The swinging Sixties gave British youth culture more fashion, money and freedom than ever before. Ben Sherman recognized this niche and began manufacturing his own range of shirts and beachwear. In 1963 Ben Sherman the brand was born.
Ben Sherman was the Mod God. The man, who started making shirts from a small, back street factory in Brighton, went on to dress the swinging Sixties and became the King of Carnaby Street.
The Ben Sherman shirt is unique to the time. Special features made it unmistakably recognizable; the button down collar was big with a distinctive roll to it and an extra button in the centre back. The shirtfronts featured plackets cut on the bias and a black label bearing Ben’s name sat on the side of the left hand pocket. Packaged in distinctive black and orange boxes, the ‘button downs’ were sold with enormous success across the UK, Europe and the USA. Business was doing well and the shirts were adopted by the ever-increasing youth cult of the time, the Mods.

Okay if you like borderline fru fru clothing. I thought I would be able to leave a couple of buttons open to fix the collar, but it did not work. The color looks a little silly. Maybe okay for a much younger girl (like middle-school age), but not for me (40-year old). The rest of the top looks and fits okay.

Beautiful, but beware of the sizing!!
Nice jacket, looks beautiful. HOWEVER, speaking as someone who happens to go between a medium and a large depending on the brand, a large was waaaaaay too small for me (fat man in a little coat anyone? :-)) That being said I'm going to swallow my pride and get an XXL if I have to...

Clown Shoes -
I ordered these shoes in red and when I got them I was really disappointed. I felt like I was wearing clown shoes and they felt really stiff - perhaps this would have improved upon wearing them more.

Look sporty and feel comfy!
I really like the design of the sneaker with the little red and blue guitars. The gray suede on the toes and side vents are attractive and flexible as well. I've worn them on the beach with my dog and they're sturdy walking on sand.
I have heel spurs and need to wear ortho inserts in all my shoes, they fit easily inside the sneakers without making them feel tight.
I would highly recommend this cool style sneaker/van.
My shoe size is 10, but I feel I could have worn a 9.5 in this shoe. It was large but not enough to be a problem.

Awesome dressy brown shoe!
I was thoroughly pleased with these shoes! I think they look great - stylish and modern, and they are actually really quite comfortable once you put some insoles in, as the bottoms are a bit hard.

Good lookin' BUT...
Great looking boot but extremely tough to break in...Severe stiffness and hard to tolerate to break in...some what tight but I hope this resolves thru wear...water proof and some what comfy and hoping this boot will pan out comfort wise...I wish this company would expand on this line...you always have the Zappos return to fall back on...good luck!

All look, no structure -
They look great - but zero support. Basically an upper stuck on a thin, hard sole. After an hour my feet are killing me. On the bright side - I guess they'll never wear out!

This is by far one of the Best and Classic shirts that I've got from Zappos. Trust me, it looks at least a thousand times better than on computer screen. Its got super fine lines in red brown and Green (you wont believe green cuz they are super fine and can't be seen well on the screen). It is truly a 'Classic'. Quintessentially Ben Sherman type. Super 60's, super English (British). If you've got some good biceps then the whole potential of this shirt would be exploited cuz it flaunts them nicely thru' the slightly-tight-not-to-vulgar sleeves with a v-notch on its side and a stylish 3/16th inch diameter ("Cute" to be stated in the sissy way) button. This is a super stylish seriously casual shirt. You’ll like it.

Such a fun shoe!!
They are even cuter in person. I've had so many compliments on these from both men and women. The details are exquisite. They are very unique and versatile. Look great with jeans and skirts. Pretty comfortable and very well made. I usually wear a 9 and the size 8 fit perfectly. Based on these shoes and other styles from this brand on Zappos, Ben Sherman is definitely a brand to look out for!!

It is a beautiful t-shirt, the problem is with the size. I got an L size for my husband, but even though it says it's an L, actually it is much smaller. For this particular shirt, one has to get an XL for an L. I'm going to give it to my brother-in-law.

I also thought it was a knit dress - the photo is very misleading. However, as one review says, this could work great over jeans but really it is not as substantial as the photo makes out. It is cute though just not what I was looking for! The service of Zappos however is soo fast and so easy to return that I was not too bothered when it wasn't what it looked like.

Shoes for a “Super Player” -
Incredible shoes that get non-stop compliments and head turns. The toe is unusually long and they're not very comfy at first, but after a few weeks of wear, they fit nicely. Overall, incredible shoes. Great style, great looking, great value, and great Zappos service as always.

Great shoe -
I love Ben Sherman shoes. Stylish without being over the top. Most men’s shoes are either boring or too crazy - these have flair without being too obvious. Great shoe, they seem a little thin in the sole, so you'll feel the street for sure, but they're quite comfy. I wish they made half-sizes though as I'm right in the middle, but for these, the larger size, while a little loose, fits pretty well. More like a 7.75 than an 8. I had bought a 7 (which was too small), but sent them back and then tried the 8s, which I'm keeping.
