Cute shoe but...
Not the most comfortable shoe. The toes are scrunched and the inside leather is somewhat irritating - not soft enough. I love the look of the shoe so I wear it, and I ordered a wide size and does not feel as wide as it should.

I can't usually wear heels, but these are so stable and comfortable...I'm in heels again! I have a wide foot and narrow heel...these fit and make my size 10's look smaller...Love 'em!!!

Makes me feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz -
(Even though these shoes don't sparkle!) I was looking for something that had a retro look to go with a retro style dress. This shoe fits the bill and has a very modern shaped heel. The heel is wide enough to offer great support but still high to make you feel sexy in it. I had to order a half size larger, but I had not shopped for heels for quite some time. I need a narrow width which makes it difficult to find shoes, but these will work out just fine. I haven't worn them out of the house yet, the event is coming up, but I'm going to look great in them.

Best shoe ever!
This is the most comfortable shoe that I own with a heel. I've been having problems with my feet and these feel great. They look incredible. I've also gotten many compliments on them. I can wear them with jeans and a t-shirt or a skirt and blouse. I also have to mention the shipping is outstanding with Zappos!! Many thanks.

The MOST comfortable shoe EVER -
My husband surprised me these shoes after I tried them on in the store and loved them. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn, especially for a heel. I wear a wide, and the 8W fit perfect right out of the box. I wore them all day at work, and normally my shoes are the first thing that come off when I get home, but I've still got these on. No complaints here. They're sexy too! I highly recommend these shoes!

Cutouts in an odd position for my foot -
These shoes are adorable in the box. The brown patent leather is rich, shiny, a great color. The toe box is just rounded enough to be very comfortable, all around styling is great.
If only this shoe didn't have cutouts! The larger outside cutout landed on my foot in a very strange place. The "peep toe" effect from the cutout exposed exactly half of the toenail of my fourth toe -- how weird is that? If only skin was showing, it would have been okay, but can you imagine how odd this would look even without painted toenails?
Dear Sofft: please make this exact same shoe in a version with no cutouts, and I will buy it immediately.
If you like the look of the shoe, it would be worthwhile to give it a try and hope that the cutouts match up with your feet in a more harmonious manner. I have rather wide feet with fairly short toes. Perhaps this design would work better if your feet and toes are more sleek and narrow?

Nice shoe but not too comfy -
I debated whether to keep the shoe or not and finally wore it to work one day. The first hour was ok, but the toe became very uncomfortable after about 2 hours. I will try to break them in over the next few weeks. Nice looking shoe though, maybe they will work out with time.

My feet got eat!
I so love these shoes and they go perfectly with this awesome brown dress I recently bought... However, these are the most painful pair of shoes I think I have ever worn. I was so disappointed because I wanted them to be perfect. I have wide feet, but I have good luck with a W in general. These shoes were so unbelievably narrow. I wore them out clubbing for my birthday, and (despite having a few drinks, ha!) my feet were killing me so badly that it kind of put a damper on the evening. My toes felt like they had been crushed. As others have mentioned, the arch support is in a strange place and felt uncomfortable. The heels are extremely stiff and I had enormous blisters on the back of my heels by the end of the night. It took six weeks for the blisters to fully heel, that's how deep they rubbed. For what it's worth, I wear an 8 or 8.5 in shoes. So, to get a size 10 is something I've never done. These shoes are just so cute; I want to make it work!

Great look, but can rub the wrong way -
After purchasing the brown patent, I received more compliments on this shoe than I have any other in recent past. I have it in black patent too but the brown really sparkles. The sole and heel are great as far as being soft and flexible, but the uppers (on both pairs) have rubbed the top of my big toe by the first joint. Not enough to cause blisters or serious discomfort. I have worn them to do serious walking (1-2 miles during the day) and they do well but for these spots. Well worth it--they make my feet and legs look great--and draw those compliments...

Cute sandal for dress and casual. Wish the suede footbed extended to the toes, because my little toe sticks to the leather when it is hot out and this causes discomfort. I added a Dr. Scholl’s gel ball of foot insert because the ball of my foot was a little sore after wearing.

First of all, your service is top quality. I received these sandals a day before I went on vacation. The place where we stayed required us to dress up for dinner, so these are the sandals that I wore with my skirts & long dresses. They are very comfortable, dressy & very stylish. I'm considering getting a different color.

I have several pairs of Sofft shoes and absolutely LOVE them! Unfortunately, this shoe was a very tight size 8 and I had to send them back. Other than that, it's a great looking shoe and I was sad that they didn't fit.

I ordered aubergine suede. It was a great color. Sofft shoes are generally very comfortable to walk with except that they tend to be slightly tight overall. So be sure to order at least half size up if your feet have a slight higher arch. I felt both the strap and the toe part are tight for me. Unfortunately Zappos.com doesn't have 7 for aubergine. Will definitely buy it here when there is a 7. Got the shoes the next day. Love it!

Very stylish shoes -
This is a comfortable shoe. I wear them when I walk to work, which is nearly a mile away. I wear a narrow shoe and it was satisfying to find a shoe that fit. As other reviewers indicated, the straps are snug at first and will rub until they stretch out a little. They are dressy enough to wear with skirts and dresses, but casual enough to wear with shorts. I have gotten lots of compliments on them.

Way to go, Sofft! You have created the ultimate sandal. The patent leather is only stiff for about five minutes and then it loosens nicely. No cuts or pinches anywhere. Footbed is cushy and the heel is high enough to look great with jeans or skirts but absolutely stable. Comes in wide width -- hooray! True to size and width, and walk-all-day comfortable. There is actually a built-up arch for support, which you almost never see in a sandal! I had foot surgery last year and have to be really careful about heels. This is a sensible shoe that looks like a hottie.

Sofft Callan: The best shoe for the professional woman -
This shoe is very comfortable for those professional women that are on their feet the majority of their time. I found this particular shoe to be the prefect dress shoe, especially if your wear business attire to your work place every day. I also found this shoe to be the most comfortable if you have to stand a long period of time. The sole of the shoe enables your feet and legs to be relaxed at all times. To the designer of this particular shoe, I say thank you. It tends to make your feet look smaller than they really are. Overall, this is a very comfortable shoe that fits your feet, perfectly. I have two pairs; a brown pair and a black pair. Both pairs make my feet look so eloquent with my business attire.

Red ones are hot!
I have the patent red and love them. They look good and I get lots of compliments. And they are the most comfortable sandals I've ever bought. I can stand in them for an entire evening and my feet are fine. Highly recommend them. I normally wear 8.5 regular but bought the wide in this shoe because that's what fit the best in the store.

Comfy, look good. Front strap a tad tight the first few wearings, recommend a strip of moleskin under it to prevent big toe blister. Other than that, very comfortable and pretty sandal.
