Pretty shoes -
Came quickly and better than the picture. Rich deep red and as comfortable as a pointy toe shoe can be. C'mon, nothing can make cramming your toes into that point feel good but I was on my feet for most of the event I wore these to and they were great.

Very comfortable and trendy look. I wear a wide width and this felt true to size and was a real wide width. Wedge heel is comfortable. Fabric "gives" so good boot for those whose feet may swell after a long walk in NYC.

My daughter’s perfect boot -
My daughter wanted black heel boots. She's nine and I wanted a boot that was not too expensive, too high heeled or cheap looking. This boots is just perfect. She wears them every day, her feet do not get clammy, lots of toe room and the heel is perfect.

This shoe is very comfortable and works well for the office or weekends. I have this shoe in three colors, red patent, black patent, and brown leather. The brown leather is especially nice for weekend wear. The only drawback I had, and that is because I have long toes, is the front was a little tight, but all in all a very comfortable shoe.

These boots look great in the box, but don't fit so great. I have wide, flat feet, and larger calves. There was quite a bit of room around the top of the boot, but the worst part was that there was zero arch support. In fact, the design of the boot caused my foot to pronate inward.

Run wide but so cute -
I really like the look of these, but they're a little stiff to walk in and my foot swam in them, so they had to go back. They had definite potential as they were comfy and had great traction. But they were just too wide; I could move my foot all around. So it makes sense that someone else commented that they're good for wide feet-- I guess that's true!

I just can't win!
I LOOOVED the look of this shoe, but the 7 Wide was too small. So... I tried the 7.5 Wide. NO JOY!! That one was too big! I wish there was a 7 1/4... LOL! That would fit me perfect!

Great value -
I have a very hard to fit foot (extra wide, bunions, hammertoes, etc.) and this boot feels very comfortable. It looks stylish and also as if it could stand up to winter weather. As I would be forced to pay almost any price to get a good-fitting boot (I walk a lot!), I am delighted at the modest price of this pair.

OK - in/for a pinch -
I was looking for an inexpensive travel shoe and could not find locally. Zappos to the rescue! (As always) These shoes look nice and are fairly comfortable (needed wide width for a bad bunion!) and they work for that purpose. However, I'm finding the sling-back strap is stretching out too fast. I'm concerned that I'll have to take them to a cobbler sooner than later. Oh well, I was in a pinch and they worked. Plus, Zappos is the best - overnight shipping!! Woo-hoo!

Great short boot -
I love the look of the Ballad. The style runs large, I normally wear an 8.5w comfortably, but I had to exchange for an 8w. The style is roomy, especially around the ankle. If you have slimmer ankles, this may not be the right boot for you. Overall the shoe is comfortable, but I did put an insert in for a little bit more padding.

I'm not sure why these are comfortable for everyone else but the leather is stiff and the top of the shoe dug into my foot. I wish they worked because I agree they are cuter in person than online.

Comfy Stylish Boot -
I have a wide foot and arthritis in the metatarsal region, so was thrilled to find this boot could be ordered in wide. The toe box is roomy without ruining the style of the boot. They look best with a mini-skirt, but look good under jeans as well. I'm on my feet all day at work, and these boots still felt good after a day of work and walking around downtown in the evening with friends.

Finally shoes that fit!
My grandson was so happy when he tried these shoes on! He has tried several dozens in stores & could never get shoes wide or comfortable enough for his big boy 6EEE feet. He loves these shoes. They're dressier than sneakers, but not too dressy. I tell everyone looking for shoes to look at Zappos! The customer service is impeccable!

Not comfy for me -
I am returning these because it's totally not as comfortable as the other reviewers suggested. My feet are a bit wide, and it felt tight at the toes. Having said that, this may not be an issue for those with narrow feet. As for the look - I was skeptical to buy because I didn't think they're that cute (but with Zappos I never worry since I can always return!), and when I received them, I thought they were OK. However, on the foot - they are super cute! They make the foot look better, and have a special look to them that I really really like.

Love, love, love, love these boots!!!! They are exceptionally comfortable, the top stays put! My calves are too wide for most regular leather shaft boots but not wide enough for "wide shaft" boots but these boots fit perfectly!! They are comfortable, Love the wedge heal for all day wear good for both dressy and casual! I can wear them with jeans or dress pants - I highly recommend these boots.

This shoe keeps my feet drier as compared to other casual shoes I own. It has been my experience that this shoe keeps my feet drier than other shoes of the same suede construction. I think these are great!
