Look good, but not very comfortable.
I bought these because I had an older pair of Dunham oxfords that I loved for the comfort, but these are nothing like them. OK support, but no padding... feels like I'm walking on concrete. That said, they do look quite nice with an occasional polish, so I've been wearing them, just not when I have to do a lot of walking.

These shoes are great but my local store did not carry them anymore. The customer service at Zappos exceeded my expectations. They are easy to deal with and took extra steps to get my order to me faster than expected. I will be back.

Very comfy - and great Dunham quality -
This shoe fits and feels very nice, and the size and width seem right on. The materials seem fairly durable, but the leather might be a tad thinner than I expected. Not sure how the upper outer fabric will last, but it still looks like new after a month of wear. The top back edge of the left shoe caused a blister during the first day, but it went away quickly and now feels fine. I walk quite a lot, and the shoe seems very comfy even on concrete. Plus it looks great in my opinion. Zappos rocks too - great service at a fair price.

I'm a 4E, so my selections are limited. I'm a Dunham/New Balance Man! The way I shopped in the past was to look for the size at the end of the box and then open it up to see if I liked the shoe. Zappos makes it easy for me. Super web site.

Three yrs ago my husband broke the heel on his left foot & has had a terrible time finding shoes that he can wear. This shoe, he says, feels like a slipper. He has no pain wearing this shoe & they are very attractive.

Look nice but don't feel good -
I have diabetes and my feet are sensitive. These shoes hurt the ends of my toes. The end of the shoe is very hard. Unfortunately, when I first wore them around the house they felt okay. Then when I wore them outside they started to hurt. I cannot return them because when I wore them outside the soles were marked up.

COMFORT SHOES -
Great pair of shoes. Just after getting them I attended a 4-day conference. On the first day I wore sneakers and my feet ached by the end of the day. On the following days I wore the new Dunham Oakdale Slip-ons and my feet still felt fine even after 8 hours on my feet.

Great Hiking Shoe -
Just wore out my first pair, after three years of day hikes and backpacking trips. Never a blister, never sore feet. The last 80 mile trip in 6 days was their last. I will be buying a new pair.

Awesome shoe for wide feet -
This is an excellent, durable shoe. I'm still wearing the pair I bought in October 2004 but they don't look "spiffy" enough for work now so I needed a new pair. Also, can't say enough good things about Zappos. Made an exchange without question and shipped overnight! So quick & easy. Will definitely do business again, especially as they carry 6E shoes!

These are, without a doubt, the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. I've always had a problem with rubbing straps and such but these are great. Better than barefoot because they provide support. The straps are just barely long enough across the instep but they do reach and I have a very high instep. GREAT SHOE! Thanks Zappos!

More than I expected, and I expected a lot! Ordered these on a Thursday and had them on Monday. Not bad considering I had them sent regular mail. I have a high instep and a wide foot and these slipped on easily. They feel wonderful! The make up of the boot is excellent and the fit is perfect. I am also impressed with Zappos eagerness to please the customer. Zappos is 1st class and I will be happy to buy from them again.

Good, supportive sandal, great for plantar fasciitis feet.
I bought these sandals for my husband after finding them on another website, but knew they would be cheaper at Zappos. Plus, I could return them without any hassle if they didn't work. They were recommended for people with foot support problems. My husband has plantar fasciitis in one foot and can't wear regular shoes anymore. He has lived in these ones this summer. He and I would highly recommend them for anyone needing extra support.

Pretty good shoe - This shoe fits and wears well, although it feels about a half size larger. Would have rated it excellent if the insoles were a bit better – you have to wash them if you wear your shoes without socks.

Took a while to break in. I have trouble finding good shoes due to sore metatarsals and high arches. I liked the Dunham 9100 (Bradford) but that was discontinued. These are nicer but not as cushioned. Once broken in however, I really like them. I wear power step slim fit orthotics and they fit very nicely.

Very good shoes -
I needed replacement shoes for some old Rockports. I discovered Zappos, did a search, and was thrilled to see multiple options in 12N.
These shoes are good looking, light weight, and seem well made.
Comfort is good. I've had them for 3 weeks now. The tongue needs to break in yet, it rubs the top of my bare foot somewhat.

