I ordered a pair of mens size 10 for myself and Zappos sent the womens size 10. I gave them to my wife and she loves them. She wears them almost every day while at home.

I bought this 1 year ago (Sept '08). They are very comfortable, but if you don't wear a sock your feet stick to the inside of them. I bought them with the hopes I could just slip my feet in them and be good to go. I do like them, I just wish you could wear them without socks and not have your feet sweat or stick to them. By the way, I have never experienced sweaty feet, until I wore these, not even in boots.

I like to wear slippers or moccasins around the house, but have been unable to find any mocs in the stores. I am delighted that Zappos could come to my rescue! These moccasins are very comfortable, well made, and stretch out to conform to your foot. I like the deerskin because it is soft and supple, and with the double sole, it lasts longer. If you have worn moccasins before, you'll be very pleased-I am.

Just one thing...
Everything about this shoe is awesome, except one thing, and I am surprised no one else has mentioned it in the reviews... The lacing that terminates in a knot on the (inside) lateral side of both shoes is very hard and therefore painful. I am using folded paper toweling between the knots and my feet until I can find some leather to glue over the knots.

I purchased these in the beginning of December. I really like them. I agree I wish they were in a different color but this color isn't bad.
They are not good to wear barefoot. But with a light sock they are great.

Indoor comfort -
I bought this product because I have many friends and family members who have shoeless homes, and I needed something to wear indoors besides bedroom slippers. My feet get cold on bare floors. This shoe was true to the size marked, and is very comfortable. It soon forms to one's foot and becomes even more comfortable.

Comfy - I bought these because I was having some tendinitis problems and nightly cramps in my feet if I wore Crocs (and other heel-less shoes) or anything that requires muscle tension to stay on. These are great! It is like being barefoot. My feet feel free, they don't hurt my heel, and I think I am strengthening my feet by allowing my muscles to react naturally. The leather is soft and molds to my feet. I keep them at work, so I don't wear them outside at all. I may get a pair for home when it gets too cold to go barefoot. Plus, they look really nice with pants, jeans or skirts. I only wish they came in another color or two.

So comfy, my husband stole them -
I ordered the Minnetonka Thunderbird Softsole and the Double Deerskin Softsole because I couldn't decide which one was the "perfect" pair.
The Double Deerskins are by far the most comfortable slippers I've ever put on my feet. They are fully lined with deerskin over a cushy foam core making them slightly more comfortable than the Thunderbird Softsole. They are lighter in color and I imagine will show more stains over time than the darker Thunderbirds. As I contemplated which pair to keep, my husband slipped on the Double Deerskins and refused to take them off. He normally does not wear slippers, but said they felt like going barefoot. Luckily for us, we wear the same size shoe, so I didn't need to send either pair back, but if I had needed to return them, I know Zappos makes it painlessly easy.

Talk about great comfort!!! They’re sturdy, comfort is great. Only thing I don’t care for is they don’t last forever, but then nothing does. Almost feels like you’re barefoot, but ya stay clean.

Deer Slipper best for Deer feet -
This shoe does not “give”, but very little; even loosening the tie and working back toward the heel does no good. I was quite disappointed in the shoe after a week or two. Wearing it without a sock causes the leather to stick firmly to the skin.

These are very well made slippers, and I do consider them house shoes. I have gone outside to get the paper but really want them to stay clean for the house. Gloriously soft and mold to you feet. You do not want to take them off!

2nd pair fit great -
I love these slippers, so comfy. BUT - the first pair had a significant size difference between the 2 shoes. The 2nd pair I ordered were just fine.

Better Than Barefoot!
This is my second pair of this slipper! The double deer skin interior feels delicious & the construction even allows room for a sock if so desired. Not much for support, but the way they feel will make one not care. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic house slipper that will take them to the mailbox & back.

Very nice mocs for inside the house in winter when I do wear something on my feet for warmth.

Excellent moc -
Soft, pliable, very nice looking and lady-like slipper one can wear out to the woodshed or to the mailbox at the end of the lane. Reasonably thick sole allows short outdoor errands. Quiet and warm indoors. Feels like you're walking barefoot.

Minnetonka and comfort -
I love casual slip on shoes to wear around the house so these are perfect for me. I love the soft buttery leather, and the fact that it is perfect for warmer weather. My other slip on slippers all have the fur inside which makes them too warm for me in florida this time of year. These are perfect, very comfortable, and a shoe that I would definitely recommend.

I wear a size 9 1/2, and they only come in whole sizes. I ordered a size 9 because I was afraid that they would stretch out and become too sloppy if I ordered a size 10. The length worked out, but they felt much too narrow at first. I stuck it out for few days, and they have stretched to fit. They are very comfortable now.

The best year-round slipper out there.
These slippers are the best! I just bought a replacement for the pair that wore out after two years (of constant wear every day on hardwood floors). The feel is as soft as butter, the seamless construction all around the soles of your feet makes these incredibly comfortable, like a second skin, and the breathable leather feels good all year round. Do buy your usual size, as they feel very snug at first and stretch to conform to your feet after a day or two. By the way, Zappos is great: they upgraded me to overnight shipping for free, and these slippers were on my doorstep before I knew it. Thanks Zappos!
