Cute and Warm for Active Kids! I have always loved Acorn slippers for myself and I was excited to see these cute slippers for my son. Not only do they look good, they keep his feet warm, they are easy for him to get on himself and they STAY on, they are sturdy and he can be his active self indoors without slipping and sliding all over our wood floors or tripping. He's got wider feet and a high instep, and these shoes accommodate that even when he's wearing socks.

Happy feet! We got these slippers for my son for preschool (he has to wear slippers in the classroom). He can put them on by himself and they are very durable. We did have to buy a size bigger than we initially ordered, but that's okay because Zappos sent us a size larger for free and allowed us to give the smaller size away to a friend. The second shipment was also overnighted! Can't beat that!

Cute, but run small -
I had to return these for a larger size. My toddler is in sz 8 now and the 8-9 was much too small. I ordered the next size up and think it should fit. They are really cute with a nice foamy cushion on bottom. My girl was really excited when she saw them.

Order Bigger Size -
As usual, the Acorn slipper was very comfortable and rugged. However, the width was narrower than expected and the length also seemed to run small. We returned the first pair and ordered next size up and it was good although it still seemed a bit narrow on the top since there isn't any elastic on the upper band for give when the child slips his foot into it.

Very nice slipper for my 5 year-old!
This slipper has proven to be very comfortable and sturdy for my active son. I haven't washed it yet, but it seems quite durable and would most likely survive the wash just fine. He wears these day and night and can run and play in them in the house as well.

Comfy and sturdy slippers -
These were a hit with my 9 year old son. The wool fabric is comfy - no "itch factor". They are constructed well and fit true to size. I had never heard of this brand before, but I'm very happy with the purchase.

Perfect slipper for cold winter days -
These incredibly cozy and well-made slippers are soft, warm, durable and easy to clean (hand wash). My 5-year old daughter has worn several pairs of Acorn slippers to her school over the past two years. They are easy for a child to put on. They are also accommodating for wider feet.

Don't buy for a toddler- or buy bigger size-
Cute slippers, but they didn't fit my son. He wears 8.5 or 9 and we bought the 9/10 and could only get them on with difficulty. It just didn't seem comfortable so we're giving them away to a baby in the hope that they will be comfortable for someone with a smaller foot. Too bad b/c I bought matching adult slippers (which are too wide!).

My only comment is that they are very large--my foot is a size 6 1/2--and her size 2-3 fit me. I wanted them large--she is really a 1--maybe it is not bad--she can wear them for a long time--she loves them in any case. They are really soft and comfortable.
