 |  |  | First of all, I'd like to thank Zappos and their "team" for the wonderful surprise of upgrading my shipping from 4-5 days to overnight!! These boots are very comfortable, lightweight, and supportive. I just don't buy boots or shoes for "looks"; they need to work for me. Let me explain. I'm a disabled Viet-Nam Veteran, with a severe case of bi-lateral foot drop. I need to have a boot that provides ankle support, yet still have a measure of flexibility for comfort. Unlike the leg braces issued to me by the VA which totally immobilize my ankles, it makes it darn near impossible to walk on uneven ground, and are quite uncomfortable [hot] in the warmer seasons.
