Impressive Shoe -
These are really comfortable and supportive shoes - I wore them immediately right out of the box on a 6 mile trail walk. Montrails generally work well for me - I like the fit and feel for walking and off road hiking. This is my 3rd pair of Montrail shoes. I didn't particularly like the color scheme - apparently you have only the one choice.

Perfect!
For the last several years I've purchased Merrells for most of my foot wear. When my last pair fell apart, I checked the feedback on Montrail. I have a high arch and have had several foot surgeries, but they can pry these flip flops off my cold dead body. These are perfect! I can wear them all day without any discomfort or tired legs and they are very attractive. Highly recommend.

These boots dry quick, unlike the cheap socks I brought with them, lol. Eighteen miles the first day and not a single blister, even though I neglected to break them in. Great traction, except on mossy rocks in the middle of streams, which I hiked on for 3 days straight. Only twisted my ankle 3 times in 30 days, but more due to my fatigue. Light on your feet too for long strenuous hikes when your pack is burdensomely heavy and you don’t want your feet to be so also!

I liked the Vitesse enough that I wanted to buy another but - I can wear a reg width 9 1/2 or 10. In the Vitesse I needed a 10 1/2. It fits perfectly in the back. The toe box too is perfect for me. Toe box allows toes to move.

Best I've ever owned!!
I have throughout the years purchased sandals made by at least a dozen companies. OluKai, Reef, Oakley, Teva, Nike, just to name a few. None of which could come close to measuring up to the Montrail Illikai. First the heat molding, genius. I also have a wide foot and these sandals fit perfectly. My only complaint is that I couldn't buy and still can't find the black pair in my size.

Nice casual footwear - All in all these are a pretty nice value. I wear a size 15 and they seemed to run a little on the small side. The right unit does not seem to track straight. I'm not quite sure how to state that. Otherwise, I'll stop whining, I like them.

Great Flip-flop -
I have fallen arches, but love wearing slip-on shoes (a deadly combination). These are the first flip-flops that I have ever tried that give me enough arch support. I wear them multiple hours a day and my feet don't hurt!

I enjoy my Maui sandals, they are very comfortable and have good support for flat feet. I also like the PRFRM that you put in the oven. In the instructions they didn't mention to preheat the oven or not, but I did and it seemed to do no harm. I really enjoy how I just put them on and I don't need to tighten them down. My shoe size is 14 men.

Best Flip Flops For Bad Feet -
I have had 9 foot surgeries and had almost given up on wearing flip flops for longer than an hour at a time. These are so comfortable and supportive that I wear them all the time. If you are considering it... just dive in and order!

I just finished the Leadville 100 trail race in this shoe. I ran the fist 70 miles in the Brooks Cascadia. Conditions were very muddy (hail and rain). Both shoes are excellent. I have wide feet (D/E) and was happy with both shoes.

Best flip flops ever!
Love these so much that I ordered a second pair and I am looking into getting the shoes for winter. With Planter Fasciitis, I pretty much was dreading summer and the need for "flip flops". These flips have removed that feeling and totally rock. Put them in the oven and stand in ‘em for a bit and they fit like a glove, providing the support needed for summer festivals and shopping. They fit so well AFTER doing the oven fitting and wearing them for 2 days. Until then, they feel a bit snug, but have no fear, they will be the best flip flops ever.

Sandals Review -
I like the sandals very much. They are comfortable and stylish. I need good arch support in my shoes and my new sandals gave me excellent support. After I placed my sandals in the oven, as instructed, then putting them on and standing to shape the arch support, I was very satisfied how they turned out.

I ordered a pair of Montrail Streak trail shoes and wore them casually day-to-day, on short walks in the mountains, around town here (1.5-3.5 miles), and longer walks while camping. The shoes were very comfortable and light – I liked them! After the first month, I noticed the tread lifting on each shoe on the inside back corner, about 3/8 of an inch. I just went ahead and repaired them with Shoe Goo. But after another month I noticed that one of the braided loops on the right hand shoe that holds the shoe string was broken, and the tread started to depart again, now about ½ inch. I was amazed these shoes started to fail so soon under light use! But Zappos cheerfully took the shoes back and gave me credit and I'm ordering another pair – of some other brand.

I am so happy with my Montrails. I have never been able to wear the "go aheads" as there was such little support and they seemed so flat. But, these are super comfortable, and I feel stable in them. I even got a pair for my daughter-in-law who is pregnant, and she also thinks they are wonderful.

