I bought these so that I could wear them to work as black shoes, and still be ready for a pick-up b-ball game on the way home. They're fantastic! Great fit, comfortable, and my boss thinks I'm still following the dress code!

Decent shoe -
I have to say I'm not a fan of today's basketball shoe styles - I like something that doesn't look like marshmallows on my shoes, and that isn't screaming "look at ME!" all the time. But the price was nice, and these are one of the less flamboyant mids in my size (15). The back of the shoe is EXTREMELY stiff when new, and downright hurt the first couple times - digging in right behind my ankle bones. That's mostly gone away now. Also, I wish they were better ventilated. My feet are absolutely soaked after playing a couple hours of ball. Overall, if you're not looking to spend like crazy and don't want bling shoes, these are ok, but not ideal.

No arch support -
I have been using AND1 basketball sneakers as my racquetball court shoe for years now with great pleasure. (Basketball and racquetball sneakers are similar because they have excellent lateral stability and are good for stop and go movements and quick cuts.) This particular AND1 sneaker is very flat and has no arch support. After a few games I have pain just past my heel in the arches of my feet. The look of the sneaker is great (all black) but I have been experimenting with arch support insoles to quell the problem. If you have a high arch like me, this particular AND1 isn’t for you.

This is like the best basketball shoe to hoop in. the grip on here is the best good arch support. They can be a lil tight when you first get them, but when you break them in...you can hoop in em all day.

...Bought out the red/white/blk Glide Mid, which is the best of the Glide looks...true to size...light weight, great smooth response...The looks are sick/off the hook...eat up the And 1 lines as they only get harder to find as the new styles come in...just do it!!...Zappos rocks as do the And 1's....

13 year old son's favorites...
These are my son's favorite basketball shoes. He says they are the most comfortable. He is growing like a weed, so I bought the same sneaker in several different sizes. He has a slim foot, so that might be helpful for you in selecting this shoe.

I like 'em !
I am not necessarily a fan of black sneakers and this IS my first pair. I was sold on the markings on the side and back, they add a touch of class to this sort of footwear. They are a bit narrower than marked but should stretch a little and thats all I need. Out of all the brands, I stick to AND1's and CONS!

Great looking shoe but cushioning was a bit thin. Fit was on the low side. I wanted a shoe with more cushioning but these are one of the best looking basketball shoes out there.

A very Light And 1 shoe -
This shoe is very, very light. It has a clean look that people notice right away. Good grip and fit. I actually jump higher in these! The only bad thing I can say is I stepped in a puddle the other day and water shot up through the little vent holes.
