Chic little casual boot!
These are the cutest boots and so chic! I was pleasantly surprised when I received these boots to see how stylish and sharp they look. The patent leather is really slick and did not look cheap as I anticipated they would. Unfortunately, I have athletic calves and can only zip boots half way up my calf. The footbed feels extremely comfortable. I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 6.5. Except for the problem with my calf, they fit perfectly in the foot area. Really unfortunate b/c I love the boot.
This was my first order with Zappos. Everything I've read is true. They are excellent! Excellent customer service, excellent delivery! These boots were her in no time flat! Too bad I can't fit them, but will definitely continue to shop at Zappos.

I just replaced my last pair after 10+ years of frequent wear. They are warm and comfortable. The new style is a bit lower in the toe and more square and have a zipper. Think I'll have the "big toe" area stretched upward a bit by the cobbler. These are a great choice for those with narrow feet.

Like them so much I'm trying to order another pair!
These are just the snazziest thing going, with a pair of very slim black pants and a long-ish sweater or jacket. Have just worn them on second plane trip with multiple layovers--I just love them.
I have asked Zappos to notify me if my size comes in (which I doubt, as you'd have to be truly fashion-and-comfort-impaired to resist them!)

Great little boot!
I bought this boot for a trip to NYC in Feb. It was comfortable and fit right out of the box. The boot kept my feet nice and cozy during 20-30 degree weather, except for 1 problem. As the snow melted and turned to slush, the boot absorbed the water and my feet got wet! They are supposed to be weather resistant, but I didn't feel a whole lot of resistance. Outside of this problem, they were awesome. We don't have that much cold weather in Austin, but when we do, these boots will definitely be on my feet!

This is my third pair of Santana boots and these fit a bit different than the other two pairs. They feel a bit longer and narrower, but are good quality as in the past. Hopefully they will wear as long and hard as the past pairs.

I am returning these. Was hoping that they would work as was looking for a nice simple low heeled walkable boot for skirts and pants in Europe. The calf was too small, would no way zip around my 15 inch at the widest calves. I ordered a wide and it was not wide enough even though I can often wear a regular width. No arch support either. I liked the sole and heel design. Instead I am going with a La Canadienne boot that has a higher heel then I want but is surprisingly comfortable, fits way better, and has nicer leather and slightly nicer craftsmanship (also water proof and made in Canada).

Great casual wedge boot -
I searched everywhere for a nice looking and comfortable pair of wedge boots. These were, seriously, the only pair I found that met my expectations. They look cool with jeans and are a good choice for bad winter weather (waterproof). I also ordered a pair of La Canadienne boots that were MUCH less comfortable. I definitely recommend Santana’s Kool 2 for anyone. These do feel a half size bigger than marked, but because they are so narrow, I am happy w/ the fit.

Great boots!
I ordered this shoe in a 7.5 which is my normal size but they were way to small...exchanged for an 8 and perfect fit. They are so comfy and look great with slacks. I'm really happy with them!

Not Waterproof -
I was excited to receive this boot yesterday, just in time for New York City's first snowstorm of the season. I was disappointed to learn the hard way, while walking four blocks to my friend's house -- not in puddles, just in snow -- that the boots are not at all waterproof. My feet were so wet that my hostess had to lend me a pair of socks. I've read the other reviews and think that this may be a fluke, but I have to send them back.

Awesome and functional -
This is my favorite boot in my closet and I have about 20 pairs it is so comfortable and looks great with jeans. I wore them right out of the box when they arrived. I usually wait about a week to decide but these are winners. They fit true to size. I wear an 8 and got the 8. So cool you can wear them in the rain. I can keep them on all day. The sole is like walking on pillows. Did I mention that I love this boot?

This is the third pair of Santana Hazel shoes that I have bought. They last many, many years and I actually needed a new pair partly because my feet grew 1/2 size longer. They are the only shoes that really keep my feet warm in this cold winter climate where I live. Otherwise, I may have to wear warm clumsy looking boots all the time. I have narrow feet and am able to adjust the laces for good fit. I prefer wearing them with pants. They are a wonderful choice. This latest pair features a side zipper as well as the laces. This makes it easy when putting these shoes off and on. Buy them at Zappos for great service.

Santana Martina "Hot" Boot -
The fit and comfort of this boot was amazing and I almost kept them. However, the boot was so hot on my legs and feet I felt like was suffocating. Also, the style was a bit too square for me as I was looking for something more stylish. I recommend these for people that live in a cold climate and dress conservatively.

Awesome boot!
I live in northern Alberta, Canada and hate changing footwear (outdoor to indoor) when I get to work. With this great boot, I don't have to! Fashionable, warm enough for in and out of the car in our harsh winters, looks and feels amazing. Narrow leg, but it stretched to fit like a glove in the first wear. Totally awesome. Not crazy about the price, but it’s worth it.

Despite other reviews/warnings, ordered this in my usual width, as I have sometimes had the problem of medium boots being too wide. Sure enough, in the medium width they were too narrow. Reordered in a wide, and they are great. Comfortable, look nice. Haven't tested the waterproof feature yet.

These boots look good. I have fussy feet and was pleasantly surprised that these are comfortable out of the box. I did need a good insole and a heel grip since the heel cup is a bit too big.
The calf circumference is wider than I need, but the gap doesn't look bad. So far I've worn them twice, all day long and they didn't hurt at all. And thanks Zappos for such fantastic service!

I've long been a fan of Santana boots but was trying to hold off on buying another pair. One freezing day too many in the wrong, non-waterproof, unlined boots convinced me to get these, and while I just got them today... I think they're going to be fabulous. Reviews said they run large, and I even ordered UP 1/2 a size as they didn't have my size--so they are generously sized, but as I've had two foot surgeries--I'd prefer that. Even though I agree with the reviewer who said it was too bad that the buckle is too high to show, I find that the white stitching still makes them look much better than just some generic boots AND I find the toe to be exactly as photographed. The square look is not only better for your feet (the foot docs say the closer the shoe is shaped to the box it comes in--the better off your feet will be!). It adds a contemporary look! I'm hopeful that they'll continue to be as great as they were out of the box as I haven't worn them outside as yet.

Very comfortable and sharp looking boots!
They are gorgeous, but they are narrow. I have a medium width foot and got a medium width size and it's tight, but the leather is so soft and good quality that I’m sure it will stretch a bit. They come to about mid-calf and are rather tight fitting, but I could thankfully still tuck in my skinny jeans and they looked good. My only complaint really is that I ordered an 8.5, but what I received was a 38. An 8.5, I thought, would be a 39, which I think would fit me better. My day shoe is an 8, but due to others suggestions, I ordered up a 1/2 size, but alas, I got an 8 anyways! It's a little snug in the heel, but again, hopefully the leather will stretch. I'm going away for a month tomorrow, so I can't return them! Wish me luck!

This is not my first experience with Santana, I had a couple of pair (which I wore out) back in the early 90s. What I like about them is that they look nice, but they're very warm. On advice of reviewers I ordered the wide and half size bigger -- and they fit great except they're a bit long in the toe. Not sure if the wide but a half size smaller would have worked. Probably should have ordered and tried both!
