From the beginning, there was only one goal for Professor Elio Parodi. Create a piece of footwear that would be synonymous with the word Comfort. In 1966, Professor Parodi succeeded in attaining his goal and Arcopedico footwear was born. Our feet have been thanking him ever since.
The Arcopedico brand can be identified by three basic traits: the Techno-Elastic upper, an anatomic footbed, and the twin arch support system. Due to its patented design and cushioning system, an Arcopedico shoe offers benefits that other brands simply cannot. Wearing an Arcopedico shoe will actually exercise your foot, strengthen the muscles, and ensure more comfort in walking. The tops of your feet will breathe easy and your soles will want to keep walking long after youve stopped.
Arcopedico not only offers an exceedingly comfortable shoe, they also offer many different styles and colors. You are sure to find something that will fit your casual lifestyle, whether it is an open toe sandal or a stylish Mary Jane. All Arcopedico styles are manufactured to provide you with industry leading comfort and durability. You owe it to your feet, try out an Arcopedico shoe.

Super comfortable support!!
I love Arcopedicos!! I've worn them for many years primarily around the house as slippers. They are great for standing on your feet for hours while cooking! The knit upper hugs your foot and molds to it. The arch support is perfect for my needs. While I don't run around town in them, I have run out to the grocery while wearing them and they look just fine! Highly recommended; it's the only slipper I wear! And now, in great colors!!

Comfortable but not clunky. I love my Arcopedico N17s! This is a new brand of shoe for me and
I will definitely buy more. They were immediately comfortable and look a whole lot nicer than my usual casual footwear. My only slight reservation is that they're probably not good for wearing for a day of lots of walking on hard pavement, as in travel, especially for the woman over 60 with weird feet. Not much padding and not much arch support. Other than that, a great pair of shoes.

What a lovely shoe!
I had never tried Arcopedico before, but after seeing this shoe at Zappos, I had to give it a try. The leather is very soft and conforms to the foot. The arch is less than I usually try for, so I won't wear them for heavy walking. I love the style - very European. I will now keep an eye on Arcopedico.

Cute but not comfortable -
These shoes are so adorable, but sadly they provide little if any arch (or any) support. They feel like you are walking barefoot, which may work for short uses but not for hours and hours of walking on pavement. Another problem: the velcro strap has only one position -- you can't really loosen it because then it doesn't lay flat -- the strap is designed so it only works when it's in the fully tightened position.

New find -
I probably would never had heard of this brand were it not for Zappos (without doubt my favorite online store.) I normally wear a wide or extra wide shoe (and am cursed with bunions), so I was a little skeptical about ordering these, but, after reading reviews here, I decided to go ahead (since there's really nothing to lose with Zappos great return policy). I am glad I did, since this shoe is extremely comfortable; the glove soft leather sort of molds to your foot. I've worn these to work two days in a row now, and am not even tempted to kick them off immediately when I get home. Given the high quality construction and materials, I think these are actually very reasonably priced, and I will certainly look into buying other styles from this brand.

Very comfortable shoe especially after an 8 hour day on my feet. I liked the first pair so much that I purchased another in a different color. I am very pleased with Zappos. This company is outstanding in customer service

Almost like slippers -
I bought this shoe because the reviews said it suited odd feet. My feet are one size different in length and some difference in width. After wearing these shoes at work all day I wore them around the house instead of immediately putting on my slippers. Very comfortable shoe.

Nice Shoe -
Love this Arcopedico New Queen II. At first I thought this shoe was too small. However, the leather is so soft that it soon stretches oh so little. I am a (7) and this shoe is for 6 1/2-7. Lots of room in the toe box. Looks good with jeans, skirts and shorts or capris. I got the brown which is a blah color but the fit is fabulous and now I don't wear any other shoe because of the comfort. I plan on buying more colors. I put an innersole in them for my bunions and arch support and just more comfort & cushion. This helps with my arthritis in the feet. The price is somewhat high for me but foot comfort is my highest priority. I just got my husband to buy (2) pairs of shoes from Zappos. He was amazed with the service. Zappos is so helpful and considerate. I truly thank them for their help and patience. I won't buy shoes anywhere else.

