Amazingly light shoes -
I thought the box Zappos sent me was empty. These are by far the lightest shoes I have ever owned. Fit like a glove out of the box with no break in period. Because of the ultra-light sole, they almost feel like moccasins instead of dress shoes. Not a bad thing, but it's a bit different. I liked them so much I immediately bought a second pair.

Handsome sandal -
This is a great looking sandal, good leather, and very well made. Unfortunately, it runs at least a half-size larger than marked and my size is no longer available. Also, the heel is 4 1/4", so even if you subtract the tiny 1/4" platform, it is still high. The shoe is well balanced and sturdy, however, so if you can manage the heel, they would probably be comfortable to walk in.

I love Bally shoes and was heartbroken when they closed the store in San Francisco, but not to worry, Zappos to the rescue! As with all of my Bally shoes, put them on, wear them all night... perfect!

Stylish bag, lacks some functionality of a full service "brief," could have more slots/pockets. Shoulder strap is a low quality cloth that, in relatively short time, has already begun to look beaten up. Should definitely have a leather strap. Also, has no top handle, making bag difficult to hold if you are not using the shoulder strap (as in when placing it in car, or lifting off passenger seat of car).

Great shoe -
At first glance, the shoes were a bit more substantial than I had expected. The heel is not too fat though, so I wouldn't call them clunky. They are also lightweight and have a bit of cushion for the ball of your foot. Usually European shoes are a little narrow on me, but these were wider than I expected and so far feel just right. I usually wear 7 1/2 or 8, I got these in an 8 and they fit just right, but I have only worn them at the end of the day after lots of walking. The leather is super-soft and the back strap sits a little higher than usual, so I don't think it would rub uncomfortably. They are really beautifully made and I am so happy with them.

Ohh! So sexy!
This is such a sexy pump. This shoe makes your foot look sassy. I usually wear a size 10 but I ordered an 11 a size larger. I think the pointed toe makes the shoe smaller. Other than that, if I could have afforded a second pair, I would have purchased a second pair. Well worth the price.

Comfort and versatility - worth every penny -
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and the leather is super-soft. Versatility is the second great aspect: I wear them with a suit at work, and also out at night. I get compliments and no one notices they have rubber soles because they look like a polished cap-toe from the top. The only negative is I am wondering about the ability to re-sole them properly given the unique rubber pattern on the bottom of the shoe - you also probably want to use shoe trees to extend the life of the upper and avoid creasing. Nonetheless, I can tell already that the upper is going to last just as long as my Allen Edmunds and Tod's, which I care for in the same way (shoe trees and the occasional polish). I paid full price when these came out and they were still worth it.

Very nice shoes...high quality...look good, feel great. I always wanted a pair of Bally shoes and they didn't disappoint. Be sure to order 1/2 size smaller as they tend to run large. But Zappos was great about the exchange...had another pair to me the next day.

Bally Derlene Satchel: Yummy! Sumptous, substantial leather, 'weathered' through the tanning process so it's pliable, supple, yet has sufficient 'body' to stand upright on it's own. An incredibly indulgent luxury! Color is a rich, true camel, with a 'washed' look- slight variations in color, tanned all the way through deep into the leather- not really distinguishable- but just enough to give amazing depth & dimension to the gorgeous, flawless, rich looking leather. I like really large handbags, & even for me, this is quite a LARGE bag! No worries, it smooches down close to your side when carrying only a few items, or will easily expand to carry more. Sits VERY sturdily/solidly/comfortably on shoulder. Zipper appears VERY sturdy, operates smoothly. Very large, flat, platform floor- tons of storage capacity. Inside, 1 HUGE open compartment w/ LARGE, DEEP zip pocket, & 1 cell phone pocket (plus exterior zip pocket). Size- This bag would accommodate a small notebook PC (laptop); Would also be GREAT for a working Mom, carrying your lunch to work, extra shoes, child(s) snacks/sweater/change of clothes (child size only- not big enough to be an adult's overnight bag). Understated Gold-tone trim gives such a gorgeous, rich look. I LUV this bag, but decided I can't afford it! I'm returning it because it cost a small fortune. Plus, it really is just too large for me. If it's later offered at a (much) better clearance sale price, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! For now, I've found a smaller camel color bag (DKNY) at Zappos.com which I LUV, & will keep instead. Cute - But watch out for splitting wood.
I hate that these shoes did not work out. The multicolored straps and high (but not too high heel) worked great with jeans, dressy shorts and dresses/skirts. But near the toe and at the heel of the shoe, the wood splintered and chipped badly-- only after a few wears. Would not recommend.

