One Minute Manager -
I first read the One Minute Manager, then followed up with Putting the One Minute Manager to Work. Needless to say using the techniques outlined in this book helped me transform a struggling store into a very successful one today. Employees became engaged and attitudes, including mine took a 180. I was able to put it to use in 2 very different settings and received excellent results in both. Since then I've promoted within my company and continue to use most of these techniques today.

The DVD that comes with it is a little hokey, BUT it's almost worth it just to see the guy featured say "Spin it and win it!" (And then spin his spin it and win it medallion). The planner is actually really awesome. I've been using it for over a month now and it's done a TON to get me mind and time better organized. I totally recommend it if you're looking for a planner.

An incredibly powerful and revolutionary way to look at and impact organizational performance. It will turn on its head your notions of what makes an organization effective while at the same time being blindingly obvious once you read it. The question will be are the individuals in your company willing to take the risk and do the hard work required to let go of the past and create an amazing future that is not otherwise possible or imaginable.
