Remac, LLP was founded in 1974 by Reneé and Micky Harrison upon the desire to create shoes that would provide women with a fashion-forward confidence. The company started with the signature brand, J. Reneé, for dressy and dress-casual shoes. Along with shoes, the J. Reneé line also includes handbags that coordinate with 90% of the footwear, all at affordable prices. The most recent addition to Remac’s brands, Jessica Bennett, was developed to expand the market by providing an Italian-designed collection of footwear offered at bridge-brand pricing. The company is presently maintained under the leadership of Reneé, Micky, and their two sons Eric and Kai Harrison.
The company was originally established as a sales organization to represent various factories and companies in the shoe industry. Through the merging of Reneé and Micky’s individual experiences in the shoe industry, the two decided to partake in a venture towards direct importing from the Far East in 1977. The development of the first high-heel tennis shoe led to international success for the company, producing and selling more than 100,000 pairs before new fashion trends emerged.
Having developed relationships all over the world, Remac currently sources most of its components in Italy and Europe and manufactures its products in China. Through hands-on, international research done by the product development team, Remac possesses the ability to keep in tune with all current styles and fashion trends. All patterns are conceptualized and designed at the corporate office located just outside of Dallas, Texas.

Bought these in silver to wear at a wedding -- although they are very pretty in person the toe box is incredibly stiff and unforgiving. The shiny silver lining in the footbed is so smooth it made my feet slide forward into the already cramped toe box. I am returning them.

Beautiful, versatile shoe. This shoe is beautiful. Very pointy toe! I ordered two styles of the J. Renee shoes, both in size 5. Unfortunately, I will have to return it as it is at least 1/2 larger than a 5 and larger than the other shoe by the same maker. Heels are the same height so I don't think it's that my foot is pushed further.

These are really cute shoes, and they even fit my weird feet well, but it just didn't feel as if there was enough fabric above the sole to stay on my feet. Just a teeny bit over the toes, and the back of the heels was very low; they didn't feel secure.

Sexy shoe if it would stay on my foot. I have a very average size 9 foot. I was surprised when I put this shoe on I walked right out of it. I tightened the ankle strap all the way and still walked out of it. The straps near the toes were also loose. As I said I have an average sized 9 foot and could not wear these.

I love these boots with skirts or jeans. Much more comfortable than I expected. I have worn them to work several times and had lots of compliments. I stand all day and these have been pretty good for a dress shoe. Usually I'm wearing Dansko or Privo for work. These are fun for a short work day or a fun day. They fit pretty true to size.

I've been looking for a pair of patent mules for work to replace an older pair, and have had so much trouble finding something just right. Well, these fit the bill. I'm a seven, and they are true to size. They are dressy enough for work, comfortable (I'm a teacher), and look great with pants or skirts/tights. I was so happy with them, that I purchased the tumbled leather as well. I think I might purchase another pair in the patent, in case I can't find them again after I wear these out!

These shoes are great for people with narrow feet. I have such a hard time finding well-fitting flats because size ten is too small, but size 11 is too big. The 10.5 was perfect, and my narrow feet fit perfectly in them. They are also a great height for work, but so pretty that I wear them out at night, too!

I returned my first order because I could barely get my foot in the shoe. I normally wear a wide, but returned them and ordered the extra wide instead. The extra wide pair fit perfect. I wore them to a wedding. They were very stylish and comfortable. The heel is a great height.

This shoe (in red and black) is more beautiful than the computer screen shows! Great arch support and I love the lower sassy heel. Haven't worn them to work yet, but they will have to be worn a few times before my bunion loosens up the top structure.

This is a sharp shoe for dressing up or with jeans. I was able to put it on and go. My only complaint is the heel is a bit too high for me to do a lot of walking around, but I love how it looks.

A nice little cheetah wedge sling that is sort of irridescent in appearance. the bronze wedge heel adds appeal and people will be able to tell that this is no ordinary animal print shoe. Very comfortable and stylish too.

Love the look of the shoe! But when walking it sounds like I'm wearing flip-flops because it is more of a mule than a shoe. If this shoe had a higher back so it didn't flop around, I would give 5 stars. I will be returning this shoe.

Awful! Positive stuff first: It is an attractive shoe. Does nothing for your legs, however. Since it is a box toe, it really cuts you off at the toes. Unfortunately, the attractive shoe is about all it has going for it. I can deal with height and soreness, but I've had more comfortable heels from Payless. The cone shape typically makes heels more comfy, but in this case it gets too narrow at the bottom. The leather on the red pair I ordered wasn't glued down properly on the heel. Very stiff and felt more like a Medium width than Wide. I typically order a wide if I plan on wearing the heels for a long period of time, but it was pointless with this pair. I've tried J. Renee three times now and this was definitely "third strike- you're out" for me.

These shoes are absolutely unbelievably awesome! They have cushion inside so they are so comfortable! And the chunky heel is sturdy and not too high. I can walk in these and wear for hours with no discomfort, and the burgundy and black leopard: ferocious. I loved these so much that I also got them in the pewter and black leopard, too! And they look so expensive, a steal of a price. Very happy with this purchase! And more important for me: they really are a true size 11. I hate when I buy shoes and they are supposed to be size 11, but frankly are really nothing more than glorified size 10s!

Glitz! Beautiful shoe, but on my size 12B foot it looks really long so I'm returning it. Love the glitz, but wish the heel wasn't glitzy, too. I think it would help make the look a little more polished.
