My son likes these a lot!
This is a really great sneaker for my toddler, who is very picky about his kicks. No blisters, discomfort or other guilt-inducing negative side effects with this one! Just one wish that the velcro covered the entire flap and not just underneath the "N".

I purchased this sneaker in a wide because my son has a wide foot and a high instep. It is not very generous in the width. If you are considering whether or not your child needs a wide, do not hesitate. Although they have no laces, it is still not super easy for my son to get these on by himself. It is a comfortable sneaker and it looks good.

My daughter LOVES these shoes!
This is probably the best pair of shoes that I have found for my 5 year old daughter. They fit true to size and are very good looking! She is required to wear tennis shoes to school, which she was very cranky about, but she happily puts these on every morning!
Finally a pair of shoes that don't have to be ALL pink and are still her favorite!

My five year old daughter loves her shoes, she is always wanting to wear them. She loves the bright pink! Being a parent of a five year old who is into everything, I love the color of the shoes because they do not show dirt easily. I have already had to wash them once and they looked brand new when they came out. These shoes are well worth every penny spent! Thanks Zappos!

My sons favorite shoes!
I purchased these sneakers for my son after reading the reviews of others. My husband is a huge New Balance fan, and has converted me into one as well. When I saw that Zappos carried NB for kids in XW sizes, I figured it'd be worth a try.
My little boy loves these shoes! He has worn them every single day without a complaint, and refers to them as his "best running and jumping shoes ever."
Since then, I had to take him to a pediatric podiatrist. The doctor was wearing NB sneakers, too! He told me that they are some of the best shoes that people can wear...especially kids. So now, I feel even better about my purchase!
Looking at the picture of them, my only concern was that it looked like the top of the sneaker might rub against his ankle bone, but, if it does; he has never once mentioned it. He loves them, and I'm thrilled!

NB Wide fits like it should. This is at least the fourth or fifth pair of wide New Balance sneakers that I have purchased for my son. The fit is consistent and the shoes hold up pretty well. My son prefers a looser fit; he likes his toes to be able to wiggle freely and I encourage that!

Great Sneaker for a Toddler!
I am really happy with this shoe for my son. He has a really wide foot and he has no problem getting his chubby little foot in this shoe. It's also really light weight, which I think is important for kids since they are doing so much running around.

This is my daughter's second pair of New Balance. I've found that they hold up very well to lots of wear, are easy on and off for smaller kids and best of all, are sized to fit a child with an extra wide foot. Got the solid white last year and when we had to size up went with the pink – very cute. My daughter loves them. Well worth the money!

Great shoe, couple of problems...
I love New Balance shoes & this one is terrific... except for 2 things. First of all, it's actually pretty tough to get these shoes ON; if your child has a remotely high arch (you practically have to unthread the top strap). Secondly, this one needed some breaking in -- there were a couple of spots that really rubbed, at first. All in all, however, we're very pleased - my 4 year old loves these shoes ("They make me run FAST!") & they're very sturdy.

Loved this shoe the first time so we bought it again -
My 3 1/2 year old daughter wore these just about every day last year. I hunted for a different shoe but could never find one with the style, versatility, comfort, and durability that these had, so we bought another pair. This shoe is worth every penny, and as an added bonus the "L" and "R" on the inside have taught her left and right!

My kid has fat feet!!! Finally a store that carries shoes for little guys with fat feet! Shoes arrived super fast. I ordered a wide, after trying on, realized I needed an extra wide. Zappos shipped me a new pair in two days! Great! These shoes are nice. My baby walked in the mud with them. I put them in the washer and they came out looking good as new.

My son has extra wide feet, and I have to buy him XW shoes. I have bought New Balance before, but I don't think this particular shoe fits like an extra wide sneaker should. Even though it is XW, I am still not able to bring the velcro strip over enough to the other side to make it hold. The velcro is always popping up because it doesn't have a good enough hold. Overall, the look of the shoe is very cute though.

My son loves his new shoes! His toes are no longer squeezed in and aren't red when we take them off. If your children have chubby little feet like my son, I highly recommend trying these shoes. We were thrilled with the prompt service. Usually free shipping takes forever, but we actually received the shoes 2 days after we ordered them. I will be ordering from Zappos again.

As always, Stride Rite and Zappos saved me! Bought these for my 3 year old grandson, who, like his big sister has very wide and hard to fit feet. These shoes are great... he can “do it himself” putting them on at preschool and at home. They are dressier than a sneaker, but just as functional. Face it... a 3 year old boy only slows down to sleep! I’ve shopped Zappos for years. ALWAYS am amazed at the speed! Have also done many returns for a different size... again … ALWAYS impressed at the speed and ease of refunding and exchanging.

I came across Zappos web site when searching for the sandal. I ordered these sandals at 3pm and received them at my doorstep the following morning around 9am. It was free shipping so I assumed I would receive them in about a week. Zappos upgraded my shipping and had them sent overnight.
