Tough shoe survived all summer with my little shoe destroyer. This shoe is sturdy! We live on a lake and this shoe was worn daily in and out of the water. Was perfect for my little guy who goes back and forth between the lake and running around the yard. His feet were well protected from sharp rocks and any glass that may be on the lake bottom, and they had enough support that he didn't need to change shoes if he decided to get out and ride his bike or play soccer or climb trees. These shoes really got a workout, but are still in great shape. Great investment if you typically enjoy the ability to use 'hand-me-downs' in your family. I'm guessing these would survive 3 summers with ease. Another bonus: no stinky feet with these.

Great shoes for an active boy! These look good and are rugged shoes for school/play. Love the fact that a 5-6 year old can put them on himself. Just wish the cords were a little shorter. He ends up tucking them in by the toes!

Great boots! I bought these for my 21 month old because I didn't want something too clunky that he couldn't get around easily in. I even bought a size too large in case his foot grows before winter's over, and he can run around in them just fine. They have warm insulation, and are easy to get on and off. Love these boots!

I\\\'ve been really happy with these shoes from the day they arrived! I\\\'d been hesitant about paying so much for little girls\\\' shoes, but to me it\\\'s worth it to pay more for high quality. Now I feel confident that no matter what the weather (rainy, snowy, cold), my daughter\\\'s feet will be warm and dry. These shoes are even easy to run in! She wears them on P.E. days and has no problem. She loves them! I\\\'ll definitely be buying Keen shoes in the future. And Zappos got them to me so quickly and efficiently. I\\\'m very happy with the whole experience!

Love the shoes! My 10 year old son purchased these for a wilderness trip, but wears them to school every day as well. They are great for PE; as good as sneakers and pass the dress code requirements for closed toe and heel. He can wear them in cooler weather with socks. My only "con" is that they have a powerful offgassing smell that has diminished with time, but was almost unbearable at first. Kind of like rubber/urine smell. Love them so much I think "pros" are well worth the initial stink.

I was looking for a comfortable shoe for my 3rd grade son. Uggs are slightly feminine and crocs are for littler ones. I tried these and he loves them! They are comfortable, look good with jeans/khakis and he doesn\'t have to tie them!

These shoes are great! They are stylish and rugged! My 4 year old son loves them. The shoes are flexible even with the thick sole. My son has had many different Keen shoes and they always perform well. Also, thanks to Zappos for getting them to us in 3 days, though we thought it would take a week!

Attention ladies who have a small enough foot to wear kid sized Keens like me. The soles on some of the kids Keens are different. Thinner, softer, more flexible. Which is good for monkey bar climbing or tree climbing, but not so good for all day wearing as a big girl. I love Keens, but these are not the same as the adult version.

These shoes are made for everything a girl can dish out on the playground, trail or front yard, but she still looks like a princess in her tights and jeans! My daughter loves these shoes and wears them every day. Typically, her other dressy shoes end up scuffed around the toes, but these shoes still look brand new after months of heavy wear indoors and out. Unlike other \'cute\' shoes, the Keens give her toes plenty of breathing room and are comfortable for her to run around the park for hours. It\'s a dressy shoe, an athletic shoe and an all-weather shoe in one!

My son is 5 and wanted a pair of Velcro shoes. We were not in love with any of the sneaker offerings and were also looking for a brown shoe that could be worn with jeans and casual dress pants. I love my Keen Austins and this kids pair killed 2 birds with one stone. He can get them on and off by himself (when the mood strikes him, he's 5 after all). The Velcro is easy to adjust and holds tight leaving a securely fastened shoe on his feet. Each pair of shoes is "faster" than the pair it replaced and these do not disappoint in traction and durability. The rounded rubber toe helps to protect the top side of the shoe for when kids are crawling around on the ground. (My son has destroyed the stitching on the toes of other shoes before the treads even started to show signs of wear.)

Love these! We have bought them in several colors and many sizes. They are perfect for my little guy's chubby foot. Run a bit small so I usually order a full size bigger so I don't have a hard time getting them on him. He is a true 11 right now and the 12 is a bit big, but he is wearing them fine and hopefully they will make it until summer and I will get another pair! I even throw them in washer to keep them smelling good. Wear well with the rubber toe, too.

We love these shoes! They have lasted for months and still seem brand new. Great support for our little guy's chubby feet. The shoes seem comfortable and look cute. Highly recommend; great price for a super pair of shoes. We will buy them again in a bigger size when he grows out of his current size. Thanks Zappos!
