The Lucchese story starts in 1880 when Sam Lucchese Sr. and his brothers came to America. He was just 17 years old at the time, but Lucchese knew he wanted to be a boot maker. Just three years later, the Lucchese Boot Company was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 1960 the founder’s grandson and namesake took over the family business and decided to rethink the art of boot making. Sam Lucchese Jr.’s fascination and understanding of the human foot inspired him to create a boot design that fit like no other. Although Lucchese’s one of a kind boot last design required more skill and time, the result was a boot that quickly gained national recognition for its extraordinary comfort, quality and fit.

Sweet Boots -
This is my first pair of Lucchese boots and WOW! It makes my other cowboy boots, although good quality, look like I bought at a low end store. None of my friends believe that they were brand new as they feel and look like I had them forever. They were pointier at the toe than I feel the picture portrayed. Besides that, the quality is excellent! I'm hooked!

Cute boot, comfy bright bright pink. Will look cute in the spring with denim skirt or long white prairie kind of skirt.
Too bright for the winter unless you live in a warm climate, then dig in...

Keen Pacifica vs. Keen Lisbon. I bet many of those shopping for Pacifica had exactly the same choice as I did. What to go with: Pacifica & Lisbon. Both are "casual sneakers" (with Pacifica more resembling mocs) looking somewhat similar much due to Keen's distinctive design. I've been now having Lisbon for a good three months and god Pacifica just few days ago so I can compare. They feel much the same: both a low profile which is nice as far as I am concerned though I am afraid the soles won't last long. You literally have 1/8" of a rubber - the rest is the insole. Both Pacifica and Lisbon are the same in this respect. Lisbon has a look which is slightly more appropriate in situations when you perhaps wouldn't wear sports shoes but not yet think of something dressier. I'd compare them more with moccasins than sneakers, to which Lisbon truly belongs. My feet probably feel a little more air in Pacifica if you know what I mean. I really feel hot in Lisbon. I'd also say Lisbon is more like a fall/spring style while Pacifica is good for the summer. I do like suede and nubuck though I bet Pacifica will get lots of dirt which will be harder to get rid of. Lisbon instead features a somewhat different material that doesn't require lots of your attention. As you probably realize, both are extremely comfortable, look nice though most of time I'd go with Lisbon. Perhaps, this is one of the reasons Keen has now discontinued Pacifica. My summary: both are nice to have. If you want to go with just one go with Lisbon.

I have major foot problems, have about 10 pair of custom orthotics - all in the hopes of finding that pair that does the trick...I own both Justin and Tony Lama boots and these are by far the most comfortable - the first wearing of 3 hours hurt a little, but the next day I am pain free! This is huge for me. These boots ARE twice the price of my Justin's or Lama's but worth it. I hope they wear well, I'll soon find out.

The most comfortable boots - Thanks to Zappos easy and hassle free return policy, I was able to try several pairs of Lucchese boots before finding my exact size. These boots are beautiful and they were comfortable from the first moment I tried them on. I'm a school teacher, on my feet all day, and the first day I wore them for 10 hours. Absolutely comfortable beyond my greatest expectations. I normally wear size 8 in shoes and boots--I needed a 7 1/2 WIDE in these--perfect fit, support, comfort, and looks.

Nice belt - This is a well constructed, good looking belt that can be worn casual or dress. The belt runs short in length, and although they instruct you to order 2 sizes larger, I would order it 3 or 4 sizes larger than your waist size.

Gorgeous boots! I own several pair of Lucchese, and these are, hands down, my most beautiful pair. The color is a distressed, honey brown, and the stitching is not over the top but subtle. As far as comfort, these aren't as comfy as my tan mad dog goat pair, but they are Luccheses, so they are by no means uncomfortable. This pair is not as narrow and seems to be actually longer in length, but not enough to warrant a smaller size, just maybe a thicker sock. I am so happy with them and glad I ordered them. The sale price is great too. I only buy my shoes from Zappos so when they put shoes on sale, I take notice for sure!

Ultimate in comfort! I purchased these only after having the same boot in the lighter brown for over a year. These are almost as comfy. This pair, the black ones, seems to run a bit smaller. They were very narrow at first, but they have stretched and molded to fit my foot after several days of continuous wear. I am a true size 8, and that is what I faithfully buy in Luccheses as well. The only complaint I have about this pair of boots, is the comedy route of taking them off. I can barely pull them off on my own. Trust me though, it is not enough to make me stop wearing them. Lucchese are the ultimate in comfort!

This is my fourth pair of Lucchese cowgirl boots, so I guess that says it all. The 1880 version is somewhat narrower, so they are perfect for my AA width. This is a true blue company, the workmanship, leather, finishing is always top quality. They feel and look as good right out of the box as they do seasons later!!!

Amazing Boots - Everywhere I go I get compliments on these boots. I live in cowboy boots so these are a welcome addition. My last pair has finally given up the ghost after much repair work on the soles, the top finally wore out. Zappos was great at rushing out the boots and keeping me notified of my order progress. The boots fit right out of the box and could be worn that first day. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone that loves a great boot with fine workmanship. Cheers to Zappos.

Fabulous Boots! I love my new boots! They literally fit like a glove. I have a narrow foot, and am not sure they would work for someone with a wide foot. The leather is fine, soft, and beautiful. These are one of the best things I have bought in years. 5 stars all the way around.

Very comfortable and stylish -
I should have bought some of these a long time ago. These are not only really old-fashioned in a timeless kind of way (leather soles, amazing quality) but very comfortable. Not so much in a walk-20-miles way, but in a drive your car/ride your bike/stay out late way. At first, you're amazed at how they are more comfortable than many of your other shoes. Then, you forget you have them on.
That said, these are primitive shoes. They don't have much padding on the ball of your foot, and require walking a bit differently than you may be used to. Most guys aren't used to the somewhat tall heel and that took some getting used to. These are non-idea on uneven surfaces due to low-traction soles and pointy toes-- walking down a slippery hill or on cobblestones takes some work.
