Baby's first shoes -
We bought these for our 14 month old grandson. These were his first shoes and he loves them. We have no difficulty putting them on him, he doesn't try to take them off and he watches his feet in them when he walks. He has really FAT feet and the wides worked great; I just got a slightly larger size in length.

Great shoes for a dress up -
My son wears a school uniform and these shoes look great with dress pants and jeans. The colors of tan and navy look very nice and at the same time and it’s a great tennis shoe for the playground. As always Stride rite makes a great wide shoe. And Zappos is awesome too!

Bought this shoe in brown for my six year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. I thought the heel would be too high for her but not at all. She wore it to church and lunch afterwards the first day and did not complain once about the fit or the heel. Thanks Zappos for your prompt shipping and for your great customer service. My daughter has a high instep with a fallen arch. This is one of the few shoes she is comfortable in. She wears them all the time and if she didn't grow out of them, she would have easily gotten another season out of them.

Zappos a great place to get great shoes -
We have used Zappos for many shoe orders. My grandson can only wear wide shoes and to find them in a store is very hard, not to mention that we live in the country and have no malls nearby. Zappos was great when he was asked to be in a wedding and we needed dress shoes in a hurry. We went through several pairs before we found the right ones. The next day service was and is why we continue to use Zappos. Now we have a grand-daughter to continue the tradition of quick, great service and selection. Keep up the great work.

Adorable ballet slipper shoe for little girls. The style and quality are top notch! My daughter did say they were a little tight but I think because they are narrow they just need some breaking in.

These shoes are great for big wide Flintstone feet! They were the only ones I found in extra wide in my son's size. They are fun, roomy, and he loves them. They are also easy on and easy off. Zappos is great to deal with too!

My son has a very, very, wide foot, and Stride Rite seems to be the only company that makes "cool" shoes for my son to wear. New Balance has nice plain black or plain white, but not cool enough! I have four kids ages 20, 18, 8, and 6, and I learned long ago to go straight to Stride Rite for good kids shoes. Now that I have Zappos service, I can get Stride Rite shoes without leaving my house and quicker and with less hassle than any other company I shop with online. Plus, all I have to do is type in my son's size and all the shoes available in his size appear right there at Zappos.com. Thank you Zappos!

My 7 year old has very wide feet. We tried other brands, but he kept asking for Stride Rite's again. He wore his last pair for over a year as his only shoes, and he outgrew them before they wore out, so we came back for more!

My daughter and I saw this shoe in a local store, but they did not have her size in stock. I ordered this shoe at 10 p.m. one evening and received it the NEXT DAY and did not order any special shipping options! My daughter had the shoes she wanted in time for school ... she was VERY happy with her choice.

My twin boys wanted these for their birthdays. I bought the same size shoe that they are currently wearing in other Stride Rite shoes (their sizing is so consistent in our experience), but one of my boys LOVES these shoes and the other says that they aren't comfortable. The quality is great as always. The only "glow-in-the-dark" parts are on the outer sides of the shoes around the big green slime marks.

A great sneaker for little boys! As usual, we were so happy with the quality and fit of Stride Rite sneakers. When my son tried this on, he didn't want to take it off. And he'll usually tell me if the slightest thing bothers his feet. The spider effect only adds to it. We get a lot of compliments on them!

Pretty but so uncomfortable.
Sadly, these shoes seemed to really hurt my daughter's feet. They appeared to fit so I let her wear them but by the second wearing I noticed that they were leaving red welts on the back of her heel and where the strap hit her ankle. She has chubby feet but I think the strap is too close to the ankle & perhaps they aren't as soft as they should be.

My daughter has the pink suede and within one week they were almost black! She is hard on shoes, but these are impossible to keep clean. She's only had them a month and I'm ready to buy a new pair because they look awful! Overall a great shoe...just don't buy the pink ones if your daughter is the least bit hard on shoes!