Light, great for spring & summer -
I ordered these smaller because the description said it fit 1/2 size smaller. I have worn them for an hour, twice (two hours total) standing & walking around the whole time. For me that is my usual test and I'm good to go. There is some pressure on my toes but no blisters or true discomfort. I plan to wear them with jeans right away and in summer with linen trousers, skirt, dress, capri pants. I owned a pair of Bally shoes awhile ago and they were excellent. I find Italian shoes which are all leather are a good fit for me. Leather lining and footbed - in this case the sole is not applicable but it is a good rubber sole so has needed traction, which is needful with 4 1/4" heel. When I saw these are handmade I just could not resist any longer! I am so satisfied with Zappos service. This is the third pair of shoes I've ordered from Zappos. The other two are also good shoes and I'm satisfied with them. I ordered Levis ballet flats (Italian, all leather, hand made also) and walked around Disneyland all day with my husband and boys - I mean a full 8 hour day - with no blisters or serious discomfort.

I was very impressed with the quality of this bag!! I own many very High end bags and this will be a favorite for spring and summer because of the color white. I have been looking for a white bag for awhile now and for the price and quality of the Bally brand took a chance and I am very glad I did!! I live in New England area and really didn't feel I wanted to spend another small fortune on a bag that I would only use for 4 months. Try this brand if you’re a Handbag Diva like myself!!

I'm never buying cheap shoes again -
It was almost freaky how quickly Zappos delivered these shoes. Ordered at 9 p.m. one night and delivered before noon the next morning - but not a moment too soon. These shoes are beautiful and were instantly comfortable. I walk at least a mile a day in my dress shoes, the hazards of an urban environment, and I know I'll still be able to walk at the end of the day if I've worn these shoes.

The good: excellent fit and finish, high luster (not glossy) leather, comfortable shoe, looks loads better than a Cole Haan or other high end loafers. The perfect work/dress loafer...not too casual, and not too dressy.
The bad: the price...but hey, you only live once.

Ok, I loved the idea. But these are SO high. They have no hidden platform whatsoever and they are virtually impossible to walk in, unless you are a skilled model who struts in 6' heels. They didn't slip too badly on my heel and I thought they were a true fit. I almost kept them, but the practical side told me someone else should suffer!

These shoes are a wardrobe basic. Because of the reasonable heel height, they can actually be used for walking! They are flexible and make my feet, which are not the most beautiful of feet, look slender. I had some problems with sizes as the 38 was listed as an 8. Otherwise, they are lovely and classy. They have achieved what Cole Haan is trying to achieve and missing.

classy shoe with character -
I wanted a nice black pump with a bit of interest and this fit the bill. Nicely shaped toe--not too rounded, not too square, not too pointed--just the right blend of them all. Also, the gold button on the side is very eye-catching--very nice touch. Kitten shaped heel is not too high making this a comfortable yet dressy shoe. Only complaint is that it felt a little big. I normally wear a 10/41 and while this is a 41, it does feel about a half size larger.

This shoe is so sturdy. It holds up so well on the side walks of Washington, DC. It is worth every dollar that I paid. In fact, it is better constructed, than a pair of Ferragamo's that I used to wear for walking the side walks of DC.

This was going to be the last pair of black work pumps I was ever going to buy, so I bought a good pair. But I can't wear them yet because they are so tight. The top cuts across my foot in exactly the wrong place, making walking truly painful. They are beautiful shoes, extremely well made, but the stretchers are in them.
