Polish is peeling.
Great shoes. Only problem I had was that the polish or seal put on the toe cap of one of the boots is peeling off. There is nothing wrong with the surface underneath, but until it has peeled all the way off it doesn't look new.

Almost Great! Not sure yet about taking a several mile-long hike in these, might have to insert some padded insoles, but I like the roominess for my toes. They just feel a little "thin" on the soles.

Very cute comfortable shoe - I bought this shoe and it is so cute and comfy. I didn’t go with the other reviews and bought my normal size and it fit perfect. The wide heel makes the shoe height easy to walk in. Certainly would recommend.

Love them -
Following other people's advice, I got these shoes in the tan. The color is much more attractive in person. These shoes look great with both skirts and pants and I have gotten so many compliments on them. They are also surprisingly comfortable - my feet didn't hurt, even the first day I wore them. I love the retro look.

These are so close to perfect, I'm not shopping any more. I tried on what felt like the entire stock of suitable black boots at Michigan's department stores and Zappos combined last year with no luck. Boots are a MUST here, at least for me (I pretty much wear boots every day from November through March). These are only the 8th pair I tried on this year, and they're mine now! My only complaint is that the top is a bit wide for skinny calves, but if I begin exercising for the New Year as planned (or gain a ton of winter-weight from endless hot chocolates) these will be great. They are snug, shapely, nice leather (easy to clean and polish), good traction, steady heel, versatile (dressy or casual, either way), and safe to wear to work, where we're not allowed pointy heels. I’m 5’2, and the boots hit at a good height below the knee. Plus, they're comfy and flattering - enough toe room for even my wide feet. I usually have good luck with Kenneth Cole's Reaction shoes. It's so nice to find a designer with imagination and consideration enough to make fabulous not-pinchy shoes.

The shoes look nothing like "witch" shoes. They have clean lines, a modern wedge and are comfortable on top of all that! I wore them (I got black leather) to work the other day to rave reviews from the harshest of critics--my female co-workers. I'm on my feet a fair amount and for a girl who takes forever to break in shoes, these did pretty well! I'm already planning an outfit so I can wear them again tomorrow. And plotting to buy the plum suede... And my fiancé likes them. He is very picky about shoes, so I couldn't be more pleased w/ the purchase.

I finally succumbed -
Something about Kenneth Cole kinda bugs me - too trendy? Too faux smarty pants? Too cooler than thou? I don't know, but I really liked the way these shoes looked. I needed black dressy shoes. So I succumbed and I have to say, they are NICE shoes. Well made, they fit well, and for heels they are pretty comfortable. They have a sort of naughty librarian sexiness to them, which is perfect for me.

As a special treat I bought these shoes for myself. Never having tried Tribeca brand I was unsure as to fit. The fit and the look are great. Wore them the second day I had them and they didn't even need breaking in! I felt special and got some nice compliments. Thank you, once again, Zappos. P.S. Finally, the perfect gray boot!
I have been searching for the perfect grey flat boot and I have finally found it. I am pretty petite so it fits my size 6 foot and calves perfectly. It doesn’t make my calves look big; the fit is actually very flattering on me. I also really like the slouch of the suede and the round but still slightly pointy toe. I especially like the fact that the bottom is non-slip. Basically what I am saying is that these boots are utterly perfect for its cost value. Definitely a worth it buy.

Skyscraper tall, but super cute! I work in an office, the usual hours. I wear 2 inch and 3 inch heels on a regular basis, even when I go out with friends. I am in my 30s, and dance frequently. I wear a 7.5, or 8. So these shoes work for me on several levels. Straps keep my feet in for dancing, pattern goes well with work clothes (I bought in brown) and adorable vintage look keeps my curvy-yet-fit figure looking sharp. But. They are a bit TOO tall for me. 4 inches is a tough size to get used to. I do love them, and am keeping them, but I call them my "6 hour" shoes, rather than 8.

A good boot. First off, Zappos is awesome. They upgraded my order to overnight shipping free of charge. The fit was perfect. I went with a 10 1/2 since that's usually what I wear, but was prepared to have to send them back to swap for 11s since I wanted something roomy enough that I could wear thick socks for the winter. Good tread. Great style (I got the brown pair). I waterproofed the canvas parts since I'll be wearing them all winter and plan to treat the leather as well. They only get 3 stars for comfort because there's no insulation or padded lining of any sort and the bottom of the boot could use a padded insole. The tongue is great because it is connected to the boot all the way up (awkward description) which will prevent any muck, snow, etc. from getting inside if you step into a snow drift or something.

Pretty shoe...
The inside of this shoe is gorgeous! Which is good because they kept slipping off of my daughter's feet. My daughter has a very narrow foot and I thought that this shoe would stay on by virtue of its shape but alas, it did not. Strangers were picking up her shoe like she was Cinderella all day LOL. But it is a pretty pair. She also complained about her feet hurting, I suspect it's the lack of arch support.

Great shoe!
This shoe is very comfy, easy to wear all day at work. You do have to be careful when putting them on since the top buckle is higher up on your foot. Once you put on once, you understand and know what to do.

Very comfortable, but this shoe fell apart for my 8 year old son the second day he wore it. The bottom literally tore off from the shoe. I've considered hot glue-gunning it back, but I'm not sure it would hold. I expected much better quality for a pricey kid’s shoe. Granted, my son is active and wore this on the playground...but it is a kids' shoe for goodness sake; it should have been able to withstand boyhood playtime! I found the Stride Rite shoe to be much better quality and looks the same, for less money, too.

Sexy AND Comfortable -
These shoes are very interesting because of the dual looks they provide...yes, they are granny-like from the front, but then VA-VA-VOOM they are sexy from the side with the sleek high heel and platform toe. I've received many compliments--mostly from men. As for the sizing and comfort, I wear a size 8.5 or 9 and got the 9. They do feel a half-size larger, but that's okay; I think it's necessary. They fit well in the front, but do slip a little in the heel--something that I know Dr. Scholl's heel pads will remedy. I think if I'd have gotten the size 8.5, they would have been too tight in the toe. These shoes work best with short skirts/dresses and black OPAQUE tights for a sleek monotone line. I wouldn't recommend nude or different colored hose with these as they would look stout at the ankle due to the high vamp. They also work wonderfully under pants and jeans. Considering the height of the heel, the shoes are very comfortable due to the platform and the fact that the sole is well-cushioned. All and all, I'm very happy with this Zappos purchase!

I always wear a 9. In this case, they run at least half a number. Since they are open, I’d risk 8.5. They look vey feminine and elegant, but seen from up here, they are too wide around the toes, which makes them coarse. I imagined them narrower.

Great boot -
This is a fantastic boot for me. Very, very comfortable and pretty. The calf does run wider than most boots, which is one of the reasons it's great for me. Regular boots are often too slim, but wide calf boots can be too big. This seems to be "on the wide side". The foot fits well. I put insoles in for extra cushion and find that I can walk all day in them.

These shoes are nowhere near as good as the previous style "Ventura". The older ones had soles of high quality leather that you could wear for years. These are so inferior. Bring back the quality and I'll be a customer for life.
