Sole separated rather quickly with little wear -
I like the look of these shoes and the fit and feel has been pretty good, but the leather sole separated on me rather quickly which is very disappointing. I have been wearing the shoes less than 6 months and only occasionally during that time frame (maybe 2 times a week). The soles should not separate with this little wear!

Great Shoe-Not Support -
Great looking with jeans or business casual dress pants. Stiffer sole also gives the nice "click" of a well made shoe. The support on the inside however is not what it should be. For big guys the shoe gets flat in a hurry. Other than that perfect!

Great Shoes!
Came out of the box ready to wear comfortably all day. A very good fit and a sharp looking shoe for business. Slips on the foot easily without the need for a spoon, so they're great for going through airport security. I'll buy another pair whenever I need them in a different color.

Absolutely beautiful. A bit narrow for my foot at first, it took about 6 wears to really break them in, but now they feel great, unless an unusually long time on feet or long distance to walk. Dresses up work slacks nicely or is an elegant evening shoe. Worth the money.

Excellent shoe with any suit. Great comfort. Leather wears well. One thing I do have to say is I owned 8 pair of Marco's to date and ALL had the heel (black rubber fall off). Hmmmmmm. That is the only flaw in the shoe. By that time they were looking ruff any way.

Finish pealing off -
I have bought several pair of Bostonian Andover shoes over the years and have been more than satisfied...until this last pair. The finish is literally pealing off the shoe. While shopping, I saw new shoes in the store that were exhibiting the same problem. I did not buy a pair.

Look great in the box...
But it'll scuff just looking at it. I am actually considering stripping these shoes and redying them. I have a similar par of black toe-capped oxfords form Bostonian (exactly the same construction and sole, only difference is the toe detail). And they are bomb proof--three weeks in, daily use, and they still look good. The Riverdale? I wear them maybe one day a week and the need a polish after every wearing.

My first Zappos purchase -
I have wide (4E) flat feet so it is difficult finding any kind of shoe that fits comfortably. I purchased the Bostonian Marco dress shoe after reading all the reviews. I expected to utilize an arch support insert and I was right. I use New Balance stabilizer inserts and they worked great with this shoe. Overall, the fit is great, the look is perfect, and the speedy delivery was a nice surprise. Thanks Zappos. I'm ready to buy more dress shoes in my size when you get more in. Thanks.

Needed some stretching, heels are plastic and doesn't last that long and makes loud noise. The soles are part leather and part thin rubber, would have been better if sole was all leather of 1/2 rubber. Replacement rubber heels installed and no other problems, holds a great shine.

I bought these shoes based on the posted reviews and the style and am sorry I did. They do "look" very nice, but "feel" like plastic. I wear them approx 2-3 times a week, it's been 4 months and they are still not that comfortable. The edges of the heels wore quickly and look tacky since the black wore off exposing the very light color material underneath. Today, on the bus, I noticed that the sole has split apart on the left shoe. Also, the heels click quite loudly on hard floors. Everyone hears me coming and I am a pretty soft walker! I will definitely NOT be buying Bostonians again!

Comfortable dress shoe -
This shoe is stylish and comfortable. I wear it with a suit or blazer about three days per week. It even has small rubber treds embedded in the leather sole to keep you from slipping on ice, and I assume they help the outsole last longer.
