Marquis M. Converse opened the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in Malden, Massachusetts in 1908 and started out with winterized footwear for men, women, and children. Love these shoes. Yes, they are hard to get on, but they are so cool and look and feel great. I have a pair and I'm 50; my 5 year old has three pairs and loves 'em! Comfy and stylish! We order them 1 size small for me, but for the kid I order them in whatever her current size is in her other shoes.

Bought these for my daughter and they fit very well. Real laces (as opposed to elastic lace-style prevalent in other children's shoes) are not as inconvenient as you would have thought; I like that I can adjust the width on her shoe and make it a little harder for her to take them off. Converse goes with everything from dresses to jeans so it kind of justifies the higher price than many other kids' shoes!

I bought these for my toddler boys, ages 2 and 4. I love them because they are roomy for wide feet, plus machine washable, which is huge at our house. I've purchased running-type sneakers for the boys in the past, but you can't wash them. And because my boys play outside a ton, those sneakers would look dirty in a week. With the Chucks, I just throw them in the washer and we're good to go. Plus, easier to hand down when clean.

Love these shoes! I do think they run a little big, but not so much that I would order a smaller size. My son has wide feet and these still fit great. And they wash up well, too. After a long day outside, I just wipe them with a damp cloth and they look like new again!

We really like these shoes. They run very large, however. Originally, we ordered a 13 but had to return them for a 12, so order a full size smaller. Also, they don\'t come in half sizes so buy the full size down from your child\'s normal size. Would definitely buy again.

My 8-year-old daughter loves these things. I think she's worn them 90% of the time since we bought them, and the other 10% was because I told her to wear something else for whatever reason. She loves Converse shoes, but is always annoyed by tying them, so Converse + slip-on is nirvana for her. I know that Converse runs large and so I bought them at a size smaller than what she usually wears and the size was what I expected. (So not sure what I'll check re: "true to size", etc.)

I bought these for my 3 year old daughter and she loves them! They are even cuter in person than in the pictures. Both the laces and the Converse All Star emblem sparkle with hot pink glitter, a huge plus for a young girl! They do run a good half - full size big, but, being that they're hightops, you can get them nice and snug and get more wear out of them with the extra room.

I ordered these for my daughter and she loves them! She is wearing them with everything; leggings, skinny jeans, mini skirts, shorts. It's now getting chilly, but she still wears them. They are bigger, about one full size, so take that into account when ordering.


	I received my shoes and they are great. Your company provides the best customer experience in the US. You could teach a thing or two to other businesses. I'll never buy shoes from any other company and will continue to rave about Zappos to all my friends. This is true CRM in action. Kudos to Zappos!