SO cute for a comfort shoe!
I walk a lot and I'm always looking for comfortable shoes. The comfort brands generally disappoint me because they tend to be ugly or at best, clunky. This shoe not only feels amazing--great for walking, and feather-light--but the shape of the toe and the angle of the cutout on the vamp, plus the skinny elastics, make it look more like a shoe you buy for style than one you buy for comfort. The elastic takes some time to break in (it leaves indentations on the foot at first) but it's worth it. The rest of the shoe is completely seamless and smooth inside, so no blisters. And there's plenty of room to wiggle your toes even if you have a wide foot--and yet the shoe doesn't look wide at all.

Comfortable, stylish shoes at last -
These are great shoes. Comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced. The only con would be they need just a little more support, but then they might not be as comfortable. I have 7 pair (one of each color) and love them all. Great to travel with, as they will not be crushed. These are also washable. Love em.

Comfort 10, looks 3 -
I just had knee surgery, so I wanted something with very little heel, good arch support and comfort. This shoe offers all of that. The first time I put it on it felt like butter. The stitching is flat and there are no pressure points. Also it has a great heel for walking on hard surfaces. It's a great fitting shoe; I have a long narrow foot - 10 1/2. But it is VERY non-descript, too. Almost too much. Looks great with jeans, but when I tried it with upscale work pants they didn't look as good.

Arcopedico Light -
This "clog" has a mesh top through which your feet can be viewed, and they look strange. The shoe is incredibly wide and has a fairly stiff sole that doesn't work with the flimsy mesh top.
I wouldn't recommend it unless you have wide feet.

Cute red shoe -
I have a teeny skinny foot that's hard to fit and I mostly wear lace-up shoes for good support. For years I've been wanting a cute red shoe that I can do a little walking in. There have been many returns in my efforts to balance cuteness and support. At last, Scala is here! Zappos had it in my two possible sizes (5. and 5.5), I had time to test them on carpeting, and now I have the shoes I've been wanting for years. I haven't had occasion yet to wear them outside, but I'm looking forward to that.

Very cute and comfortable shoe -
There aren't too many shoes out there that look "cute" in a size 11, but this one is definitely one of them. Very light and flexible. The leather is very supple. This shoe couldn't be much more comfortable. I'm very pleased with these shoes and Zappos' excellent service.

Nice shoes -
These shoes are wonderfully easy to clean. The dusty streets of Cairo wreak havoc on all shoes and it's nice to have a pair I can easily wipe down or even put in the washing machine! They are generally comfortable, except that I find the food bed to be somewhat hard and without much arch support (but my feet are very picky about these two points). However, there is plenty of room for any type of insert you need. Also, they were advertised as 9-9.5 US size, but they're definitely at least a 9.5, perhaps 10, as they are a bit loose on me (even with extra arch support and cushioning added inside).

Love these shoes - odd sizing -
I have these in red and I adore them. It's hard for me to find shoes that fit as I have bulky orthotics, but these shoes work perfectly with the orthotics, and the style is super cute and very comfy. They look great with pants or skirts or dresses. Love them. The only odd thing is I have another pair of Arcopedicos, the Shawna style in green (love those, too!), and those are a size 39; but for this style I had to re-order three times before finding a pair that fit. The 39s were a full size too big
the size that did fit in this style was a 38, which was initially a teeny bit tight in the toes, but after a few wearings they fit perfectly. The sizing is definitely off, but keep trying various sizes, as these shoes are worth it.

Keep trying -
I own 2 pair of these shoes and love them. I purchased one pair elsewhere and they were a perfect fit. The 2nd pair I tried at the same store didn't fit. So I ordered a pair from Zappos again one shoe was too large but the opposite foot of the other pair. So I ordered another pair again the same thing. Because I really wanted to keep a pair, I ended up placing a thicker footbed in one of the shoes and it works great. The leather is soft, the look- pretty dressy in the black, really fun in the green. If you really want to hedge your bet order a couple of pair just to make sure you get one that fits! It really is worth it!

Very comfortable -
I have wide feet and a high instep, in addition to what I guess is a bunion (!) below my left big toe, making my left foot wider. These shoes are comfortable and soft and I find that I can wear them all day without a problem. A beefier sole would offer more support, but they are nice and light which saves foot fatigue.

 | | Thanks so much to the whole Zappos team for handling & shipping my 2 recent orders with such speed. I place the orders on line last Sunday night, and they'll be at my door when I get home from work tomorrow night - 3 short days later - even though I'd requested the slowest (read: cheapest!) delivery mode. Your team upgraded delivery at no extra cost to me. I'm very thankful and impressed. Thanks again.
