Good molded base with a nice arch support. If your foot is a little wide, your foot tends to slide to the back of the shoe.

This shoe was a little uncomfortable in the beginning, however, once the leather loosened up, they were very nice. When new, the new white leather can actually be nearly blinding in bright sunlight.

Good Shoe, Terrible Squeak!
This is a great shoe to wear! Very comfortable, tough, and dependable. Decent arch support. Good look to it as well, but after about 1 month of wear, both shoes developed an AWFUL squeak in the toes that I cannot pinpoint. It is really annoying and I am hoping that one of these days I will be able to fix it.

My feet are in heaven -
Purchased the white w/navy at the back and stitched on the tongue; I've been looking forever for plain white sneakers, and these are perfect. I could sleep in them. My feet are on the narrow side, and the medium width is fine (as most are, yet I suspect some people are in denial about the width of their feet--my co-worker's feet are quite wide yet she buys "medium" width shoes and suffers until they get stretched out). These shoes were a dream on my feet from the moment I put them on.

Buy half a size larger. It fits very tight and the velcro does not allow much adjustment. I can tell it will take a while to break it in. It looks better in picture, not so much in actuality.

A great shoe with a bright blue color -
The shoe is beautiful and comfortable. I didn't at first expect the bright blue color, but I loved it afterwards. At work I did receive a few compliments from co-workers. Overall a great shoe.

These are (as everyone else attests) an awesome trainer. I was pretty surprised how comfy they were as I'd tried on a pair of my mates a few years ago and they felt horrible. The worst part though is that the nylon mesh fabric has become soaked with disco fudge and they just look really patchy and dirty.

Very solid shoe -
Very cool shoe in green. Lots of compliments. More comfortable than I thought they would be. They have held up well for over a year, including several rounds in the washing machine. Highly recommend.

Love these shoes -
I was looking for something stylish and comfortable. I loved these sneakers when I wore them in high school and thought I would try them again. I was not disappointed!! Great look and feel. And they had plenty of room to accommodate my orthotics. I didn't notice the smell other reviewers complained of, but the tongue does squeak against the laces when I walk. A small annoyance that is greatly outweighed by the many plusses of this shoe.

I love my cute blue sneakers -
I have the bright blue ones. They're very striking and I’ve gotten lots of compliments. They were slightly big, but I got a sole insert and now they're fine. The sole was a little thin anyway, so that fixed both points. The arch support is great. I can walk or dance for hrs in them and they're still comfy (and cute!).

Great Look, Terrible Fit -
These shoes are some of the best looking shoes around. The only problem is they are soooo narrow across the toe area. When you first put them on they don't feel too bad but after a while they really start to hurt your feet. I found myself taking them off all the time.
Unfortunately, they are marked so I can't return them. There goes 60 bucks! I ordered a size larger but haven't received them yet so stay tuned. Why are all the good looking shoes the most uncomfortable?

What did Adidas do to make these smell?
I've been wearing Gazelles for well over 10 years. I must have had 5 or 6 pairs of them over the years. They've always been trustworthy shoes that last a long time. When I bought my last pair in April of 2008 however, I realized that Adidas has done something to them to make them smell bad. I'm not sure what's going on over at Adidas but they've either gotten some defective materials, or they've changed the materials, or something, because they now smell like dead animals.
Adidas actually stopped widely producing this shoe a few years ago. They came out with the "Gazelle 2" which had flashy colors and whatnot. I was glad to see the old trusty black and white version back out, but now they smell. I ordered two pairs from Zappos and one pair directly from Adidas and they all had the same problem. I am positive that this is a new issue because none of the other pairs I've owned over the past 10 years have smelled anything like this, brand new or otherwise.
In the nature of full disclosure, I didn't keep mine long enough to find out whether the smell wears off after a month or two. I can tell you that when I put them in the closet they smelled up the whole closet. I could also smell them when I was sitting on the couch or driving. It was just too much for me. There was no sign that they were getting better after several weeks so I returned them. Maybe I should have waited longer.
Anyway, this may be one of the best models of shoes ever made but I'm not going to get anymore until Adidas fixes this smell issue. Why they keep trying to mess with perfection is beyond me.

Really like the way out sole design on these sneaks with the sole extension right up the back of the heel. I wear dark/blck socks with mine - go great with jeans or sweats. Real comfortable and wear well.

Good looking casual shoe, that's about it.
Very stiff shoe, even after a month of breaking them in. The tongue is stiff as well and shorter than most shoes I've worn. It can be somewhat irritating with low-cut socks. I bought these shoes just for casual wear; it's definitely not much of a running shoe.

I normally have a problem with Adidas Originals being too tight in the toe. These are still fairly narrow shoes, but because they're made out of a softer leather, it was much less of a problem.

I am an absolute fan of Zappos. I was told of this company by a friend and Zappos has definitely not let me down. The shoes I ordered are in perfect condition and the shipping was the fastest I have ever seen. I work as a real estate agent so customer service is what I do and I will not buy shoes from any store again. The prices are very reasonable as well. Great job Zappos!!

A Dream Come True -
I love my new Adidas Original Adilette sandals! The comfort is so amazing. I thought that by me having such large feet (size 18), I didn't think that I would ever find any sandals/slides in my size, and if I did, they would probably be very uncomfortable, but I was so wrong. The support that they offer is amazing and the color that I have (black and white) goes with anything that I am wearing. I've even received a lot of compliments at school. Thank you Zappos, these sandals are a dream come true, and I love them!

Grab em' while you can...
I usually wear a size 12 but I took a chance on a size 11 just because I had to have these sneakers. I just received them and they fit well without sox. I could have used a 1/2 size bigger but I'll live with it. They look incredible. Don’t hesitate!

I dig these shoes, they go with any look whether you’re going down the street to do your laundry or are attending your best friends wedding, these shoes just scream "any occasion", note that these shoes don't actually scream (at least not for the first few weeks).
There is a smell issue, yes, this shoe does smell like fish, but I own cats so if anything these shoes have increased my popularity with the cats.
