I LOVE Doc Martens and have 2 pair of boots, one of which is over 10 years old and I wear them 3/4 of the year! This shoe is a totally different vibe for a Doc Martens, same durability and "toughness" of the shoe, but very stylish...so cute. I LOVE them!

This Mr. Martens' boots are excellent not only in looks, but in size as well. Since Dr. Martens' shoes do not come in half sizes and only in UK sizes, I usually have a difficult time finding the right fit. This boot however, is definitely true to size. I am size 7, which translates to size 5 in UK. However, Dr. Martens' size UK 5 is usually too small and size UK 6 is usually too big. This boot in size 5 is definitely a perfect size 7. Thank you for making this boot the perfect size for me!

These will take some getting used to -
I love the look of the shoe (nice for dressing up a pair of pants or skirt, and that's hard to find in a flat; they also don't make my #10s look like gunboats, which is a plus), but they are like rocks, compared to the Keens I usually wear. I'm willing to accept the break-in though, because, after all they're Dr. Martens. But I won't be using them on any walking tours of the cathedrals of France, that's for sure. These remind me of the breaking-in we used to have to do with our Levi's shrink-to-fit 501s. There. I've done it--revealed my age. But it's part of the story of the product. They wouldn't be Doc Martens if you didn't go through it.

I've been wearing this style of Dr. Marten's boots for more than 15 years. They still are comfortable straight out of the box and they still look great and they live longer than most boots do!

I have been coveting these shoes for years and finally broke down and bought them last spring. They do NOT disappoint! The look of them is classic, they are incredibly comfortable and I can walk all day in them. What more could you ask? :) My only complaint is that they are much heavier than most shoes, but I guess it just makes my average day into a workout!

Love these shoes!
Love, love, love these shoes. Very true to size and so comfortable. I wore them last weekend when visiting Niagara Falls and we walked A LOT, up and down hills and all over. They were brand new and my feet felt great at the end of a very active weekend.

I received my boots very fast! I really like that kind of service, considering I had a hard time finding 20 eye zip boots that are patent, till I came across Zappos website! So I was eager to get them. I love the patent look and the 20 eye zip is very nice. The boots are a little tight, but should stretch out the more I wear them. I'm very happy with Zappos service.

These boots are amazing! They are incredibly comfortable--I'm a college student so I do a lot of walking, and they have never bothered my feet. They also look awesome, and random strangers frequently compliment me on them. I highly recommend them!

These Boots Rock!
First of all I would like to say that ZAPPOS ROCKS!!! Shipping was free and Zappos went one step further and upgraded my free shipping to next day shipping. You can't beat that. I usually shopped for shoes locally to avoid the hassle of returns but now I don't have to. Although most Docs are kind of wide, these boots are quite narrow. I have very short narrow feet. I usually wear a 6 1/2 - 7 in most shoes but in docs I usually wear a 6. When I got these boots I put them on and they fit perfect in length but they felt a bit too tight in width. A bigger size would have been too big. So I walked around the house in them for about 4 days to make sure they would stretch. I also had to by some insoles for my high arch, because these boots have no arch support. After, stretching them and putting insoles in them, they now fit like a glove. However, if I had wide feet then I would have not been able to wear them. Overall, I love these docs. They are a really great look and after being broke in they are about as comfortable as a pull on rigger boot can be. Anyways, they look great with my jeans and that is what I wanted. I have plenty of comfortable shoes anyhow.

