Love My Docs -
I love these boots so much. I have wanted a pair of Doc Martens since I was a teen and really wanted an updated version of the classic. I love how tough these boots look, but still have the feminine touches with the pink plaid and satin laces. I really feel super cool when I wear these. They are also so, so, so, so comfortable. I was worried they would be stiff, but from the moment I first put these on, they were perfect. I cannot wait to get a motorcycle so I can wear these. I really love these boots.

This Series 8287 Dr. Martens where ordered for my husband. He loved the look of the shoe/boot. The first few days where a bit hard on his feet - after the couple of day break in period they where good to go... he seems to really like them. 3.5 stars out of 4.

Great for wide feet -
I bought these in a 13 wide for my brother and he loves them. He's a big guy and is on his feet all day. He said they were so comfortable and there was no break-in period. His knees feel better and he has more energy at the end of the day.

Great Basic!
Dansko Professional Clogs always work for me--I have a funny-shaped foot--wide in the toe area, narrow heel, and extremely high arches. I never have to worry about needing my orthotics when I wear Dansko's; they provide the perfect arch support. I'm an 8.5W American-sized, but buy a 40 in European sizes to accommodate my width.

My Nursing Shoes -
Not a bad shoe, but it took a little break-in time. I had a couple sore spots on my feet the first couple times I wore them, but were OK once they stretched a bit. They aren't bad looking shoes, but... they aren't terribly stylish, but are OK for nursing shoes I guess. They don't seem to have much arch support.

I have not worn Docs in yrs. Purchased 1460 for my new motorcycle, very comfortable, not heavy. Usually wear a 7 1/2, but 7 fits great. I have a high arch and no problems.

These boots are as pictured and are probably comfortable. For riding, not practical – the heel is too far apart and would be awkward unless you have pegs. They are super cute but I needed more. The fit is true to size. this boot is a 'downtown' one, more for style.

Being a long time wearer of Docs, these boots were exactly what I expected: comfortable, reasonably priced and fit perfectly. The sizing on one pair is the same as all. The price is reasonable for a pair of boots that will last at least 3 years of day in and out wear. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and I wear them everyday!

Great shoes -
These are great comfortable shoes, especially for a nurse. I ordered them and they came in about four days! I would order a half size larger than your regular size. They are a bit tight at first, but stretch to a perfect fit after about 3 wears. Love them.

Great shoe for standing on feet all day. I am a nurse, bought my first pair and wore them for 5 years. Replaced them only b/c the tread was worn down (I drag my feet) and I was moving overseas and they were just kinda gross from 5 years L&D usage. They totally solved my aching back and sore feet after 12 hour days, look nice with scrubs, still felt great after 5 years. This new pair does fit a bit snugger and the euro sizes are way off- I lived in Europe and could wear a 38-39 but these in 40 are snug. The top is very snug but I think they are stretching a bit after a week of wear and they do slip comfortably-you may want to go up a size if you’re on the line. But they do stretch with continued wear.

A Truly Non-Skid Shoe -
Working in a restaurant kitchen can be a treacherous experience. After several pairs of so-called "non-skid/slip" work shoes, I finally found a pair that lives up to its description. This shoe is excellent in watery, oily, or slick surfaces. Other shoes that I tried left me sliding into hot stoves, slipping on tiled floors, or sore feet from gripping the floor in an attempt to maintain my balance. The only downside is a rather thin sole. I use inserts to cushion the bottom of my feet as there's not much support in this shoe. However, so far it meets the most important objective--to stay out of the stock pot!

Hurts - My Skechers felt good until they got loosened up. Then the left steel toe started catching on my toes, causing lots of hurt and some red bumps. I sent them back and will order another style.

Great, but only for so long.
I really wanted to give this boot a higher rating, because while it lasted, it was awesome, but here are several reasons I can't. I've had these boots for a year to date and at various points throughout the year, the following occurred: the leather wore off of both toes, exposing the steel, the padding eventually compressed to where I HAD to wear gel insoles, the fabric and padding on the heel/ankle area on the inside of the left boot wore away, exposing a plastic ridge that caused a lot of pain until I threw a bit of foam and some duct tape in there, which I have to replace every so often, and finally, the sole on both heels is cracking.
Disclaimer: I'm an artist and a welder and I'm on my feet, running around on cement floors from anywhere between 8 and 16 hours a day, typically for 6 days a week. I've really put these boots through the ringer, but that being said, for the price, I really expected to get more than 1 year out of them, and frankly, I'm disappointed that I'm now going to have to get a new pair of boots because of the cracking soles and worn heel. I know there aren't a lot of good women's steel toes out there, but I'm thinking of trying a pair of Wolverine boots.
If you're not going to be using these boots as much as I did, I'd recommend them, if you do need boots that can take a beating; however, I'd suggest you look elsewhere. If only I could get paid for being a boot-tester :)

Finally!
I finally found a very comfortable and supportive clog that doesn't look like my grandmother would wear it! 4 stars only because it's a bit clunky looking. Fit is fab...lots of toe room and it accommodates my high instep. After foot surgeries, one foot is slightly wider than the other and this shoe fits both. It's comfortable to walk in and I quickly bought another pair! Zappos is thee best place to shop -- they put up with my countless returns till I found what I wanted, never questioning. Give this shoe a try -- I think you'll be satisfied.

Great work shoes -
I bought these shoes to wear at work. I deliver to restaurants all day and the kitchen floors can be slippery. With these shoes I never have a problem on the greasy floors. They are fairly light weight for steel toes also. I would highly suggest these shoes for someone who works on their feet all day.

Worth every penny -
This shoe is everything it's hyped up to be. At first I resisted paying this price for a pair of shoes, but they are so worth it. I am in the medical profession and my feet and back used to kill me by the end of the day. Now I feel as fresh as when I begin my shift. I haven't found a similar shoe yet.

Wow! Now I'm a believer! I'm a huge Keen and Chaco fan and I have a high arch that collapses when I walk so if I don't have good arch support, my knees hurt after a day of walking. I've always been around clogs since my sister is a huge fan and my dad is Danish...but I always thought the hard sole would be awful. Well, after buying these shoes and out of the box wearing them all day at work, I feel great. They provide amazing stability and you can walk a little bit like you can in an MBT. The leather looks great/high quality, but I was a little disappointed with the shiny sole. Maybe the cabrio or pull-up have a better sole. I am a typical 8 and the 39 is perfect for my long middle toe.

Look comfortable, but are not!
These shoes looked so soft and comfortable on the web site. As a teacher, I spend my entire day on my feet, so I ordered them. They felt like they had dry rot and had been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for years. Naturally, I sent them back. Big disappointment!

I ordered these for my son who is an electrician – on his feet 12+ hrs/day wearing a 50+ lb. tool belt, going up and down ladders, etc. He loves these shoes, comfortable from day one – unlike Timberlands that required a lengthy break in. If they hold up, will be his work boot of choice.

Finally! Favorable Footwear -
Except for the lack of insoles, and a little tight on lower upper tongue, the shoe fits good. No squeeze or rubbing on the toes, not too wide in the rear, and the tongue has nice padding. Comfortable and light as a tennis shoe/sneaker/sport shoe yet more durable. The look is a 5 1/2 and the comfort a 4 1/2 giving the overall evaluation of a 5. The Dr. Martens 8287 Series BEX Flex is superior to the inferior Dr. Martens 0939 Series Flex Link. Laces up easily giving the addition 1/2 point each for comfort and look. When these start to wear out I will consider another pair when financially feasible.
