Not the best shoe for the money -
My son loves the fact they light up... he is 2 1/2 and thinks they are cool, but they are not the best quality... the silver side stripe has already peeled off the sneaker and the front strings that you used to sew the bottom on are already frayed and well... I will not purchase this brand again... Skechers quality has gone downhill... BUT ZAPPOS... is still the best... best service, and best shipping... super fast...I love ZAPPOS.

My daughter loved them!
I ordered these shoes in August at about 3 or 4 in the afternoon and they came the next morning! As soon as I showed my daughter them, she wanted to put them on. They have held up good over a couple months and are still going on an everyday basis. The designs are very cute and the shoes are easy to put on.

Fancy but flimsy -
The shoe looks cool and fancy. However, the silver applications, especially at the front sides, cracked after only three days and ripped the entire fabric. Now the upper material is completely loose and the shoe is ruined. The shoe is heavy and made to be used in rougher terrain as well. Think again!

Skechers bad straps -
The strap on this over-priced shoe twisted in the metal loop and makes it very hard to Velcro tightly in place. I tried to fix it, but it can't be done because the strap is worn and twisted. This happened after 2 wearings. My son is re-velcroing it constantly to get it to stay in place like the other shoe.

Son Loves This Sneaker!!
My son absolutely loves wearing Skechers! These are a personal favorite of his; the look is as great as the fit. Five stars all the way. Plus, I can't tell you how excited he was when he got them the day after I ordered them. My son loves Zappos almost as much as I do!

This is the second pair I have purchased for my son and he loves them. They are comfortable from the first day wear and the velcro lasts the life of the shoe. They are very nice looking shoes. They continue to look good months after wearing. They lasted about 9 months but when they started coming apart they totally feel apart in like a week. They lasted longer than most other shoes we have purchased for a higher price so I was happy.

The shoes arrived the very next day which was amazing because I selected standard shipping and the item came less than 24 hours later. The shoes look better in the picture. I was expecting the entire shoe to be black patent leather, but it actually fades to a gray at the toe and is not as shiny as the picture. As far as the style and fit of the shoe, I LOVE it. They fit perfectly! I love the way they look, just wish they were a darker black and shinier.

Sketchers Kids Damager Strap Issue -
First we tried the sketcher's avionics and the strap just broke after about 2 1/2 months. So, we switched to the Roadwarrior sketcher brand. This strap lasted only 1 1/2 months. The shoes are awesome. The velcro strap design on all sketcher shoes seem to require major redesign. My son is 9. He is no brute. He just wears them relentlessly every day and puts them on and off several times a day, but he is not being a brute with them, so they should hold up better. No strap makes the shoe completely unwearable. Zappos customer service is awesome though as they exchanged the shoe and helped me get a new pair at no cost!

Kids love 'em - mom not so thrilled.
I was that hold-out Mom who never bought my sons the sneakers with lights. But once I saw these in both fire and police themes - both of my sons would be over the moon! The lights are super bright...they totally sucked us in!
I have to say that after *ONE* WEEK the lights stopped working on one of each of their pairs. It's now been 3 weeks and only 1/4 of the lights are operational.
They are expensive - but certainly not durable.
They look great - but don't be fooled.
The only good thing about them - is even with the lights not working - the kids like em... and I don't have to tie.
I can not in good faith support this product.
