What makes Earth® footwear different?
The primary point of difference with Earth Footwear is Kalsø® Negative Heel Technology®. Its unique design actually positions one's toes higher than their heels. The incline is slight – 3.7 degrees – but the significant benefit is that Kalsø® Negative Heel Technology® helps to shift your weight back over your heels, and moves you into a more natural, empowered, position. How long does it take to get adjusted to Kalsø® Negative Heel Technology®?
Like most any new experience for the body, periods of adjustment can vary from individual to individual. Most people adapt right a way. For those who may have a pre-existing foot condition, or who wear high heels, the transition can take a bit longer, and can involve some minor discomfort. In these cases, we recommend that the individual consult a medical professional so the adjustment to a neutral foot and body position can precede their shoe selection. A series of exercises can complement the transition to Earth footwear so the foot and body are able to properly welcome the whole-body benefits of the footwear from a sound foundation.
What is Gelron2000®? Does all Earth footwear have it?
Gelron2000® is a memory gel located in the footbed of most Earth shoes. In concert with Kalsø® Negative Heel Technology®, and an anatomically-optimized arch, the technology in Earth Footwear is designed to offer the consumer a complete 'health and wellness' experience. Very comfortable with great arch support. The leather is rigid so may need some breaking in. Great for prolonged standing. Looks good on your feet, not clumsy at all like some other styles with the negative heel. I got them in black and brown and love them both. All my other Earth shoes have lasted forever (I still have them) and I expect these will too. A bit pricey but worth it.

These shoes need no break-in period. They are very comfortable except for that elastic around the top of the shoe. The first day it did not bother me, but the second day of wear, the back of my right heel was tender from the elastic stretching and then returning to its original position as I walked. And I did wear stockings both days. They are cute and I love the Kalso design for the foot pad.

Walking barefoot -
This is my second pair of Earth shoes, and it is like walking barefoot, only with support. Love the way it works my legs and doesn't look so obvious that they are good for you. A little pricey, but I feel that it is worth it because I will wear them for all my weekend outings, instead of tennis shoes.

It is impossible to get these shoes on. The entrance is too small; the sides of shoe are too soft. There is nothing to "push against" to get these shoes on. I am really disappointed because I have trusted my other Earth shoes but I don't think anyone could be happy with this new design.

Usually do not have trouble fitting shoes. But these hurt my foot around the arch; only feels good on a carpet. Maybe the will be good to you but these shoes are walking torture on the flats...but at least I look good.

I walk about 5 miles a day. In these sneakers I get quite a workout, especially in the back of my legs. It's a good stretch after walking in heels all day. I'd by another pair.

I am very happy with the Lazers. I have two pairs of Earth sandals, women's size 11 and they are very comfortable. I ordered Earth "Rockets" in size 12 and they were too small. The Lazers are men’s, size 11, and they are perfect. Lightweight and comfortable for all day, city streets, heavy duty use.

They make your feet look and feel good!
I can hardly believe it! These shoes are good for my feet, my legs, and my posture. It is really comfortable and the angle of the sole changes everything. My toes are not crammed into the toe because my foot is not slanting forward. There is a different kind of arch support in Earth shoes, which feels so natural. After years of wearing other kinds of clunky looking orthopedic shoes which felt pretty good, but looked ugly or wearing foot destroying stylish shoes that looked pretty, but could not be walked in without crippling effects… I can have pretty feet! The Earth Stunning is attractive, light in weight, and it really feels good.

What is Earth thinking?
Since so many of us have been wearing sport shoes for most of our life, our feet tend to be somewhat wider. That and nutrition have made all of us larger and we have larger feet. It would be both practical and good economics for shoes to be wider and to have more styles in larger sizes. Earth shoes are still great and wonderful to wear.

This boot is super cute, but beware, I found it to run very wide (I do not officially have "narrow" feet that require me to wear narrow shoes, but my feet do run on the narrower side). The length was perfect, but when I walked around my office with them on, it felt like my foot was about to fall out. I could tell if I walked for too long I would get blisters. Unfortunately, I had to return them. Love Earth shoes, but some of the cutest styles don't fit because they are too wide. For some crazy reason Earth doesn't make narrows! But if your foot is a bit wider, this boot is cute and should work for you.

