The Count New Balance 574\'s are beyond cute! The cushioning is wonderful and the size is right on. The sole is pretty stiff, so if you are looking for flexible then this might not be for you. Also, we have tried other styles of the Sesame Street collection for New Balance and this seems like it is not real suede like they used to be. My son says they are comfy and wears a lot of NB. These are probably not for your child if they have a wide foot.

So far these shoes have held up whereas others have not for my son. They are extremely comfortable and easy for him to put on. His other shoes rubbed his ankles (metal bands) raw and pinched his toes. I have always liked New Balance for myself and I am pleased they have them for children. My sons have wide feet and the stores carry narrow to medium only. They are terrific! I hope they last.

My 2.5 year old loves these shoes. So far, the shoes have held up extremely well. We originally ordered the regular width but my son said they were too tight so we ordered the wide width. My son usually wears regular width so be mindful when ordering. The length appeared to be true to size. I highly recommend these shoes for durability, comfort, and style.

These shoes are great! And super cute. They fit my daughter's foot very well. The colors are great and the black on the front doesn't show the scratches kids get from playing. Also love Zappos and the quick way they get things to you, what service! Will shop here again, and again, and again!

My daughter prefers the style of boy\'s/unisex sneakers plus she has a very wide foot. These sneakers are great. Although I think these are geared towards boys, the coloring is not so masculine that they look funny on a girl; they actually look very cool. I am a bit jealous. My daughter likes the fit of these extra-wides better than the Stride-Rite extra wides becausee the in step/arch section is more comfortable. Although the sneakers are expensive they have been worth it since she wears them almost everyday.

Because they\'re all black, these shoes are dressy enough for any occasion our 3-year old attends. (No formal occasions are on his social calendar this season.) He hasn\'t complained about comfort. Unfortunately, the laces in toddler/youth size 11.5 are almost twice as long as needed. Double-knots, double-bows, etc. didn\'t help. We had to replace the laces with shorter ones. We\'d order them again, anyway. Shipment was very fast!

These shoes are perfect for my 27-month old. Not only is the price right, but they come in wide width for my son's big feet. He can put these on and take them off himself (a must these days!), and they are really comfortable for him. These are the only sneakers he has loved to wear. I am glad we didn't go with the more expensive shoes like Stride Rite, like we have in the past. Thankfully, the growth of his foot has slowed down now, so he has been wearing these in size 9 for 2 months now. But when the time comes, we will most certainly get him the same pair in a larger size (and maybe in blue).

This is a great shoe for a young girl. It is comfortable, easy to put on, but most importantly it is cute. I purchased these for my granddaughter who has wide feet. She loves wearing them and they go with everything. This shoe has good support for her feet and appear to hold up well.

I love these shoes for my boys. The shoes have incredibly stiff soles (despite the cut out) and give my sons very good support. We've seen physical therapists for them and they have shown me how my sons' walk and run improves (is straighter, more regular, and more efficient and therefore faster) with the proper support. These shoes have very little torsion in the soles, have lots of support in the heel cup (when new, anyway) and I buy them online now because the kids shoe stores I go to don't stock this size. The one drawback is that pine cones and rocks can get stuck in the cutout in the sole, but you shouldn't wear any shoes on your hardwood floors!

 |  | I just called Zappos to ask questions about shoe width (I need a wider size) and a rep helped me to find some boots that come in wide sizes, of which I ordered two pair. She was very helpful and friendly, and also upgraded me to VIP status. I'm THRILLED that my order will come tomorrow! And my return will be sped up as well. Thanks to the rep for doing a great job!
