Legend has it that Geox founder Mario Moretti Polegato got the idea for his "breathing shoes" while jogging one hot day, when he decided to cut holes into the outsole of his shoes to cool his feet. After he shopped the concept around and received little interest, Mario formed Geox in the early 1990s on his own belief in his idea and product. So cute and preppy!
These are my first pair of Geox shoes and I'll admit, I bought them more for the look of the shoe than the advertised "superior breathability". I'm glad I did because my feet are just as warm in this shoe as any other. Also, they definitely run a half size small, but wear them with thick socks when you're breaking them in and they will stretch.

This sandal is an elegant, tasteful, classic style that I will enjoy for a very long time! The color is quite nice, and the footbed is excellent. I love this shoe!

My daughter and I disagree - My 10 year old loves them, and they do indeed fit her very narrow feet perfectly. But the straps are a startling white, emblazoned with the "Geox" name. The straps contrast markedly with the body of the shoe, and I find that unattractive.

Great, comfy shoe!
This shoe is so comfortable and cute! The cushion is so soft and thick, it feels comfortable to walk in all day long! I put them on as soon as I got them and they felt comfortable right away. I wasn't sure about the patent when I ordered it, but I got the beige and the patent isn't super shiny, so I can wear it with jeans or skirts and they look great! Plus, I love that the sole is rubber with a lot of traction, but it doesn't look clunky at all.

Great shoe. Lived up to my expectations for quality and comfort. I especially like the ventilation system in Geox shoes for summer. I feel good about my son's developing feet in these shoes. He thinks he can run faster and jump higher and climb better in them. Over all I couldn't be happier.

Trendy and comfortable -
I love this shoe. I have to wear flats most of the time and this shoe looks so sharp without being a high heel. I get a lot of compliments on it. The only thing I was a little concerned about that it stretches quite a bit. Normally Geox shoes don't do that. So I ordered it one more time half a size smaller.

I tried to buy this shoe in Lubbock, TX and online and found no place except Zappos with my size - popular shoe. Not a shoe I would do a lot of walking in, but comfortable for a shoe with this much heel.

Sweaty feet - I was very excited to receive these shoes. They are very cute and comfortable, and I can work my 12 hour shifts in them, but I was very disappointed about the sweaty feet.

A little wide but very comfortable - These are on the short side so order a half size bigger than normal size. They were a little wide but comfortable to wear right out of the box for hours. I bought in both black and tan and my college daughter liked them so much, I bought her a pair as well. The leather is soft and they are well constructed.

Horrible, sweaty, and squeaky shoe -
I was so disappointed as a few years ago, I had a pair of GEOX flat shoes that I wore out. They were so comfortable and cool. This new pair that I purchased recently are made of cheap materials and the lining on the footbed is plastic. It may have holes to "wick away moisture", but the shoe is super hot! Never again, GEOX has lost me as a customer.

Cute shoe - I made a mistake and wore these shoes to the beach the first time. I got a blister on the back of one foot and it started bleeding. It was probably the mixture of sand and wearing them for the first time. Now, I wear them a lot and they are much more comfortable.

So nice I bought them twice -
I bought this shoe in silver because I was searching for a silver sandal that would go with gray and not be too shiny and metallic. It definitely fits the bill and was the perfect sandal to wear to the Sex and the City premiere! Very comfy, stylish, and versatile. You can dress this up or down. I liked it so much that I bought it in black and wore to an outdoor party where I was on my feet for 6 hours - no pain, no aches, no issues. These are my favorite sandals. I normally wear a 7 1/2 and needed an 8. Buy a half size up.

These shoes are gorgeous and very comfortable. They are very light and easy to walk in. I had to go 1/2 size up because they fit a bit small. The only downside was that I had trouble undoing the buckle and had to slip them on already buckled.
