good inexpensive slip ons -
I bought these shoes on sale last week and am pretty happy with them. I needed a replacement for my old Clarks slip-ons which were 3 years old, worn 4-5 days a week and down to the screws. I tried these on in the store and found out wow - they run huge, certainly lengthwise if not width. I am a true size 11D and put my right (larger) foot in these and it was floating all over the place and heel tending to slip out. I also had athletic socks on which are slightly thicker than most dress socks, and tried them on in the afternoon when foot tends to swell up a bit. If you wear really thin socks I would order a half-size to full size smaller than you normally wear. If you wear cotton socks, still go half a size down. I settled on size 10.5 and am pretty happy with them, though I could have possibly squeezed into a 10 with not much more trouble. These shoes have almost no break-in which was amazing to me. I wore them around my house for 30 minutes just to be sure I wouldn't be in pain the next day, but it almost didn't even matter. They felt broken in from the get go, and are generally a pretty supportive yet comfortable shoe with decent cushioning, so comfort deserves a 4.5 from me. The sole is not very stiff or thick, it's a bit thin and more flexible than most near the ball of your foot, so if you need a really strongly built shoe or are wearing these for work be aware of that. These are a pretty low key slip on shoe, I think of it more as a loafer where in the past I am more accustomed to a slip-on oxford style. They're moderately pointy and low profile in the toe box which is also different to me, so if that is not quite your style beware, you may dislike it. There's no elastic where the top of the shoe is to allow easy ingress and egress, as you would find with most high end slip ons, so they're a bit tougher to get on than some, but after a short time wearing them this shouldn't be a major problem. Also, they're not nearly as shiny out of the box as pictured, but the leather is very good quality that can be buffed to a good shine if desired. However, I am very satisfied with this purchase and was actually tempted to buy a 2nd pair if on sale.

My experience shopping at Zappos.com was fabulous. Because I have a wide foot the process of finding adequate shoes in the traditional stores was difficult and in many cases impossible. My last 4 pair of shoes were from Zappos.com and let me inform that these are comfortable, modern and cute. The delivery of the items was always in the time frame.

This shoe isn't what I'd describe as the traditional boat shoe. It is comfortable; however, the shoe laces are thick and difficult to keep tied. You have to double tie them.

Very fast delivery! Shoes are a perfect match overall, comfortable and much lighter in weight than they look. I bought them in black so I was a bit concerned about the stark white stitching on the shoes in the photos, but it's really more like a soft grey color. I'm very happy with the purchase. These Nunn Bush shoes are outstanding, or is it that because I'm Out Standing on my feet all day, working in a kitchen. Anyway, they're slip resistant which is definitely a requirement in a kitchen, they're relative light weight and they're extremely comfortable. There's plenty of room in these shoes allowing me to wear thick heavy socks plus the inner cushion is easily removed if you need to add orthotics. These shoes are worth the price and I'm keeping them bookmarked for when I need another pair.

These shoes are great. I got the 4E because I have a wide foot and can never find shoes that are both comfortable and look stylish. These do both. I wear them to work with dress pants and a dress shirt and they look wonderful. I sit, stand, and walk a lot during my eight hour day at the office and by 5 p.m. they still feel fine. As a matter of fact, I liked them so much I ordered the same pair in black last week and they're just as nice!

This is the second pair of these shoes I've ordered for my dad who has Alzheimer's disease. It's difficult for him to tie laces and these shoes provide a bit more support than slip-ons. They are very good looking and true to size.

Great looking, comfortable, lasts about one month. I was very impressed with this shoe right out of the box. It looks great and has a very comfortable fit. Unfortunately, only after a few weeks of use, the gel lined insert is falling apart. This isn't something I'd expect from an expensive shoe.

These shoes are great in every way except for the laces. I purchase two pairws each time I buy these. One black pair and the other a brown pair. Within 5-6 months the laces start falling apart. The inner part of the lace separates from the outer part. And finding laces for these shoes is not easy. Other wise for someone that needs a wire shoe these can\'t be beat.

I have wide feet and so it's almost impossible to find any selection of shoes which fit me in a regular shoe store. Zappos has such an amazingly good selection of shoes available in wide fittings that I'm almost "spoiled for choice". I love that I can return ones I don't want with no shipping cost. It means I can try a few pairs at home and keep only the ones that are perfect.The Nunn Bush Eagans I just bought look great. The second time I wore them was to a formal ball. The first pair of shoes I ordered was a little too wide and the customer representative arranged to have a replacement pair shipped while the first pair was in the return process. The next morning I received my new shoes and they are perfect.\r\nI\'ve shopped with Zappos for almost 10 years; and I have to say this incident of customer service was not exceptional, it has been the rule for all these years.
