Dear Zappos - I felt compelled to write to you to tell you how much I admire that way you do business. My husband and I owned and operated our own business for over 25 years. We had 72 employees and over 250 outside sales reps and generated $50 millin in sales. We too concentrated on customer service which in turn provided valued customer loyalty. So I have some understanding of what you face on a daily basis. This was my first order with Zappos. I found your site quick and easy to navigate. I placed my order on a Friday and had the shoes on Monday. I tried them on on Tuesday and the right shoe made a funny sound when I walked - like air coming out. I tried walking back and forth on my living room rug but it didn't go away. I called your Customer Service Dept. and explained the situation and immediately a return label was emailed to me and a new pair was overnnighted. How easy was that! And the person who I dealt with (who's name I unfortunately don't have) was totally professional and friendly. Now today I received a hand written thank you note from the CS rep. You can be sure that I will continue to order shoes from you and have spread the news about Zappos to all my friends! Kudos to you!
