Cool new looks make sandal more city than trail -
This sandal is great!! When I opened the box, my husband said "Those are the best looking Keen shoes I've seen!" The swooped design of the straps makes the shoe more stylish & feminine than the Newports and they do not have as large a rubber toe guard - they look great sightseeing, museum touring, shopping, etc. They are also cooler than Newports due to the more open strap design. I do not think I'd go on an extensive trail hike in the Mystics -- they are not quite as supportive as Newports because you can't fully cinch down the straps all around your foot -- they are more like a sandal/MaryJane hybrid. I did have to put in some small arch support pads (FootSmart sells a very handy set of adjustable arch pads) because they did not have enough support for my arch - I fastened them down with double-sided tape. I found the Mystics run more true to size than Newports -- I could take my normal size 8 1/2 instead of the 9's I need in Newports. I agree with other writers that the buckle is small and can sometimes be hard to work but mine are getting easier as I use the buckles more. All in all, a fabulous shoe!

Very comfortable shoe (as all Keens are)--doesn't seem quite as sturdy as some of them, but all in all, pretty spiffy.

I love this shoe! I'm a huge Keen fan and I was not let down by this shoe. I typically wear a 7.5 in Keens and that is what I bought. I'm a teacher and I'm on my feet all day. I can wear this shoe all day long with no problems. I have worn my other Keens while teaching pregnant (the Keen Calistoga) . I would have done the same in the San Mateo. So if you want a comfortable, yet cute shoe, don't hesitate!

Great bag - I have truly enjoyed this bag. It worked great when we were on vacation, it can hold a ton of stuff, even a magazine or book. It is really very convenient. I use it as a daily purse and although it is more than I need everyday, I love it.

A little piece of green paradise on my feet...
I don't have a car and walk everywhere in the city of Chicago. And flip-flops just don't cut it for long distances & all day. I like the feel of the sole material and the straps are soft and slightly cushioned. I learned on the third day that if I push my toes ALL the way forward in the shoe the heel strap slides on. Plus they look good and Keens does color in the men's line, which I really appreciate.

Looks good with all summer casual!
Love the shoes, easy on and off. Look good with shorts, skirts and all the casual flirty summer styles. I walk a lot in Chicago and was totally jealous of my partner's Venice Keens, which were unavailable in my size. These are just as fun and very comfy.

I typically have trouble with my feet but these hiking boots were comfortable immediately and needed no break-in time. The support is sufficient enough so I do not have to use my orthotics with them. A great shoe!!! I recommend it highly. I did need to buy a 1/2 size larger.

The footbed on this shoe is too short, so the lip on the back heel rubs constantly – too much walking and Blister City! Order a half size up. If Keen had made the lip smaller, or the footbed a bit shorter, this shoe would have worked for me. Oh, and by the way, my feet are normal and true to size, medium width.

Crocs Adara sandals -
I find these crocs to be comfortable and cool. Not as much rubber so not as warm as my other crocs sandals. Fit true to size as all my other crocs styles. I do find my toes work to the edge sometimes. I think the straps may have stretched some. I am happy to be able to wear a sandal as I am supposed to wear my orthodics all the time and crocs have given me a break on this.

Good traveling shoe - We bought this shoe for our two year old for a ten day trip to Scotland. The shoes held up very well and are cute and comfortable. They stay on during walking, but were also easy off and on for airport security.

Zappos service, as usual was excellent and I actually received the shoes much sooner than I expected. In every way the Austin’s were wonderful. Other than high praise for the company and the product, the only comment I would share is that the laces were so too short to be easily tied. Zappos made a small price adjustment so that I could buy longer laces without additional cost.

Sole is identical to Newport sandal, but the overall support is better. Interesting feature: the insole is also a closed foam type, not cloth like most other shoes like this. Good all around shoe.

Great Keen - I have about seven pairs of different Keen shoes and these are my favorites. I have a wide foot and the toe box on these is very roomy. They fit like most Keens. I think all Keens are about 1/2 size small - I normally wear 11.5, so the 12 fit perfect. Got the all black and they are great leather quality...

Bag does a great job of protecting my laptop. However, the sack section doesn't hold a lot & it seems bulky for the little amount that it holds. I love the purple color & it's comfortable on the shoulders. I wonder why Keen called it Goose Hollow.

Super adorable, but they sort of hurt - I love the look of these shoes. I am a size 6, but the 6s I originally ordered were too small (this was a first for me). I exchanged them for a 6.5, which fit very well except for the fact that the top of one shoe cuts into the top of my foot. Perhaps they will loosen up with wear, but I haven't been in the mood to be in pain so haven't worn them too much yet.

What a discovery I've made...finding my Keen shoes! My comfort level is heavenly. I can't say enough about these sandals and my other pairs I've purchased this summer. I have small, nasty feet...but not anymore! Zappos and they're customer service team cannot be beat in my book!!

Fantastic - active shoe -
I just bought these shoes for my 3 year old daughter. We went on a trip to Disneyland & San Diego and I didn't want to have to pack tennis shoes, crocs & sandals. These shoes are a great mix of all 3. Most importantly - she loved them and they gave her great support. They are waterproof and dry quickly. They stay clean and are easy for her to put on & take off by herself. I highly recommend them!

I am a big fan of Keen shoes and the Venturas do not disappoint. The look is fab and causal. I love that they have a "sneaker" look while still giving the great support that Keen is so well known for. I would highly recommend these shoes!

Wonderful shoes.
I got these shoes for my son because I was tired of buying him cheapy shoes that just seemed to fall apart. These are lasting perfectly, in fact, I'm sure he will outgrow them before they wear out. Plus, they are just so cute on his little feet!
