This is a great little bag, lightweight with a long over-the-head shoulder strap. It has several zippered compartments for storing money and credit cards, yet is was large enough to hold a couple of Reader's Digests for the plane trip.

I bought the black/gray wool version of this purse, and I love it! It\'s big enough to hold my daily agenda, wallet, phone, etc., but not so big that it\'s uncomfortable wearing across my shoulder. Not so sure how the non-fabric bits will hold up, but time will tell.

Love this backpack. I have the Contra in bright green. Love the color. Bag has plenty of space, used it for a weekend trip out of town. Felt good on the shoulders for doing a decent amount of walking. My wife has the coffee color of this backpack and she loves it as well.

This is one of the best man shoulder bags or cross body bags in existence. The intricacy and placement of all the pockets is ingenious. The flap on the front, with just the touch of leather, is soothing to the hand, if your hand brushes across it, and the little click point clasp lock that anchors the front flap is like the gear on a Mercedes. I pray that the people who make this bag will make a version of it in autumn colors and fabrics.

Killer style. Great architecture that keeps your laptop safe and secure, as well as whatever else you throw in it. The design is overall very comfortable, a little stiff, but that really keeps the thing strapped to you if your are hiking long distances or running through an airport to catch your flight. The only downfall of this backpack is the pocket space. The 1 large pocket contains a kind of shell that protects everything within that pocket, but makes it a little hard to stuff other items into the small pockets. But if you're packing light or for business, you can't beat this. The black version is superrad too with fluorescent orange interior.

Awesome product, horrible service! I have been a Zappos.com shopper since 2007, but after their Amazon partnership it has become a very bad company. I ordered this product on July 23rd, using the 5-day shipping, and after a very long wait, I got it today (July 30th). My previous orders were pretty fast on shipping, but that is long gone. I guess that Zappos.com "Free Shipping" is going the way of the ill-fated "Super Saver Shipping" of Amazon. Very disappointed.

Not so padded laptop compartment -
I really like this bag, my only problem with it is that the laptop compartment isn't really padded. The only padding is on the back of the bag, but the laptop compartment itself isn't padded. Other than that, it's great and it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I love all the pockets as well.

I bought this bag in the bright blue and have been pretty happy with it. I love the little outside pocket where I keep my keys (I only have 3 on a small ring/keychain; anything bigger would never fit). There’s an inside pocket with a velcro flap to keep my cellphone easily accessible and a zipper pocket where I keep a few make-up items. It’s roomy and lightweight. The blue is VERY bright royal blue, which I happen to like. The material looks "straw" like in the photos, but it’s very soft.

The bag seems cute and stylish, but the straps are too small to fit comfortably on the shoulder or one will continuously slip off. The inside should be marvelous to store wet items like bathing suits and towels. As an Aquatic Fitness Instructor, this is exactly what I purchased it for. However, the OUTSIDE of the bag will quickly become soaking wet, leaving your inside items (not in the plastic pouch) protected, but anything else you happen to place the bag nearby a total mess. Not expecting this defect, I ruined two books. As if all that was not bad enough, when the bag becomes wet repeatedly, exactly as it was INTENDED, the pattern peels off and looks horrible. I would NOT suggest purchasing this item and would happily return it if I could.

This is the bag of my dreams! I carry this as an everyday bag - to work, the gym, the bar - anywhere. I'm never searching for my phones, thanks to the pockets on the front and inside, my keys and chapstick and change stay zipped in the large pocket, and my wallet and day-timer are always easy to find. The strap is wide enough to be comfortable and stay on your shoulder, but not so wide that you feel like you are carrying a backpack. I bought this in "Three Hole Punch" and it goes well with everything. Even my male co-workers have complimented me on this bag!

I love this purse!
This is everything I had hoped for. It has plenty of pockets, which is what I look for because I hate digging around in my purse looking for something. I had a smaller purse, but I wanted something that I could carry around foldable grocery bags (I’m trying to be green). It has room for two of them - sunglasses, meds, wallet, and more. It's made out of thick material, which does make it a bit heavier than I expected. I would order Gravis Willa and this purse again and again.