My HOT boots -
These boots arrived just in time to go with my sister and I on our motorcycle trip to the coast. I fell in love with them the moment I unwrapped them; however, they looked way too small. I was amazed by the comfort and the look was more than I had hoped for; picture this: me, my black leathers and my HOT boots and my purple Harley. Best Dr. Martens shoe ever! A year ago I decided it was time to let loose of my Dr. Marten's collection (yes, I am aware that it was a big mistake), some being 20 years old. This is the only new pair out of five recently purchased that felt true straight out of the box. As I have aged my feet have become wider. I also suffer from hammer-toe. No problems with this shoe. Many complain about the new made in China versions. I also purchased a pair of vintage made in the UK ten holes and must say these are better. Complaints of inferior leather are ridiculous to me. While the leather appears to be the same "thickness", the new model is softer and immediately forms to the foot. If you have problems finding classic shoes because of a wide foot or suffer from hammer-toe, BUY THESE SHOES. I also cannot say enough about ZAPPOS. All five recently purchased pairs came from ZAPPOS. Lightning fast-free-next day delivery and the ultimate in costumer service. VIVA ZAPPOS!

I've been wearing Doc Martens for two decades now and have always had this style in black, but this time I got them in red. They still have all the great features of Doc Martens – sturdy, comfortable, and excellent ankle support, but are about 100% cuter in red! I wear them with pretty much everything (the exception- not good with business suits) and pretty much everywhere, including to work. Like all Docs, expect a break-in period (this is the price you pay for sturdiness- my last pair of Docs in this style lasted 8 years), and order a size larger than you would with other brands of shoes because they always seem to run large. If like me, you are a classic black Doc Marten wearer, try one of the colors this time! And as always, great service from Zappos- after finding Zappos, I do not buy shoes anywhere else. They cannot be beat for customer service, convenience and selection.

I have owned Docs for 20 years and by far this is the most comfortable pair I have ever bought. They look great and the comfort level is amazing. I almost ordered from another online store but I gave Zappos a try and I will never shop anywhere else for shoes again. I made my order at 6:30pm and they were at my door the next day at 3:30pm. That is some fast shipping. They did upgrade my shipping to priority I didn't ask they just did it.

My favorite flip-flops so far!!!
I've had an aversion to flip-flops for as long as I've been buying them. Why? Because usually they chafe me, either between my first two toes or the strap that covers the width of my foot, or both. NOT WITH THESE. My foot feels so snug and cushioned, I don't feel I'll have a problem with them. The piece between the toes might cause irritation, but I haven't worn them long enough to notice. That's something very apparent with brand new LEATHER flip flops. Leather's great after you've broken them in...my Born's took 4 months before I stopped blistering. These have nice arch support. Much better than with many inserts for walking/running shoes. Size-wise I'm an 11M as far as flip flops. I DIDN'T have to buy a size bigger/smaller for a perfect fit. If this is your first pair of flip flops, then buy one shoe size smaller than an American (Nike, Reebok, etc.) for a good fit. For all those who suffered from flip flops...suffer no more!

Well I must be honest. When the person took my order and said that they would be here tomorrow, I thought "yea, right". Well I received the boots under 24 hours, right size AND style! I will never go to the mall again. And I must add, I love Zappos! I have already picked out another pair and we be ordering these real soon. Great shoe - not for wide feet -
My daughter wears a 10 US shoe size. I was advised to buy the Size 8. She could get it on her foot, however, when I added a lightweight sock, she complained that the shoe felt too tight. She does have a little bit of a wider foot, so I would say this shoe is not for a wider foot or maybe you would buy up a size. I am going to be sending these back and trying the next size up. Quality of shoe is excellent.

Odd fit for me -
I got this shoe twice - first one size down, which was too small, and second, my regular size, which is a smidge too big, even with a heel insert. I wish they had half sizes!! I think I'm going to rig up some kind of mary-jane elastic strap to keep them on my feet though, because the pink is so darn adorable, and other than the size issue, they're really comfy.

They even outlast a 12 year old boy!
Our 12 year old son asked for Dr. Martens last year and when we saw the price we thought they were a bit expensive. However, we purchased a pair and were very happy. They are high quality, comfortable shoes that took a beating from our son and still looked good. We will continue to purchase Dr. Martens for our other children.

Usually I wear an 8 1/2. I ordered an 8, and it still was a full size too big. Hard to tell if it would be comfortable in the right size. The back of the heel is high and scrapes, but it is flopping off of my foot. Still, a cute shoe.
