These shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. I wore them at a trade show for 8 hours with no problem. I have a slightly wider foot and they fit great. My only complaint is that they stretch so much that my foot slides forward and the strap doesn't stay on the heel. I wish they fit snugger.

I purchased another pair of Fitzwell boots and they are hands down the most comfortable pair of high heeled boots I own. I was excited about this pair, but when I tried them on, they were much more narrow than expected. While the other pair of Fitzwell boots have a very generous toebox, this one is more narrow, even in the wide.

I just don't get it. I've now ordered and tried on seven different styles of Rocket Dogs thinking that sooner or later I'd find a pair that were as comfortable as they are cute. I have a high arch and none of the styles I tried (all of the "fleece" lined styles for Fall 2009) had any arch support. In addition, none of them had enough "fleece" to disguise how uncomfortable they are. They're flat, they're cheap. If you don't care about Ugg-like comfort, go for it, but if you need shoes that are cute and comfy, keep looking; these aren't them.

Oh my gosh! Absolutely perfect shoe. Perfect style, fit, and comfort! Now be forewarned I normally wear a 9 1/2 med shoe, but based on the reviews, I reluctantly ordered an 11 wide, the only size left. If it were not for the Zappos return and shipping policy I would not have ordered this shoe. I had previously ordered a different style of Fitzwell shoe in a 10 medium and it was way too narrow. I was, however, impressed with the quality of the shoe. So glad I took a chance and ordered this shoe in a larger size. I ordered 1 and 1/2 larger than I normally wear and a wide instead of a medium width. If you wear a medium width order a wide width. You will not be disappointed! I love this shoe!

These Rockstars rock! I have owned these for an hour and just returned from a 1/2 hour walk in them. Awesome boots! Keepers! Very comfortable! Based on other reviews, I ordered an 8 instead of my usual 7 or 7.5. So grateful that others gave the heads up, because these do run small. I found these on Zappos by searching for Rubber Sole black boots, because I got a pair of Vibram-soled high-heel boots last year (as an emergency purchase on vacation) and found them to be bizarrely comfortable. The rubber heels and soles on these have the same effect, comfort! Also: I have wide Flintstone feet, but the width on these is fine. Also: Zappos is awesome!

These boots are well made and comfortable. Actual fit runs smaller than size; order a half size larger than you typically wear. I normally wear an 8, but the 8 1/2 fits perfectly! I love these boots!

These are great shoes! The soles are soft and \'cushy\', like walking in grass. They run small and only come in whole sizes. I had to get a size 10, that never happened before.

I'm a true 5 1/2 medium width. I ordered a 6 in the camel stretch because that was the color I wanted and 5.5 not available but also from reading some of the reviews, several said to order up a size. I believe the boots fit true to size. My feet had room to slide back and forth in the six, also there was an obvious bend when walking where my toes ended and the boot continued. Returned the boots, hoping the camel becomes available in a 5 1/2.

These boots were exactly what I was looking for. I have slender calves and it's hard to find boots that fit right. I should have listened to the other reviews that suggested ordered a whole size larger than normal. I usually wear and 10 and had to send those back and get an 11. Zappos shipping is awesome and fast. Great boots.

First of all, I love Zappos.com! Their shipping and service policy makes ordering online risk-free. The Ivory Baldwin shoe deserves its rave reviews. The picture looks more matte than the actual shoe, which is a rich bridal ivory satin. They are very high, but it doesn't feel high due to the platform. I would order in every color if I could. Also, the softness of the fabric eliminates the "cutting" feeling you sometimes get around the toe.

These boots are hot! I got the brown, not as shiny as the picture, they are actually more of a matte milk chocolate color. These boots come up over my knee, which is good cause I have long legs and boots usually stop at the knee on me. Very high, but very sexy!

Love these boots. I love Frye in general and these boots really lived up to my expectations. I ordered a half size larger than I usually do to make room for socks. These shoes are very cute. It is taking me a little while to break them in, because I've only worn them a few times. They pinch my foot a little in the front, but otherwise they fit great and they look great for a flat. Cute, sexy, and professional looking. They look nice with jeans or with pants.

I am very pleased to write about these shoes. I bought a pair recently and from the second I got them out of the package, they have been the absolutely most comfortable pair of casual shoes I have ever owned. They feel like a slipper. They are true to size. They are soft, flexible, stylish and oh so comfy. My only concern about these shoes is the curved sole and the unprotected part of the leather that touches the ground; I am afraid that they will soak up water when it rains. I just plan to be careful with very rainy weather. I still absolutely love these shoes. And of course, Zappos is wonderful and enables one to try several pairs of shoes with no hassle returns or extra expenses. I highly recommend these shoes.

