I bought this bag because it looked neat and was able to accommodate my 17” Laptop, plus other items. I have a Dell Precision Notebook, so it is big and heavy. The cheap bag it came with didn’t do the job. The heavily padded strap doesn’t fatigue my shoulder at all. The bag also stays rigid. I have had bags that “dip” in the middle, making them impossible to carry. I also don’t have a fear of the strap breaking or coming loose. I have had this issue on cheaper bags. The front pockets are nice. They aren’t as secure, but they are easily accessible. There is a padded sleeve included. It’s nice for security checkpoints. If I want to carry my Netbook and files, I can just pull the sleeve out. I have read reviews where people complain about the clasps. They are a pain at first, but I quickly became efficient with them. The only thing I have found to be a pain is that the bag is noisy. The metal loops on the front jingle. It sounds like my dogs collar. They will probably end up getting cut off at some point.

This bag has come in handy soo many times. I use it for trips to the beach, the gym and have also used it for small trips to the grocery store. Great all-around bag and easy to clean too!

I'm totally loving the bag! I'm a doc student so I have to carry a huge amount of materials (books, binders, laptop, etc.) to school every day. Not only do these materials fit wonderfully, but I can store all my gym clothes and sneaks in the bottom pouch. The bag fits comfortably so it is no problem when I'm riding my bike or on the metro. I'm also a frequent weekend vacationer, and this bag is the perfect size for a weekend get-away. The top flap is somewhat cumbersome, as it does not stay open easily. I'm somewhat nervous that by bending the top of the bag backwards too often that it'll diminish the quality. Overall, though, I'm very psyched to have gotten the bag.

Best bag ever! It has a great style and is about as hardcore as you can get. As has been said, Oakley no longer makes this bag and it is very hard to come buy. I was lucky Zappos had it here because I looked all over the place. The bag has a very well padded shoulder pad in which you feel no discomfort. The computer sleeve is also very well padded and it has no metal which is good if you’re going through airline check. You have removable pockets for every sort of device or need. This is a rare gem and no other Oakley bag has approached in style or comfort. Thanks Zappos!

This back pack is great! I love it! I can fit so much stuff inside and even when fully packed it doesn't feel that heavy, and along with the support straps and waist and chest clips it is even better. I will never again travel anywhere without this bag! Beach or desert, this bag is the best!

Good bag, too many straps -
There are no two ways about it, the bag is cool. However, I don't think it’s going to age well like a Northface. I just bought it for a gear bag in Afgahnistan and not so sure its good looks or the velcro are going to last. Time will tell. For an around town bag, light use, durability in a harsh work environment, go Northface.

Excellent backpack. I bought it to go on travel with and to ride to work on my motorcycle. So far so good. The only thing I don't like is my raquetball racqet is too long and hangs out the top some.

Awesome Gym Bag -
I was looking for a backpack as my gym bag for a long time. Finally I found one! I love my backpack because 1) it has a lot various sized pockets for everything, 2) it has a top loading style (read Zapposs description) so my stuff does not fall off when I opened it, 3) it has just perfect structure so it can stand upright but it does fit on your back (unlike Patagonia Lightwire which was uncomfortable when it was half full and was returned...), and 4) it has a very cool style as you can see :0). I did not want anything which look like a backpack I used carry to school. I gave 4 stars because I am 5'3" and petite so the straps too wide. They will not be a problem for guys! Craftmanship is not as good as Patagonia (I own some bags from them), but it is holding up okay so far.

Overall I really like this purse. It has two main compartments to allow me to separate items and find things more easily. There are some small interior pockets for cell phone, etc. The light colored lining makes it easier to see inside too. The zip pocket on the front is virtually useless due to the direction the zipper moves in relation to the grippers. Would have been better as an open pocket. I wish it had been a little smaller overall as it feels somewhat bulky to carry and I never fill it.

My son very much loves this back pack! He lives at a dad house and a mom house ~so he is able to transport everything from house to house! He is 15 years old and 6'2 so this is a great size for him! It is comfortable to walk home from school and he looks so darn good with it on his back! I love all the pockets~ Perfect for transporting his Mac and Oakley sunglasses~ along with school books!

Just love it. Gets attention that's for sure. Fits all my books, and laptop, but the more you put in logically the heavier it gets, but put it on your back, very comfortable even with heavy books. I worry about the quality of the inside lining. I'm not sure if the inside stands up to its high price. The hard case and back collects lint like a magnet, and hard case makes it tough to access the large pocket, keeps trying to close. The clips and metal look heavy, but they’re not, that's a plus. The large front clips pull open with red tabs so easily and is so impressive.

Nice computer briefcase -
I ordered this for my husband - who travels a lot - and he loves it. He was originally looking for a leather computer briefcase, but the models we looked at online all seemed too narrow for a computer and books/papers or else they were too bulky and heavy. He also seems to like the trendy appearance of this bag (and he's in his 40s, not at all a hipster)!

Oakley Nails It!
I waited a long time to be certain I really wanted a $175 backpack. I needed a business solution to provide function, comfort and maybe a visual statement. I got all that and way underestimated the visual impact- it gets noticed! Most of us haul a lot of heavy crap in a briefcase with soft handles and a too thin shoulder strap. This backpack makes much more sense- it has ergonomic features to make impossibly heavy loads easier on the back and arms. It is far better designed than any other case or BP I've looked at or tried but then again, that's kinda how Oakley rolls isn't it?! I haul a 15" mac in a sleeve easily and well protected. There is room for everything and expansion options nothing else comes close to. I need to also mention how great the Zappos team is to work with. I am completely satisfied with the entire experience which is why I took the time to write this to share with others.

This is a great bag. Macbook Pro 15.4 fits in there nicely. Main compartment where laptop goes does not open very far and there is not a whole lot of room for more than a dozen folders/papers etc or so. The front pocket is adequate for your peripherals and other stuff. But, what makes this bag great is its look and the way it hangs on your shoulder. Almost messenger style with the upright load of the laptop. Very small felling on your shoulder and the way it hangs. Just what I was looking for. Would have given all 5 stars if not for its high price.

First of all let me start by saying that Zappos exudes the best customer oriented business bar none. I ordered my Oakley bag free of shipping at 3:00pm PT and received it the very next day!!! Their service is the best I have ever encountered. As far as the bag, the quality of construction and compartmental space is the best I have owned, or seen ever. I have a 17" laptop that fits perfect and with unbelievable space to spare, highly recommended.

Tech Geek's and Urban Warrior perfect backpack -
I love this backpack. I just got it today and it holds all of my books for school, workout shoes and clothes as well as my 17" laptop. The description says that it will fit up to a 15" notebook but if you go to the Oakley website you will get the real dimensions.
The only thing I would have liked to see is more covered pockets like the ones under the front flap for more power bricks, cables, and what-not. But there is a good amount of space under the molded pockets under the flap to have loose things...I just like order to the chaos. :)
One thing the pictures do not show is that there are molded pockets with covering flaps on both sides of the hip belt thingy. Well worth the money even though it is rather expensive but it should be the only backpack I will ever need no matter if I am at school or camping or whatever.
