Remac, LLP was founded in 1974 by Reneé and Micky Harrison upon the desire to create shoes that would provide women with a fashion-forward confidence. The company started with the signature brand, J. Reneé, for dressy and dress-casual shoes. Along with shoes, the J. Reneé line also includes handbags that coordinate with 90% of the footwear, all at affordable prices. The most recent addition to Remac’s brands, Jessica Bennett, was developed to expand the market by providing an Italian-designed collection of footwear offered at bridge-brand pricing. The company is presently maintained under the leadership of Reneé, Micky, and their two sons Eric and Kai Harrison.
The company was originally established as a sales organization to represent various factories and companies in the shoe industry. Through the merging of Reneé and Micky’s individual experiences in the shoe industry, the two decided to partake in a venture towards direct importing from the Far East in 1977. The development of the first high-heel tennis shoe led to international success for the company, producing and selling more than 100,000 pairs before new fashion trends emerged.
Having developed relationships all over the world, Remac currently sources most of its components in Italy and Europe and manufactures its products in China. Through hands-on, international research done by the product development team, Remac possesses the ability to keep in tune with all current styles and fashion trends. All patterns are conceptualized and designed at the corporate office located just outside of Dallas, Texas.

This is a sharp shoe for dressing up or with jeans. I was able to put it on and go. My only complaint is the heel is a bit too high for me to do a lot of walking around, but I love how it looks.

A nice little cheetah wedge sling that is sort of irridescent in appearance. the bronze wedge heel adds appeal and people will be able to tell that this is no ordinary animal print shoe. Very comfortable and stylish too.

Love the look of the shoe! But when walking it sounds like I'm wearing flip-flops because it is more of a mule than a shoe. If this shoe had a higher back so it didn't flop around, I would give 5 stars. I will be returning this shoe.

Awful! Positive stuff first: It is an attractive shoe. Does nothing for your legs, however. Since it is a box toe, it really cuts you off at the toes. Unfortunately, the attractive shoe is about all it has going for it. I can deal with height and soreness, but I've had more comfortable heels from Payless. The cone shape typically makes heels more comfy, but in this case it gets too narrow at the bottom. The leather on the red pair I ordered wasn't glued down properly on the heel. Very stiff and felt more like a Medium width than Wide. I typically order a wide if I plan on wearing the heels for a long period of time, but it was pointless with this pair. I've tried J. Renee three times now and this was definitely "third strike- you're out" for me.

These shoes are absolutely unbelievably awesome! They have cushion inside so they are so comfortable! And the chunky heel is sturdy and not too high. I can walk in these and wear for hours with no discomfort, and the burgundy and black leopard: ferocious. I loved these so much that I also got them in the pewter and black leopard, too! And they look so expensive, a steal of a price. Very happy with this purchase! And more important for me: they really are a true size 11. I hate when I buy shoes and they are supposed to be size 11, but frankly are really nothing more than glorified size 10s!

Glitz! Beautiful shoe, but on my size 12B foot it looks really long so I'm returning it. Love the glitz, but wish the heel wasn't glitzy, too. I think it would help make the look a little more polished.

Great shoe, great color, great style. Runs a little narrow so suggest you go up a 1/2 size. I normally take an 8 had to get an 8 1/2.

This shoe is a show stopper! I have small feet; Size 5 shoe. Comfortable shoes in that size are hard to find, but this shoe fits great! It seemed a bit snug at first, but quickly loosened up. Heel height is great. I love the difference in the texture between the smooth leather to the rough print.

These are the perfect dress shoes for formal functions. I struggled for a long time to find dark, dark navy shoes. Not only were these a great dark color, but the detailing makes them perfect for formal functions. The fit was right on, and the shoes were comfortable for hours of standing, walking, and dancing.

Great flat ! Easy wearing, slip on, comfortable all day at the office or running around on weekends. Toe bed cushion allows for sockless wear without the slip and slide from \'sweaty\' feet. One tiny wish: heal area where bottom of foot rests could be slightly wider...maybe my heal is just too wide but shoe could be less tapered in this area.\r\n

My husband is in the military and I needed a pair of shoes to wear to the annual Ball coming up next month. I wear a size 15 shoe and it was impossible to find one. I found these in a 13 and figured I'd give it a 'whirl' (no pun intended). The standard width didn't work because the strap was too short by a millimeter. So I ordered the Wide on a whim to see if it would be longer. It was! The shoe fits me perfectly. I couldn't be happier!

I love the big chunky jet black "jewels" on these shoes, and the slubs in the silky fabric. These details give this otherwise classic style shoe an updated trendy look. I could wear these shoes very comfortably for hours. The rounded toe doesn't squeeze my toes like some of my pointy-toed shoes do. I can't wait to wear these shoes over the holidays with some of my jet beaded tops.

I first bought these shoes in silver and later bought a second pair in the cork/gold. I wanted some shoes that would be comfortable, pack easily and be dressy enough for formal nights on cruises. These are perfect on all accounts. Because of my flat feet, I usually cannot wear a strappy sandal, but the mesh liner on these keep my feet in alignment, while at the same time being virtually invisible. The heel is high enough to give off a dressier vibe while still being a comfortable walking height. I get compliments on them every time I wear them.

These shoes are absolutely beautiful. I bought them in silver for my mother to wear with her mother-of-the-bride dress for my wedding. From the day that I gave her the shoes, she looked at them every day and loved them more and more. They are lovely shoes, but feature a shorter heel which was ideal for my mother. The fit (both size and width) was true.

Love this shoe! I wear a C width, and it doesn't look like a wide shoe. Very sexy, and even though the heel is not too high, it's as flattering as a higher heel. The heel strap is adjustable, so if you're like me and usually order a size larger, you can make the strap fit behind your heel so it doesn't slip. Love this shoe. I'm giving the comfort four stars, because even though it's comfortable for a dressy heel (especially one as pointy as this), it's still pointy and there's not as much toe-room because of that, but that's the trade-off I'd expect for this style.

I have problems getting a decent fit in shoes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this particular shoe was so comfortable and fit so beautifully. Zappo\'s was extremely helpful. My first order did not fit correctly, so they sent me a different size and all was well. With the free return this makes shopping more affordable.
