I found just the boot I was looking for as a replacement for what my husband had been wearing. Timberland carried the boot on their site but for much more, plus I had to search their site much more extensively than yours to find it. Your shipment was very prompt, as I needed the boot for a birthday gift. My husband says, "Thank you!"

Not a good review, by far. 1st: tough fitting steel toe, the toe liked to hit the top of my foot when bending and walking, which makes for very painful foot after 8 hours of working in these. 2nd: I liked the style, and thought the brand name would hold up. I am disappointed with the craftsmanship and price. 3rd: Look at the right shoe, where the external arch support is located; the outer material has pulled away from the rubber arch support. There's no stitching or reinforcement to note & this failure has spread into a 3 inch gap. I will throw these shows out and stay away from the brand in the future. For the price I will go back to Skechers or Docs. This occurred in less then 12 months, not very long for a "PRO" styled shoe for a 30'ish year old man that works inside a hospital for a career.

The most comfortable Timberland shoes I have ever worn. No break in period. The titanium toe is unnoticeably light and the toe box is very roomy. You don't even notice you have these shoes on, which is the way it should be. My only complaint is that the laces could have been a little nicer, maybe even with steel tips to prevent fraying. But those can be replaced inexpensively if you so choose.

Keep trying to find a shoe that works for me. I work in the hospital by day and retail at night. I am on my feet pretty much all day. These shoes fit very well and my legs don't hurt when I get home at night. I like them very much.

Yes, you will like this shoe. It fits perfectly right out of the box. It feels good to stand in for long hours. I'm on my feet 40+ hours a week at work and this shoe really helps keep the pain to a minimum. You can buy this one with confidence.

First, let me say that I love Zappos for their speed and service. Secondly, in regards to these shoes, as a pastry chef who is on her feet many hours a day and have had to leave the world of chef clogs, I find these shoes to be a pretty good choice of shoe. They have helped me physically with some knee pain that I was experiencing from my chef clogs. They are not the absolute best in the slip resistance department, but it is manageable.

This steel toe shoe ranks about a 7 in my 1-10 scale. The shoe laces are not my favorite. I prefer a solid color so I replaced the laces with my own. Also, I'm not favorable of a shoe that the front toe of the shoe raises up a bit, this causes the foot to angle up at the front, hmm, why is that? It's the way it was made. I think next time I order, I prefer a boot, it provides the full and proper protection. The higher boot or shoe provides better wear and protection in a job such as mine on the flight line which puts my feet on a hard concrete surface.

Horrible Overall -
I found these shoes to be entirely too tight. The part above your toes is incredibly hard to break in. The worst part was the size, one size was too large and one size was too small. I returned the larger size and suffered with smashed toes on the smaller size. Not a good shoe.

I like these shoes. They are very comfortable to stand in all day. The only problem for me is the top back of the shoe rubs on my ankle and has worn the skin down. The shoe is very stiff and is like sandpaper. Whoever deigned these does not wear them. They are nice, but the rubbing on the ankle makes it so I can only wear them a few times a week.

 | | Thank you very much... I just went to the door and there were my beautiful new blue slides. I can't believe I received them less than 24 hours after I ordered them. Service, service, service. Your people know what is the most important thing to do to bring customers back time after time after time. You can have an excellent product, but if the customer doesn't feel important, it makes no difference what one is selling. Too bad more people in the business world don't apply
