how I bought my shoes previously. The Liz style shoe that I wore for my son's wedding was a size narrow in the foot, but no size in the heel. I was wearing this pair for about 6 hrs. and it definitely was too tight. It left a bruise to the big toe. This new pair should be the correct fit other than that the heel will be a little too loose. To be honest, I haven't as yet had an opportunity to wear these shoes. My Trotters...
I've been wearing "Trotters" since they were Old Maine Trotters - love their selection of colors (I have 5 of them!) and it's a bonus for me that they offer 1/2 sizes in the larger ones. I do wish the front or toe of the shoe wasn't quite so 'pointy'. I'd love for them to make the old penny loafer. Trotters Liz is dressier though, and a true "flat" - less than an inch, which is what I wanted.

Like the shoe, but....
I like the looks of this shoe; it looks great with jeans, slacks, and skirts. However, it stretches and is a bit difficult to keep on my foot now. I guess I'll have to wear thicker and thicker socks. My normal size is 9 1/2 AA and the length is fine, but the width stretches. I have several other Trotters, love the brand, and this will not stop me from buying Trotters again.

A slight problem -
I have a number of Trotters. I like the style, the price is OK. Just one slight problem. The inside lining seam near the little toe comes undone. When putting the shoe on the little toe catches this loose material and at times 'rolls it up'. This can cause some discomfort by the end of the day. I have had to cur material away with an xacto knife for comfort when this happens.

Doesn't last -
I loved this shoe when I first bought it. It looked nice with pants and fit right out of the box. No breaking in period. However, the weave became so loose you could see my little toe out the side. The leather began to look frayed on the edges. Not a comfortable shoe for lots of walking. My feet were tired after a day of wearing these on cement floors.
