Not good for high instep or wide -
Great looking shoe - my 4 year old cried because we had to return them and he absolutely loved them, but he has a high instep and could not get them on without my help - the tongue cannot be released at all, but at the very top with one velcro strap and pretty tough to get a foot like his in - so we're trying one where the whole tongue can be loosened. I don't think it is a small shoe though, once his foot is in.

Great shoe for my granddaughter -
I bought this shoe for my granddaughter and she loved it! This shoe fits her very well, she loved how they light up, she prefers to wear them over any other shoes she has. She wears a wide width, but Zappos always has a nice selection of shoes in the wide widths.

Cute Shoe but VERY Uncomfortable -
This shoe is fab but be prepared for the welts that will appear on the top of your tots foot as a result of the straps pinching the skin. We may still have to return them which will break my son’s heart since he loves the flashing feature.

I was very happy when I gave the shoes to my granddaughter, She loved them right of they made her so happy; I can't wait to try more.

Spiderman light up shoes -
My 4.5 year old son LOVED these shoes and couldn't wait to wear them. He promised me they were comfortable, but apparently that was just b/c he liked them so much. After one day of wearing them, he had big bruises and red marks where the tongue (very wide and stiff) was digging into his foot/leg. Sadly for him, we had to return them.

Mom's comfortable, so is daughter!
She loves the lights and they make her go faster. Size is right on. The one complaint she has (she is only 4) is the tab on the back. Mom loves shopping with Zappos... I place an order and they are there the next day!

Perfect!
Geox shoes are the best! My daughter has always wanted light-up shoes, but always needs breathable shoes to help keep her sweaty feet dry… now she's got 'em! She's worn many pairs of Geox and all have worn well, we are sure that this pair will perform the same.

Durable with a wide toebox -
My son has completely worn out two pairs of these, and I'm pleased to say it took a year and a half for him to do it. He has wide, thick feet and the wide with gave his toes plenty of room to stretch out. The seams and velcro held up very well, even with everyday wear and being constantly wet and muddy from Oregon rain on the playground. (They cleaned up well despite being white, too!) Plus, even after a couple spins in the washing machine & hours of running, the fire trucks still light up! Great shoe -- highly recommended.
