I am quite please with the two pair of riverfront shoes that I purchased from Zappos. They are comfortable and nice looking I have received a number of compliments on their appearance. I think Bostonian should make the arch support a bit more supportive. Other than that they are great shoes.

Good shoe, but creases quickly -
These shoes look and feel good out of the box.
Only negative is that the toe creases very quickly and makes the shoes look older than they are.
If you plan on buying these, plan on using shoe trees to try and keep the shape.

Great comfortable shoes - no light-color socks though...
This is a very comfortable shoe and it can definitely take a beating. At the beginning it may feel a little tight, but after a week or so becomes very comfortable. On the other hand, the black interior of the shoe bleeds on any light color socks. So, if you're planning to wear them with khakis or light-color pants, make sure not to match the socks to the pants (as one normally should).

Great look horrible product -
I purchased a pair of the Maldens last August and within 4 months the welt was cracked and unrepairable. Zappos was great and offered an exchange, not even 2 months later the welt was cracked and the heel had split on the new pair... DO NOT GET THESE SHOES!!!

I have a wide foot and have had trouble fitting them. These shoes fit wonderfully, and are very comfortable and great looking. I was so pleased I bought a second pair in tan.

Squeak like a rusty door hinge with every step -
Disappointing overall irrespective of price. Shoes were a half size larger than marked. Look good and holds a shine well but that's all they have going for them.

Shoes for Prom -
I realized I needed to order my son some shoes, as we have a hard time finding size 14 in the stores. I ordered the Bostonian Akron's from Zappos.com and they came the very next day!! My son says they are very comfortable -- didn't bind or pinch and were nice for the walking and dancing he did that night. They looked very sharp with his suit. He also wears them to church and likes them a lot.

My new Bostonian Wing Tips are classic and timeless. They look swell. Though they will never be mistaken for a $400 pair from Italy, they will serve me well. Predictably well.

I ordered these from Zappos and they felt pretty good when I first put them on. Now that I have had them for two weeks, I am unimpressed. My feet hurt after every day in them now. Additionally, the insole is coming unglued on both shoes. I've never owned Bostonians before, and I don't think I will again. They look great, though.

Good shoe, bad footbed - The shoes are very comfortable. The leather on the footbed has an overlap right under the ball of the foot. When I walked, it rolled up and bunched up. I 'fixed' it with a little fabric tape.

It is great to find a dress shoe for my son, because he is in between men's and boy's sizes. These shoes are great because they are classic and comfortable. My son actually wears a 7 and we had to go a size down. He does have a rather narrow foot.

So excited to find a pair of reasonably priced wingtips for my size 14 husband! He loves the shoes and they fit nice. The only thing is the heel is a little low in the back, but otherwise a great shoe at a great price!
