Elbow pads don't fit -
The knee and hand pads work fine, but I can barely keep the elbow pads on. I'm not anorexic, but am at the low end of the height/weight chart. I'm going to have to buy something else for my elbows.

Excellent kids (girls) skate -
These skates replaced my daughter's trainer skates and what a difference they made. My daughter is more comfortable and confident on these skates. The skates appear to be well constructed and should last a long time, though wheels and the brake will always need to be replaced.

Rollerblades looked great. Comfort and padding excellent, except I like to wear heavy duty socks when skating and these felt a little bit snug. I returned them for a half size larger. Also the service I received in returning was excellent. Zappos credited my account and was willing to send a new pair of skates before I returned the ones I had. Thanks Zappos.

I bought these blades last July (2007) after having excellent success with my first Rollerblades. Unfortunately, they hurt my feet every time I would try to wear them. I can push on my old blades for an hour without stopping. With these I have to stop in less than 10 minutes - my feet get too sore and tired. I don't know why there is such a big difference. I have tried having the skates adjusted, rotating the wheels, adding insoles, adding heel pads, and replacing the wheels (nothing helped).

I skate approx. 5+ hours a week. This boot makes my foot raw just above the ankle the size of a quarter. I've tried extra padding, etc. etc. It simply is a poor design. I wiped out at high speed and the buckle broke off so I am hoping the updated model (Speedmachine 6.0) has solved the problem.

These rollerblades are very comfortable and they are lined very plush. My feet don't get hot riding because of the air flow so I can be out for hours. The look is very chic and overall I am happy. Thanks Zappos.

Bought these on a recommendation. They are for my husband. He says they are the most comfortable rollerblades he's ever worn and loves how smooth they are. We recommend them. They fit true to size also.

I bought these for my son who is five and just learning to ice-skate so he can continue to skate during the summer. He absolutely loves these Rollerblades and says that they are really comfortable. Too small and uncomfortable -
Even though these pads were size "large" and I'm not that large of a person, they felt awfully small on me. They do not give that much protection. Furthermore, the hard plastic that goes between the thumb and forefinger on the wrist pads is uncomfortable. I would have returned these pads to Zappos, but I did use them once and I put a minor scratch in one of the wrist pads at the end of my skate when I brushed a piece of granite. So I'm going to attempt to sell them locally.

Worth Every Penny!
I'm 27 years old, and it’s been about 7 years since I was last on a pair of inline skates. I loved it growing up so I looked around and purchased the Crossfire II 4D's. AMAZING! It’s easy ratcheting buckle is one of the greatest features. They are a high quality and comfortable skate and the ride is very smooth. The first day I got them I went blading for 3 miles and felt fantastic.

A replacement for an ancient pair, of rollerblades-
Have only used them twice. But, once compared with a few other models (& brands)...they seem to fit the bill. The speed type models are intriguing, but wouldn't cut it for any in town blading (less supportive at ankle).

These fit great/true to size. They look great. The only problem I find is that I they keep loosening up. I found that I had to keep tightening them as I went. I also was a user of the previous ABT braking system, which I like much better. I purchased the men's Rollerblade Astro ABT (women's version was unavailable in my size) and they are much better and cheaper.

Wheel durability -
I bought these rollerblades about a year ago. They worked very well at first, but the wheels only lasted about a year before giving way. I tried to replace the wheels, but that only severely diminished the performance of the blades. So this year I am going with a different brand.

Care & Beating of Crossfire 90 -
This is for the guy with boot fit probs. My Crossfires were better than most skates for comfort, but still hurt some. I do allot of trails, & did not beat the rain a couple of times; try getting them wet & skating. (bearings hate getting wet, so rain is a poor choice). Now the skates fit super comfortable. Also use some duct tape & micro foam on your feet if there is a prob. area. I do my arches. Closure has lasted 1300 mi & counting. You can soak the stock bearings in turbine oil with good results even though you can't open them up. I am lusting after the Crossfire w/100mm wheels. Oh yea.