I bought this bag to be my carry-on for when I travel. It's just about perfect. There are lots of pockets (big and small) for organizing your gear, and it's lined with a bright yellow waterproof fabric, so you can see everything (no black hole) and can clean it up if something spills. The only gripe I have is that the straps are not sized for women, so it's not 100% comfortable on the shoulders. I tried two other backpacks before buying this one, and it was definitely the clear winner for size and versatility.

Perfect bag -
I looked for months for the perfect bag - something roomy but not overwhelming and sturdy but stylish. This is great, big enough to carry everything I need for the day - e.g. planner, makeup bag, notebook, a couple files for work, bottle of water, snacks, and a cardigan. And it's totally cute and unique (I got the army green w/ orange lining). I didn't want another hobo bag like everyone else has. My only complaints: needs more pockets and a closure on top. 1 zipper pocket and 2 open pockets still make it difficult to find stuff in such a large bag. I will probably sew a zipper or at least a snap on top myself. Also it's kind of heavy, which doesn't bother me (I really wanted something sturdy) but might bother someone else.

If being organized is important to you...
I'm very delighted with the Gravis Willa bag -- and now my 17 year old daughter wants one, too!
ELEMENTS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO ME:
- adjustable strap can convert the bag to a cross-the-body sling or to shoulder bag style,
- several compartments for excellent organizational capabilities,
- a neutral, but not dull color, not just black or white (mine is rock/mango),
- roomy, but not bulky,
- cannot be mistaken for a diaper bag!
- quality stitching
- zipper pulls/hardware that do not look cheap
SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT:
- add a swiveling mechanism to both rings holding the strap to the bag, for a more comfortable angle to the strap when using the bag in an across-the-body position,
- move the little decorative tab that hangs over the frontmost compartment, so it does not block the zipper motion. Perhaps placing it just below the zipper line would work. I do like the touch of color it adds.

I got this bag for work. I carry lots of books, laptop, and stuff; it holds it all and keeps it organized and accessible. Very sturdy and comfortable. I also chose this because I have started to ride a scooter and this will help to keep me visible at night. I love this bag.

Bought this in green for my elderly mom because she can not carry a heavy bag. She loves it. It's very stylish-I might get one for myself-lightweight, great quality and good sections inside. Perfect size, not bulky but not too small either.

Decent pack suits me well...
Purchased this pack after trying a couple others and this has been the best fit for my 17" widescreen laptop (HP Pavilion DV9000 series) of any so far. Planning to keep this and wear it out. The design is minimal in style and I like that it doesn't scream "I'm carrying a laptop!" like so many other bags.
Overall, the pack is great. However, it receives two demerits for the following:
1) The material is thin and I have doubts as to its durability over the long term. There have been no problems thus far, but I won't be surprised if a seam pulls out or if the integrity is compromised by a minor incident.
2) The padding on the side which is pressed against the back (when wearing both straps) is quite thick and comfortable enough, but does not provide enough air-flow as many other packs do. This will not be an issue for you if you're a casual wearer, but should you need to strap down for any distance this may cause discomfort as your body heat is trapped between you and the padding.
Overall, again, this is a great pack and I'm glad to have purchased. And as always, Zappos has been great to buy from!

This bag is perfect for busy moms or people on the go. I am not a mom but I travel a lot and this bag has many convenient compartments in it to organize and separate as needed. I am never fumbling through my purse because I know exactly where everything is and that is a new one for me. The bag comes with an adjustable strap and is easy to cross body.

The bag holds up to a 15 inch laptop and has quite a few easily accessible (Velcro and zipper closing) pockets for all my stuff. The detachable shoulder strap is comfortable and adjustable enough for petites (I'm 5'3"). Most importantly for me, it is almost weightless. Padding on the bottom is thicker than others I've looked at, and sides appears to be adequate. Finishing is excellent and all closings work smoothly. All in all, a terrific laptop bag. I bought it in the cream and brown and it's really nice looking for what it is.
And as usual, terrific service and choice from Zappos!

Really like this tote. Great red color. Not super comfortable as a shoulder bag, but it holds a lot of stuff. I use it for the gym. Better than the bag is Zappos' amazing customer service.