Great All Day Sandal -
Overall a fabulous sandal. I generally go barefoot in the house, but found wearing these sandals is actually much more comfortable... and probably better for my feet. My feet are a tad on the wide side. Don’t need to go so far as buying wide widths, but have to look for a shoe with a fuller cut. Although this sandal works perfectly for me, it may not be suitable for people with narrow feet. I gave a "4" for look because the base of the sandal is a bit clunky looking. Definitely a good casual looking sandal for wearing out and about town/beach/errands, but not one I would wear out to a nicer function (i.e. restaurant). I did find that the sandals squeak a bit for the first day wearing it. This goes away quickly as your foot molds the footbed. I have not yet heated the sandal for custom molding as suggested... did not feel the need to.

Strange fit...
I found them hard to walk in, the back heel seemed like my foot was going to fall off the edge, as if, the shoe was going sideways each time I took a step. Of course maybe I have a funny walk, although I am a runner and usually I know good technique, in placing my feet on the ground. And the strap gave my foot a good burn. I think I am getting use to them; I have to wait for my foot to heal.

Love these!
Again, after trying many, many other brands and styles, these are the ones I kept. Let me stop here and THANK Zappos for putting up with my many returns. I won't shop anywhere else! These are soft and roomy and were comfortable right off the bat. I wish the footbed were a bit sturdier, it's a bit soft, so I doubt I'd use these for major walking, but they are very comfortable with no break in period.

I have just received my third pair on Montrail Molokini's. They are the most comfortable shoe I have worn. I alternate colors and I wear them all the time. I wish there was a "closed" shoe that could be heated and molded like this to wear in the winter.

I really liked the idea of these thongs with the heat shaped base. And while they are comfortable, they are very wide and as a result, they look a little big and chunky. Fun for the house, but not a great look for going out.

Great shoe--cook it!
I bought this shoe b/c I wanted a non-leather thong to get wet in the shallows of the Sound w/ my dog. It is a great water-shoe for this use--plus, if you put it in the oven for the right amount of time, then stand securely on the soles, your exact foot contours get imprinted. Fantastically comfortable--cute too!

Good For Plantar Fasciitis -
Great combination of support and flexibility. The bottoms of my feet feel protected from over-flexing and from supinating while the top of my feet are allowed to flex and move as they should. Seem to promote proper alignment of my feet, ankles, knees, and hips. Very reliable traction. Accommodate OTC arch supports. Feels just slightly shorter than size 11 usually feels to me, therefore 4 instead of 5 stars.

Montrail Hardrock is a winner -
These shoes, hands down, give me more walking support than any others I've tried (and, believe me, I've sampled most of them). They are comfortable to the point that I don't realize I'm wearing shoes, and because I have bunions that's unusual for me. I severely sprained an ankle in early June, and these shoes are the best possible prescription for healing. I'm a fan for live.

I had been unable to find comfortable trail shoes for my skinny feet and while shopping Zappos for my daughter I checked out these Montrails. Thanks to the very helpful and informative reviews by previous customers, I learned these would be more likely than most to give me the comfort and support I need in a sturdy but light and breathable trail shoe. I also learned that I should order at least the next half size larger, which I did. At first I thought they were still going to be too short, but after I got them all laced up and started wearing them, I felt they were fine. I just returned from an 8 day hiking trip in the Swiss Alps, where it was unseasonable warm. My feet had a tendency to swell in the heat and higher altitudes but even with all day trekking, these shoes remained delightfully comfortable. The traction on trails, loose rocks and concrete was unerringly responsive and my feet never seemed to sweat or feel weighted down. Even though I had only been wearing them for about a week prior to going on my trip, they did not rub or chafe in any area. I highly recommend these shoes for those who might have slim feet.
Once again, Zappos, and their satisfied customers enabled me to find the right shoe for my skinny foot needs!

Thank you for being so awesome! Yesterday I ordered several pair of shoes and to my absolute delight and surprise they all arrived today! Next week I am starting a new job and I needed some new and stylish shoes. I expected that they would arrive after I had started my
job...but they are here already...thank you! To top it all off I have a hard to find size of women's 4 1/2. Typically I go to department stores and find nothing at all; and am told to go look in the kids department; I often wonder if they are kidding...since when do kids wear a three and a half inch heel???