Great for running!
I bought a half size larger than my last earth shoes. I do 3 miles every 2 nights and once I figured out the socks issue I had no blisters and complete comfort from this shoe. I bought some proper running socks from REI that are thick durable and not cotton so there is no friction on the heels anymore. Now in love!

I really like these. I am recuperating from a broken ankle and these really work my legs. I wear them all day, every week day and then on Saturday I switch to my Asics and feel like I can fly! I love Earth shoes!

Almost impossible to get it on -
I am finding it almost impossible to get my foot into this shoe. The entrance is very tight even after I took the laces off. Once I have got it on, it is OK, but it is also almost impossible to get it off. I have a couple of Earth shoes that I like but this one was a waste of money because it is so difficult to get it on.

This is a tricky brand of shoe. They are made especially for people who have plantar fas. When you first receive them they are very very snug, this is the 2nd shoe of this brand I have purchased and I have had to put stretching spray and tube socks inside the shoes overnight. After the 2nd day you wear them (after they have been stretched) they feel like heaven. I would recommend this shoe to everyone who has foot problems!

With advice from my sister, I bought a pair of these shoes. I have found when I wear them, they help alleviate the knee pain I've had due to flat feet. Although I have orthotics, and have had some relief, these shoes have helped more than anything I've tried. They offer full foot support and help to align the leg in a way that the body is supported. I may be throwing out every other pair of shoes in my closet! Why suffer when one doesn't need to?

Good for people with problem feet - These sneakers are simply amazing! I have Morton's Neuroma in both feet, and recently underwent surgery in one foot to relieve the pressure. Since then (6 months) I've been unable to wear shoes comfortably except for Birkenstocks! This doesn't work if you live in New England. Thankfully, I recently discovered Earth shoes and they feel wonderful. I have unusually high arches as well as the Neuroma, so finding cold weather shoes is nearly impossible for me. I love these Earth sneakers! Not only do they look very cute, but I can wear them comfortably with zero foot pain. This is quite unusual. It's worth the money to me to feel energized and happy because my feet aren't killing me! The insole does remove for orthotics, but I find that the footbed that comes in the shoe is better than my orthotics because of the negative heel. I am loving the negative heel. It makes my knees feel great.

Not as stylish as I hoped they would be, but pretty comfortable. They're a little flat, not much arch support. I have been wearing them to work though, where I'm on my feet all day, and my feet, legs and back don't hurt at night!

This shoe is so nice looking in person, and, I'm sure, it will be VERY warm, which is great. It gets waaaaaaay below zero here in the winter. I'm hoping I can get it to fit me. I ordered a 6.5, what I usually wear in Earth Shoes, and it's huge. I don't know if it's mismarked or what, but it's gotta go back. Even with thick socks, it'd be huge. (The other reviewer said it was a fine fit for her, so I'm thinking it might be a mismark, but who knows?) I'm going to try a 6 and hope for the best.

I work on my feet all day on concrete floors and was suffering from pain that got to be excruciating by the end of my shift. That pain went from my feet clear up to my hips. I thought I would have to quit my job. I decided to try this shoe based on other people's comments and I just want to say, all that pain has totally disappeared, literally overnight!!! Also, I have had issues with the tongue of other shoes putting pressure on a vein on the top of one foot. These shoes don't have a tongue and so that isn't even an issue anymore. With my high arches, it was always a 'pain' to get any new shoes. The Lazer has a great arch. No inadequate inserts for me any more. Try this shoe!!!! You'll never go back to anything else. I did have to go half a size bigger, but Zappos was extremely accommodating and fast with the exchange.

Terrific shoe!
I love this shoe! I wore Earth shoes in college and was pleased to find them again. The fit is incredibly comfortable and the quality of the workmanship is first-rate. The shoes are easy to put on and provide the right amount of support so that they can be worn all day without resulting in tired feet. I am thinking of getting another pair!

What a great shoe!
Love, love, love them. So comfy, right out of the box. No break in period. Only complaint is that they rubbed the backs of my heels (but Band-Aids did the trick). Will definitely buy more Earth shoes.
