I bought these shoes for my girls. I wanted something easy because we were going to be at Disney World and the airport. Well, every 5 minutes my youngest shoes were coming undone, my oldest kept tripping because they would come undone every hour or so. She got so upset about them she started to kick them off. I was sick of always having to refasten them. Another issue is the rubber band stuff stretches and stains and you can’t get it off. They owned the shoes for the week at Disney, and wore them for only 1 day, as we bought Crocs so we would never have to mess with the shoes again. They were also not easy at all for my 3 or 4 year old to make a tight fit. They also ran wide. Do not waste your money. Best velcro shoes I have found is stride rite or primigi. Good luck.

Great but heel pain -
My 8 year old son needed everyday sneakers for his wide foot. At first these shoes were great, but after about 1 week he developed heel pain. We purchased gel heel inserts for the shoes which solved the problem. However, I am disappointed he will need to wear these for the life of the shoe. Otherwise the shoe is fine, and no other readers seem to have reported this problem.

Finally wide sneakers that don't lace!!! My son's foot is very wide. In daycare they want easy off easy on shoes. Well in the stores I could only find wide shoes that laced. Thank God for this sight. It did kill me to pay this amount on shoes for a 5 year old who will tear them apart in 2 months…but he is comfortable and they are easy on easy off.

We love this brand of shoe for our 6 year old. However, we had to return this style. The bungee ties were too tight. My husband said that they would probably loosen over time but they were too tight for him to wear to school all day. He has a narrow foot so I was surprised at how tight they were. Too bad.

Great athletic shoe, great price -
This is an excellent choice for a growing toddler. I bought a pair of 9.5 Wide Width for my little girl. She loves how they look, I love the quality and arch support. I can always tell a good shoe by the way she walks in them - I'm very pleased with this shoe and recommend it. I always struggle finding wide width shoes that fit her properly - this shoe is well made and true-to-width.

These sneakers are awesome - just what my son wanted!
My son is 9 years old and is very particular about the sneakers he wears. He likes to be able to wiggle his toes around. He put these on and immediately loved them. He wears them everyday to school, plays tennis in them, and can easily get them off and on without even undoing the laces. He does not like to tie his sneakers too often. Another awesome pair of sneakers that I have purchased from Zappos to try on in the comfort of our own home and not have to go to several stores to find what I needed. Thanks again Zappos.

My son is very satisfied with the comfort and styling of the shoe, but the construction is substandard. We have already had to trim frayed stitching along the sides and toes of the shoes after approximately three weeks of use. Not the low quality I was expecting from a shoe in this price range and from Saucony.

These boots are amazing! I bought them to slush through the occasional rain and ton of snow we get here in the winter. I ordered a 7 (I wear an 8) and had to exchange them for a size 8 because I wanted to wear big socks with them. They are so cute and super comfy. Zappos was so helpful and great with my exchange! I love this company! I can't wait for my 8's to arrive so I can start wearing them ASAP.

My son has a wide foot and has several pairs of this shoe brand but for some reason this shoe is not as wide as the other types of Sauconys that we have had. If your child has a wide foot I do not recommend this shoe. After one time of wearing this shoe I had to buy another pair of sneakers because my son will not wear them.

First time buying this brand -
This was a new brand for us, but my 12 year old really liked the look of this shoe. I must say I am sold. It is a nice solid shoe and is wearing well. I will buy this brand again.

Wonderful shoe. Soft not stiff. My 5yr old wears a 4XW. I have always purchased Stride Rite shoes for him but now their 4XWs are not wide enough and are very hard/stiff. New Balance XW will not fit him either. I tried these and they fit perfect. They stretch and they make it easier for him to run and play because the shoes are pliable. Before when he ran he stomped, now these shoes allow him to really run. We have had them about a month and they are still going strong. I would highly recommend these shoes if your child has wide feet. I would also recommend Zappos, the customer service is excellent. I prefer shopping via Zappos than the mall, everything is hassle free.
