The first thing I noticed about this shoe is that it is very lightweight. Upon trying it on, however, I found even the wide-width shoe tight around my foot. The shoe did loosen up after a while, but the lack of sufficient arch support and cushioning often left my feet in pain by the end of the day. Adding to the discomfort, vents on the top and sides of the shoe let water right in when walking in wet grass or a light rain. The shoe did turn out to be more durable than I expected, lasting about 12 weeks before blowing out on the sides, which is fairly typical for my shoes.

A nice formal dress shoe -
This is a good width for a normal wide (C/D). The shoe is a little bit loose in the heel, but not so much that it gave a blister. This is a good looking shoe. The flower is just a little bit sparkly, so there is a small amount of bling. The heel is high but the shoe is constructed so that it is comfortable to stand in.

Tried to like them - but failed -
Really pretty cute, but somehow not quite right. Could have been that the wide width I ordered was too wide, or made the shoe a bit big overall. Fitz-well, but not well enough. Don't need to add to my 'seldom worn' shoe collection, and feel like that's where these would have landed in my closet.

The picture of these shoes featured on the page from which I ordered did not show the double row of white stitching on these. I would not have bought them at all; I wanted something that would look a bit dressy with my fancy sleepwear. So, I am using a black permanent marker to make those white stitches invisible. I suspected from the reviews of this slipper/shoe that it might run narrow, since mainly women with narrow feet were very happy with them. So, even though I usually wear a medium width, I ordered the D (wide) width. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable, and have a padded insole, so a bare foot in this slipper will feel just fine.

I got the black leather version of this shoe and I've worn them many, many times. I really wanted to like these because they were exactly the shoe I was looking for, but I finally gave up and am going to donate them well before they've been worn out. They fit perfectly. However, these shoes kill my feet. Believe me, the leather never softens up nor does it breathe, at all. The sole is slick and I had to put gripper on the bottom so I wouldn't pull a groin muscle while walking. Also, they have a horrible chorus of squeaks when I walk. I'm NOT sad to be giving them up. Just wanted you to know before you buy.

After wearing my new boots 4-5 times, one of the loops for lacing the shoes up broke when I tightened it. Since I was in the middle of a backpacking trip in Idaho, and the shoes got pretty well worn, I have not sent them back for a refund. I was really disappointed about the poor quality design since I only saved around $20 by going with this boot rather than the one I really wanted. Other than that, the boot is really comfortable but I am now not able to lace them correctly.

Excellent fit, comfort, appearance. Just what I wanted and the fit is great on my arthritic left foot that has "grown" larger than my right foot. These are really great shoes. Comfortable walk too because of the thick sole.

Great shoe - except the insole liner -
This is one of the lightest, most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, but plan on wearing with socks or tights because the sole liner is not attached very well and will come apart starting at the toes. I wear 13.5 narrow and the 13 regular fit me perfectly.

I don't own this shoe but I noticed the comments on it about quality and discomfort and just wanted to let women know that Lumiani makes one just like it and the quality is great. The Lumiani shoes look just like the Manolo Mary-janes. Just wanted to let people know!

These shoes are extremely comfortable and very versatile. I wear them for long walks and never get tired. When they got dirty on a rainy day, I just washed the dirty spots and that did the trick.

Cute, but hurt -
Well, I found the shoe to be cute. I got it in black, size 11, and it flopped off my foot, the first day there was so much extra space. I had to grip it to stay on, so I went and got those clear gel insoles to see if that would tighten up the shoe; however, it didn’t work because all it did was send my foot up to the front more. In turn the shoe rubbed up on the sides of my toe and it was quite painful by the end of day two, so sadly, I must send them back. Better luck next time!

Pretty but fit not what expected -
I really liked the look of these shoes. However, the width I ordered was wide and if this is what they consider a side width, I would hate to see the average width. The fit was so narrow that I couldn't try them on to see if the size was correct. They appeared to even be a slight size smaller than marked. The company should re-consider the sizing on this shoe as it doesn't fit the average size and width for the industry it seems.

I tried on the boots the second they came to me. I was deeply dissatisfied. They are huge. I ordered size 11 and they feel like a size 12. The width was at least a step wider than medium. I will have to return these and try another brand.

I bought these in grey for a wedding and they were so comfortable that I have been wearing them to work as well. Perfect heel height and the bottoms are not slick so you feel like you have a good grip on the ground when you walk. Thinking about buying the black pair also.

I wear a 9W and need orthotics due to plantar fasciitis. I put these shoes on the same day they arrived and they fit with plenty of room in the toe box, and the heel stayed nicely in place. A little break in period is needed for these, and for me, extra cushiony socks. When I used these on the treadmill to help breaking them in, I found my feet to move a little in the heel. Overall, great hiking shoes, promises to fit and serve me well in the future.

Wow! An attractive shoe that's comfortable!!! I didn't think it was possible to find such a thing. When I put the shoes on I first thought they were going to be too small, but when I walked around it was obvious that they were a perfect fit. The comfort alone is worth the price.

Adorable shoe. I wanted the 9.5 but they only had the 10 which is too big in the heel. It might be fixed by an insert, but the toe box is weird and there may not be enough room for that to happen. I love the height of the heel except that it holds my foot at such an angle that I feel like I am dancing on pointe, unlike any other heel I have worn. It hurts as if the shoe is too small and I'm stubbing my toe. It's a very bizarre fit. I would not be able to get my toes in the 9.5 as there is very little room and yet the 10 seems really too wide and too long. I'll probably send them back. Too bad, as they are dang cute.

Beautiful, tiny shoe.
I love the way these shoes look, but they are so small my feet looked like Cinderella's stepsister trying these on. I even ordered wide instead of medium width because of the fit comments. Don't let the great looks entice you. I've had the same luck with other Fitzwell shoes. They're pretty- and don't fit well.

Great shoe! I normally wear a 5.5M, after reading the reviews, I ordered a 5.5W and a 6W, I'm glad I did! The 5.5W pinched my toes, and the 6W is a great, comfortable fit in the toe box! The only issue is that my heel slips, but I put in some pads and they helped a lot! I really like these shoes and the price was such a bargain!

Very cute!
This shoe is very cute, but for me, it runs wide and narrow is not available. I don't know if a half size smaller would have made a difference as I kept the shoe and wore them before truly realizing what a poor fit they were for me. I am going to try to stuff some soles in them to see of that will help me get some use from them. If you have a wider foot...I think you will love this shoe!

I never, wear anything higher than, well flats, but this one fits and feels pretty good...and it's cute too. The Zappos customer service team is so outstanding that I wish I could do all my online shopping with them. This includes their user-friendly web site.

Shoe/boot --simple and comfortable -
I am very happy with these "boots". They look great with jeans (just the hint of a boot), and are very comfortable. I bought them, as they were offered in wide. The size for me was wide enough but slightly loose in the box and heel, so I added a small insert and now they are very comfortable. Style wise, these are better worn with pants than a skirt. The ankle is a bit wide and does not pair well with leggings--possibly a thick sock could pull the look off. This shoe looks like a nice streamlined women's oxford without the fussy-ness of some, and it is a very reasonable price. The quality is a bit better than what appears in the photograph.

Work shoe - Good detailing. If I ordered this shoe again, I wouldn’t order the patent leather version. Otherwise good for office and going out. It was a bit higher of a heel than I normally wear, but the heel has more support than a normal one. After work the first day, I had to take them off. Over time I will break them in.
