Great for sitting around your office, your cube, the bar, the club. Not so great for actual walking. The peep toe is cut pretty shallow, so when you walk, it rubs and scrapes your big toe right where the nail bed meets skin. Ouch. The first 30 or so min, you think it's not so bad. After an hour or so of logged walking time, you hurt. You're walking funny. Everyone's noticing your shoes because they're cute, sure, but also because you're lumbering around like the Bride of freaking Frankenstein. The insole's pretty steep and that only exacerbates the problem. Definitely toss a pair of scrunchy, comfy back-up flats in the bag for when you're done looking cute for the colleagues, or when the crew's too wasted to care. You'll need 'em.

Funky and chic all at the same time!
I love these shoes. I have them in black. I wear them with an A-line skirt that goes just below the knee and they look great. They're also actually very comfortable for a higher heel. They give a sort of 40's-ish feel to your look, but they're incredibly modern at the same time. I wore them to brunch the other day and my friends all loved them. They actually pointed them out and commented and inquired as to where I purchased them! They seem far more expensive than they really are and they make you feel good, so what more can you ask of a shoe! :) I love them and I think you will too!

Cute Shoe!
I bought a pair in red and I love the way they look, but the sizing is off. I usually wear an 8M, but they were too big and slipped off. I returned them and ordered a 7 1/2 and they were tight but I wore them anyway. I'll try to try to break them in with socks - they're too cute to leave in the closet! (These might be better for someone with a narrow foot.)

Cute and Comfy -
These shoes are adorable! I was pleasantly surprised by how cute they are in person, and by how soft the leather is. They are elasticized so that they hug your foot and don't chafe or rub. They fit right out of the box--no breaking-in period. They don't have any arch support, and have a very thin sole, so they wouldn't be appropriate for an outing where you'd do a lot of walking. They also felt to be a bit smaller than marked. My toes almost hit the end of the shoe and I wish I'd sized up a bit. Still, REALLY cute. I love them!

Nice, but only while they last -
Not for urban dwellers who walk a lot. I had to have the heel caps replaced within a month due to street-wear and within two months one of the zippers broke and needs to be completely replaced. The hassle and cost makes these not much of a bargain. Otherwise they were reasonably comfortable, while they lasted, and nice too look at.

Lovely Shoe but quality but dye quality is disappointing -
I bough a whole size smaller as per the previous reviews and the shoe fit well, still a little loose, but with a pair of Dr Scholl’s liners they fit well. I am very pleased with the style of the shoe but am horrified to see that dye rubbed off the heel from driving to work, 4 miles, after one wear. I would expect scuffing after a few wears but after one is quite appalling. I doubt I will buy NaNa again.

Strange toe...
They cute in the box and the leather is soft, but the toe bed is sooo strange... couldn't see my toes, except for the pinkie toe hanging out the side. I have VERY NORMAL feet, maybe if you don't these shoes would make your toes look cute??? I only tried one shoe on, but it felt like it would get uncomfortable after an hour or two.

They're very cute but the silver buttons fell off the first time I wore them. They remain cute shoes without the button, but it is a disappointment. They yellow dye also leaked a little. They offer no arch support, but fit comfortably otherwise.

Great boot! I am glad I read the reviews before ordering because getting a 1/2 size larger was the best thing that I did. They fit great. I have skinny calves, so it is a little wide on my ankle, but they still look good on me. The heel is a little slippery.

Comfy, yes -- surprising, no. Besides a padded footbed, they have just the right amount of toe room so that they do not pinch. I have wide feet and they also fit perfectly, especially after they have had a little time to wear in and stretch. At the same time, they make my feet look small and oh so cute! The tops look like real patent leather, not like something with a vinyl coating. They have durable metal heel tips that will not wear out quickly (unlike poor quality plastic tips). These shoes also come in candy-apple red with an almost translucent finish and silver metal heels, and dark chocolate brown with the same bronze heels that the black ones have (hint, hint, Zappos!).

This boot is beautiful two-tone... Unfortunately, due to the suede it doesn't conform to the calf very well... It made my calves look bigger than they really are... I did not wear them so I am not sure of the comfort, but NaNa is typically a comfortable brand... too bad... nice boot! I may try the shoe version of this style instead.

Wow! These shoes are even better in person! The quality is great and they are so comfortable. I bought these in the brown in my regular shoe size and the fit is perfect. I don't mind the high heel because the shoe does not pinch or rub. The leather is soft. This is my first NaNa purchase and will not be my last. A great shoe!

It looks great on, but...
I have been searching for this boot every where and it just arrived. One little problem!! I could hardly get them on. I am a 7.5/8 and I bought an 8 without reading the reviews. I have a skinny foot, ankle and calves, but "wiggling into them" (as one commenter stated) was an understatement. In my quest to just try on my boot, I had to try several times and thought I was about to get a cramp in the arch of my foot. As I type I have one boot on, scared to attempt with the second. Once it's on it feels great, but to get them on is the problem. Now... how am I going to get it off?!? I don't know if I'll be returning them, but I definitely advise any one to yes get a half a size or maybe a full size larger.

I must say that I was very surprised when I received my shoes. I ordered my size which is 8 and they were so big that my friend who wears 9.5 fit in them. I had to send them back and get the size 7. But overall they are great shoes, the look, the comfort I give it a 1 out of 10. And when it comes to the customer service I will honestly say Zappos is the BEST!!! They really know what customer service is all about.

I love these boots!! I wore them to a gallery opening and after about 2 hours they were hurting...I refuse to return them. They would be fine with a squishy insert for the ball of your foot!! Many many compliments!

These shoes are great! They have a lot of details (bow, scrunching leather, metal heel and a green sole) compared to the basic black patent. I have slightly narrow feet so these fit me perfectly and the round toe is really comfy.

A Simple yet Sexy Pair of Boots...
As usual the boots came within 24 hours and when I opened the box they were definitely more beautiful than I expected. Overall it is such a gorgeous pair of brown boots. Love the gold speckles. As the other reviews stated I did order a ½ size up and I’m glad I did. It is a bit difficult to put on, but once you get them on it is somewhat comfy, a little tight and pinchy in the ankle and toe area, but seems alright. May need time to adjust as with new pairs of shoes. Still thinking about what to do...

I love these boots, but its kinda hard to find things to go with them. They look real cute with Leg warmers, but kinda silly tucked into jeans unless your jeans are REAL skinny. I def get noticed in them and both mixed. The quality is alright, but they scuff easy. I wouldn't go dancing in them. I personally love original shoes like this and IM In love with how tiny my feet look and the shape of the toe. Not sure if I would have paid more for them tho.

I wanted a pair of stylish boots for the season, and saw these online. I purchased the gray colored boots. They look amazing with skinny jeans! The gray is a bit more of a bluish gray, rather than a true gray. As people have mentioned before, they are a bit snug in the ankle area, so you do have to do some wiggling to get them in but otherwise they fit well. I wore them during an entire day of tailgating and bar-hopping and wore them as I walked all across town and my feet were totally happy the next day! I love these boots!

Bought these without seeing a review. They look great in person (quality/construction), and very trendy. The heel height is perfect - not too high like most platform heels out there. They were as comfortable as platform heels can get; I was at a party for 5 hrs and survived pretty well with them on. Good shoe for the price.