Slalom/Freestyle skate -
I ordered this skate after trying the K2 Soul 7. I am a size US12/Euro46 and the K2 was putting a lot of uncomfortable pressure on the bones at the front of my foot inducing foot cramps (it was too narrow in the forefoot). I ordered this skate in size US12.5 and it fits my foot perfectly.
Problems: The third wheel on both skates has a serious "wobble" as if the frames don't hold those wheels correctly. I didn't notice it at first, only after I was skating down a hill and picking up some speed. When trying to figure out what was wrong, I realized there was considerable side to side play on the above mentioned wheels. Hopefully this will be covered by warranty. The cuff buckles are also loose fitting and don't seem very sturdy, although no problems yet.
Overall, if I can get the frame/wheels issue resolved, I would be happy with them. If I have to buy new frames, it will not have been a good purchase decision.

I ordered the Astro 8 Rollerblade and couldn't find them in a store locally. I've never ordered shoes or skates without trying them on first but I'm glad I finally did. I received my order the next day just as promised, the skates look as good as they did online and they fit great! I was very satisfied with Zappos and would recommend them to anyone.

Quick and easy mount and dismount for the college student -
I used to play roller hockey so I've always had hockey inline skates. Ever since I've gotten into college, I noticed that it was taking me forever to tie and untie my skates. These are so easy to put on and take off with the quick pull lace system. They are very comfortable too. The only thing is that the strap can be really uncomfortable if you tighten it too much. If you’re used to riding a hockey skate, you have to get used to the break in the back. Also, they’re not hi-low so it will just take a little getting used to. I tried mine on in a store before I bought them so I knew I had the right size. This is how sizing goes. Measure your foot on one of those things they have in a shoe store. Don't go off of your shoes. I wear 12 mens in shoes and I have 10.5 skates. If you do go off of your shoes, use my sizing as a ratio. 1.5 smaller than shoes or (more accurately) .5 smaller than the exact measurement of your foot. By the way, Zappos absolutely has great service. I had them overnighted for free and got them the next day!

Love my Rollerblades!
I first saw this skate on a girl on the boardwalk here in Huntington Beach, CA. She was gliding with such ease so I asked her what brand skate she wore and she said they were by Rollerblade, said they were a great skate and very comfortable. She skates at least three days a week around 8-10 miles. So, I went online to Zappos and ordered. She was right, such a nice skate, nice fit, very comfortable, a great performance skate, great mechanism that tightens the laces by pulling on a lever and another to tighten around your ankles. Very quick and easy. It looks intimidating, but I found it to be very easy, just a push of a button and a pull on a lever and the skates tighten. I love these skates!! I have had many pairs of inline skates in the past, but never a pair that was as comfortable as these. And Zappos.com was great as I returned two pairs because I just couldn't seem to get the size right and turned out I should have just ordered my shoe size…unlike most skates, these run very true to size. I highly recommend this skate to anyone looking for a comfortable, performance skate.

These are great skates. The fit very well and can be adjusted to fit very snuggly over the ankle area, which is very important for stabilization. The wheels turn smoothly, too.

Great Skates -
My daughter had grown out of her quad roller skates, and it was time to replace them. I encouraged her to try inlines because I like that the inline skates are adjustable through 4 sizes. Her brother has this exact style which he got several years ago (but boys colors), and he learned very quickly to skate in an indoor rink. I took her to a sporting goods store so she could try them on and decide if inline was the way to go. She liked them, but I was unimpressed with the quality of the lower-grade inlines so we went home and found exactly what I wanted here on Zappos. These Mico 500's are very cool looking, but more importantly, they are easy to get on and off. It was a must for me NOT to have laces that could come undone on the rink floor. These have the bungee-type closure, in addition to the angled strap. They offer excellent ankle support, but yet aren't overly stiff because of the combination of the soft and hard boot. You can pick up a decent pair of roller blades for about $40, but if you want comfort and quality rolled up into one, I'd go with these. A child with aching feet is not a happy child. :)

These are superior quality. My daughter had really cheap skates before these ones. She got them for Christmas and in roughly two weeks she can now stop going down hills and make really great turns. Her confidence went way up and now she wants to rollerblade all the time, I can't get her out of them!
Some features that we love are that the lace ups have a slide and pull system to get them nice and tight. They also have lots of padding inside for comfort. Lastly, we love that they can adjust from size 2 to 5!!!
I would highly recommend them!

Great skates!
I got these for my boyfriend after he kept lamenting how he didn't want to replace his old skates because he loved that the old ones only had clip closures, no laces. He chose these and loved them! They give great support even though he has really wide feet. The wheels are really big too, which gives more speed and comfort.
