Overall comfort is good. I had to tighten both straps because my foot is on the narrow side. I agree with previous comments that there is not enough velcro on the straps. Also they stick out too much when tightened.
I also have flat feet and put these shoes to the ultimate test by wearing them for an on my feet all day session. Unfortunately my arches got just as sore as with any other shoe. Big disappointment.
Other than that, I still like the shoes.

Good look for Earth -
Good arch support and the cork sole is cushiony. A nice look. I love the biodegradable packaging too. Went for a long walk with hills and got blisters on the top of my feet, but comfy everywhere else.

Comfortable shoes!
I bought these shoes because I am a massage therapist and on my feet a lot. They are SO comfortable, kind of like wearing slippers. I gave them a 4 for look because the toe kind of curves inwards and makes it look like you are slightly pigeon toed.

Fabulous Shoes -
What a great shoe. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than other shoes so mine fit perfectly. You can wear these all day with no break in period. The support is very good, they are light weight and stylish.
I got the shoe in blue but I'm getting ready to order it in the brown as well.
It will be my 5th pair of Earth shoes. I'm really hooked. If you have never worn an Earth shoe they are a must have shoe.

I'll have to send these back because they were a bit too narrow. They felt uncomfortable at the instep/buckle area. Too bad they don't come in a wide width. They are well padded and comfortable otherwise and are made of high quality leather.

These shoes actually made my large foot look smaller. However, I returned them because they were just a shade too small. My large toe was almost hitting the end of the shoe and prolonged walking would not have been good. Wish Earth made a size 10.5. The width was perfect for my foot which runs a bit narrow. I think the next size up would be too big.

Liked the shoe but they had to go back. I wear a 10 in Earth sandals, but these were just a hair too small in a 10. I wish Earth carried size 10.5. Also they were fairly wide so if I went up a size they would be too wide. The shoe is great - just not for my foot.

These are the best Earth sandals yet. Not as clunky as others. I usually wear size 10.5 but my feet fit perfect in the 10 with Earth sandals. My feet are on the narrow side, but these fit perfectly so I am not sure if they would be as good for someone with wide feet. I got the gold and they are so neutral they will go with everything.

Not for people with high arches -
I have high arches and generally wear a wide shoe, but thought these might work because they looked so roomy in the front. While there is plenty of room in the front, and it seemed to have a lot of cushioning, I could barely get these shoes on past my high arch, and the arch area felt way too tight.
Also, the packaging floored me. Why a separate cloth bag for each shoe in addition to the other packaging in the box? Didn't seem very environmentally friendly to me.

I love shoes -
I love shoes and I love these Earth shoes. This is my first pair of Earth. It took me a couple of days to get used to the negative heel, but once I did they were great. My calves look better already! Zappos is great - ordered received in two days - shopping at the mall for shoes are a thing of the past.

Good conservative shoe from Earth!
The shoe has a strange fit, not like the other Earth's I own. Laces do not allow the show to tie it tight (which I have a personal preference for) but it still is a snug fit. My toes have enough room to make it a comfortable fit.

Negative heel is excellent for those with back or sciatic problems. Shoes are very comfortable when first worn - no break in period. Some styles of Earth seem a bit narrow in toe width but this one fits great.

When I first got these shoes I was a little disappointed at their boxy look. However, then I tried them on and... WOW!! You can immediately feel a stretch in your calf muscles, not to mention a difference in your stance. I gave these shoes a 5 for looks because it's so comfortable that you won't care what it looks like after trying it on! Trust me, I usually got for the beautiful but painful shoes, but for once my feet are thanking me. Buy these shoes!! You won't regret it!! Take it from a fashion victim. :-)

What an amazing shoe!! I love the idea of one shoe with the best of sneakers and sandals combined. It's cool and very comfortable but has the additional support you don't find in sandals.
I have gotten so many compliments on these shoes; everyone thinks they are really cute. I expect to see many others wearing them soon.
As a person with a mild disability, I really enjoy the comfort and mobility I get with Earth shoes. Finally, a shoe that is good for my feet, and I can actually walk in them!! I highly recommend them to everyone!

This is the 4th pair of Earth shoes I've bought in two months. I bought the first pair and loved the comfort and had to have another pair...or three. The shoes are lightweight and great for walking (would probably be great for "anything"). I have a very narrow foot and am limited to the styles that tie, but keep looking at the Zappos website to see if they've added styles I can use. I love Earth shoes and Zappos.

This is the first pair of earth's I have ever purchased. It will not be our last. My husband loves these shoes, he cannot believe the difference it makes in his knees, nor can I, he can now run around all day up and down hills and dales with no problems at all, and he has been years since he has had any relief from knee pain. He has a narrow, flat foot and the width was fine. He loves his shoes and tells everyone he knows about these shoes. I am happy and he is happy!!!!!!!!!! I might add I ordered 2 pairs because I did not know how the sizes ran and we were leaving on vacation. He did go with the larger size and I returned the smaller with Zappos wonderful CS. Customer service, they are the best around!

I bought the white and they look really nice with shorts and long jeans. I have a high instep and usually have a hard time pulling on slip-on shoes. This is not the case with these shoes.
