These are great shoes. My sons wear them as an alternative to tennis shoes and sandals for the summer. They wear like iron and are easy-to-clean. The type with the Velcro closure are easy for even young kids to manage (my boys began wearing them at 4 years of age). The covered toe keeps toes protected. The width can be adjusted using the toggle. They don\'t work the greatest as pool shoes because they can be hard for little ones to slip on with wet feet, but overall they\'re a very versatile shoe.

These are fantastic shoes for kids. My daughter loves that she can put them on by herself, so do I! Very cute and durable, easy to clean and she has never complained about them being uncomfortable or making her feet hurt. She has wide feet and these are perfect for kids with wide feet; I would think a narrow foot would not fit as well in these. So, this was a great buy for us! As always I am very pleased. We have been ordering from Zappos for years, and love the service and quality shoes.

My son was thrilled when he learned that there were Keen shoes and not just sandals! He loves his sandals! I was worried about the Keen stink so I made him promise to wear socks. We love the shoes. He wears them every day. My only complaint is that they are a little hard to get on.

I am a huge Keen lover, as is my son. However, the bungee cord lacing on this pair of shoes is too long, and he hates trying to figure out what to do with the extra because he does not like to leave them just sticking up, and there is too much to "tuck in."

Ordered these shoes for my 7 year old daughter. We've had them about 3 weeks now and so far so good! They are extremely durable while still being cute enough to satisfy my first grade fashionista. They are also non-marking so she can wear them on gym class days. I found them to be true to size, but a bit wide. The velcro strap allows us to cinch them up, but would love to see them come in a narrow width.

These are great shoes for little kids. My 4-year-old son can put them on by himself. We bought them for hiking shoes and my son wore them when we walked into a moutain lake and he never had any problems. They have great traction and are comfortable. I will keep buying Keens for my children from Zappos as the stand behind their products.

These shoes have worked very well for my son. He wore Crocs all summer long, and these are nice and warm. The only problem he has had was that the insole piled up and now irritates his bare foot.

I love Keen shoes for kids. They are a bit more than I usually spend on shoes for my kids, but so worth it. These shoes are indestructible. Great shoe for where we live since we get lots of winter snow and it's hard for the kids to wear clunky snow boots to school. Winter has just begun here and my kids are putting these on every day, comfortable right out of the box. I was skeptical about the "waterproof" part, but I have say that while on a hike over the holiday we encountered some water. Of course, my daughter was in the water up to her ankles in 2 minutes. This didn't seem to bother her. She hiked all the way back to the car and we doubtfully checked her feet to see if they were honestly dry. Yep, they were dry and warm, no lie. I will buy these shoes every year.

My girly-girl, who usually has to have pink everything, picked these out for her new athletic shoes. She loves polar bears. Keen likes to give our feet lots of room and these adorable sneakers are no exception. She has near 13.5 size and these fit with a bit of toe room, will fit into size 1. All of us who try to keep up with our children's rapidly growing feet can appreciate this.

This is my son's 3rd year in a row of getting these shoes! Great for boys! They are great, look great, hold up great, wash in the machine great, everything great! We even buy Keen sandals in the summer. I like the fun colors, but my son had a pair of black Keen sandals this summer and they were so sharp, I wish they made black in the shoes. The brown is a good color too. My son wears a uniform to school so the the more traditional shoe colors look great even as school shoes! Zappos is great also, fast and seem to always have in stock what I need!

Tough shoe survived all summer with my little shoe destroyer. This shoe is sturdy! We live on a lake and this shoe was worn daily in and out of the water. Was perfect for my little guy who goes back and forth between the lake and running around the yard. His feet were well protected from sharp rocks and any glass that may be on the lake bottom, and they had enough support that he didn't need to change shoes if he decided to get out and ride his bike or play soccer or climb trees. These shoes really got a workout, but are still in great shape. Great investment if you typically enjoy the ability to use 'hand-me-downs' in your family. I'm guessing these would survive 3 summers with ease. Another bonus: no stinky feet with these.

Great shoes for an active boy! These look good and are rugged shoes for school/play. Love the fact that a 5-6 year old can put them on himself. Just wish the cords were a little shorter. He ends up tucking them in by the toes!

Great boots! I bought these for my 21 month old because I didn't want something too clunky that he couldn't get around easily in. I even bought a size too large in case his foot grows before winter's over, and he can run around in them just fine. They have warm insulation, and are easy to get on and off. Love these boots!