I originally thought these boots were going to be too narrow even though marked D width. However, after leaving them on for a while they stretched out, and I was able to get my orthodic into them. I would still say they are a narrower D width. These boots are very stylish and supportive. I would recommend them to anyone.

These boots are cute, but they slip in the heel and are tight in the toe box. Additionally they run big. I never wear an 8 anymore, but in these I definitely need an 8. For the amount I paid one would think that the fit would be perfect, soft and comfortable. It definitely was not.

I ordered these boots because I thought they\'d be versatile, due to the removable strap/chain. When I tried them on, the left boot felt loose, but the right boot felt tight. This is interesting because my left foot has been broken twice and has arthritis, and if anything, requires a larger size. So these boots are going back. Zappos, however, was great, as usual. The shipment of the boots was upgraded at no charge to 24 hour delivery, and sure enough they arrived the next day, even though I live in a small town. Talk about immediate gratification!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Zappos and my Frye Harness 12R boots! Yes, that's right, boots. I was so happy with the service I received from Zappos and the comfort and fit of my black Frye boots, that I ordered another pair. I got the Frye Campus 14L boots in Blazer Brown! I really love them too. Best of all though is the customer service from Zappos. It is absolutely unbeatable. I have been spreading the news to everyone, even the guys, at work. As always, Zappos is incredible with their overnight shipment. After reading all of the reviews I was pretty hesitant about purchasing these boots and have looked at others until I finally gave in and decided to try it out anyways. After all, thanks to Zappos, I can return them hassle free. The leather quality is nice (for the money), soft and supple. The heel looks sturdy, and overall the sole is pretty nice. There're some spots that don't look as nice, but I can live with it for now. Also, there were a couple of blemishes around the heel and on the shaft, but very minor and you really had to look hard to find them. I've put them on and they were perfect! I usually wear size 9-10, and ordered these in a 10, after reading reviews. Probably could have ordered a 9.5, but with a nice sock, I'll be fine. The calf's perfect for me. I'm average-above average when it comes to boots (horseback riding gave me some nice calves), I can probably wear them with skinny jeans even. Overall, the boots are comfortable to walk in (walked around the house) and I can barely notice the high heel. My foot even looks smaller in them. I'd recommend them to others.

I have a couple pair of cowboy boots and I really enjoy them. I love these Justin boots! I needed a pair of basic black ones. These are perfect for the money. I will probably just stick with Justin because I'm not ever disappointed. I did not need to break them in. They are comfortable and very adaptable to many outfits, and can even be dressy with a evening top, scarf and jeans. Some say the shank is short. I think it is fine, and because I have a slightly larger calf, I like this as well as the width of the shank. I wear them with skirts, dresses and jeans/pants. They have white stitching which was a bit of a surprise. Couldn't decide if I wanted that or not, but it is neat, and if I don't, I will blacken the stitching with polish. I bought an 8M, which I typically wear. Yes, the heel slips, but I was always told that in western boots, this was how they were supposed to fit. And once you get used to it, it just feels right. No need for inserts etc. As far as arch support, I'm not a good one to ask. I do not like heavy arch supports with "humps" because my arch is very low to non-existent. These boots are comfortable to me. Zappos is the best. What's not to like with customer service, free shipping, and faster than lightning service? I can't believe how good this place is, and I usually don't like shopping on line.

After carefully reading all of the reviews on this Frye Dorado Riding Boot, I decided to take a chance. I was very concerned about the reports on heel slippage, so I decided to order an 8.5 instead of a 9. I have two other pairs of Frye Boots (Harness and Campus) in size 9 and they fit swell, a little big, but never a problem with slipping, blisters, tightness, etc. These boots run big. They are longer than where my toes end, but kind of tight in the ball of the foot area, and I don't have any issues with width or bunions. Unfortunately, they slip in the heel like mad. I am so disappointed. I don't know if it's just this pair, or if it's all of them. I'm wearing them right now and here's what happens: Standing with my feet flat on the ground, they're fine, but if I position my feet into a tiptoe, you can feel a gigantic gap of space under your heel area. When I walk, even just a few feet my heel goes up and down rubbing the back of the boot. It's really annoying. I'm going to see if there's anything I can do about this because they are gorgeous boots. The shaft fits perfectly and even offers plenty of room to tuck in jeans (my calves are normal sized). I'll try a few things in an effort to remedy the situation and report back with the results.