Too narrow for a wide shoe -
I tried this shoe but returned it. I tried the 8 EEEE and 8.5 EEEE widths. When I opened the boxes, the 8 EEEE shoe was so narrow I didn't even try it on. The toe box is just too narrow for a wide shoe. I could barely get my foot into the 8.5 shoe and it was too long. New Balance 8 EEEE fit me fine, so I'll have to stick with them.

Inspector in the field.
Initially, the boot felt stiff, (I guess you might say any new shoe feels this way). After wearing daily for a couple of weeks, they are as comfortable as, well... a broken-in pair of boots. If I had to do over, I would not hesitate to purchase these again.

I travel constantly and wanted to eliminate extra shoes in the baggage. I purchased this shoe with the idea that it would do double duty - be an acceptable business shoe by day and a casual shoe by night. It looks okay in a clunky sort of way, but is heavier than I would wish. I had to pad the heel to get a better fit. It will likely end up in my closet as a winter back up.

Very comfy--strap over the instep could be longer -
I read glowing reports from others. I agree with them. These are so comfortable that no one could ask for more.
A 275 pound man with a high instep is still able to secure the strap over his instep while wearing size 11, 4E width sandals, but it would be easier if the strap were a little longer. Nevertheless, it is long enough to work. I think a man my size might prefer more width--especially if he has a high instep; but 4E will do for me if they have nothing wider.

Saved the day -
I recently had foot surgery and after 6 weeks received the small medical boot to wear. It was very uncomfortable so I looked on Zappos for something similar and found these. I ordered them and of course received them the next day as I always do -thank you Zappos!! They are fantastic. The straps are just like the boot, but they are far more comfortable because of the cushioning in the sole. I ordered them a size wider and longer than normal in order to accommodate the ace bandage wrap that I still am using. I have never worn anything like these before, but they are terrific and I will continue to wear them long after the current need is over. Because of my use, I am not sure how accurate the size is, but the non injured foot fits fine with the highly adjustable straps so I would say overall the fit is probably pretty true to size.

 |  | It all started a month ago when I went to Las Vegas with my girl friends. We were shopping, gambling, and having a great time. We walked through the mall there on the way to the train. I saw the cutest shoes in the window and went in. I loved them, bought them and wished I had waited so I didn't have to carry them all day but, Oh Well. Then it was the last day and we were at the airport and my friends were going to a different terminal so we were killing time before our planes left and there at the airport in the window were the shoes I had just bought days before, on sale. Upset, I went in the store and found another pair I really liked so I bought them. I had to leave the box behind because it wouldn't fit in my carry on. Anyway, last Wednesday I wore the first pair to work. It was the first time I had worn them so I took another pair of shoes just in case I got blisters or they hurt my feet (that wasn't necessary!). So I have to tell you that I am a big woman. I had just bought a cute dress (as cute as you can get in my size) and my new black ONEX shoes. To my surprise EVERYONE told me how nice I looked. I am a secretary at an elementary school. I was getting some folders for one of our teachers and she was behind me and she said, "De, you look sexy." Well I almost fell over. No one (except my husband and he has to) has ever in my life told me that. Me...sexy? I was so shocked. I decided it had to be the shoes because they made me feel good and they were soooo comfortable and soooo cute. OK, so all day I kept telling everyone that I bought them in Las Vegas and they had to try them on because they wouldn't believe how comfortable they were. My assistant principal went home and looked them up online. So did I because I wanted to know if anyone in Albuquerque sold them. That's when I found your web site. So I looked at everything and decided to order another pair. I made a favorite list and filled out the information. I am old school and I don't order online so I wrote down the phone # and called. Still unsure about ordering I spoke to a fabulous woman, she was funny and helpful and told me about 6pm.com. I wanted to see if there was something else I might want so I told her I would call back. I didn't find anything. When I called back I got another wonderful woman but she couldn't find the # of the shoes I wanted so I went back online to get the #. Then when I called last night at 7:30ish I talked to someone else. I ordered the shoes and he told me he would send them next day air at no charge. Well you could have knocked me over with a feather (not an easy task!), so I told him if he was going to do that I would order two pair. I did. Today when I got home at 4:30 there on my doorstep were my ONYX shoes. What, are you guys trying to give a heart attack? NEVER in my 51 years on this Earth have I ever dealt with such customer service. WOW! I called a co-worker to tell her what happened and she asked if I minded if she bought a pair. She has already called by now. Anyway I have to tell you and everyone else what a fabulous company you guys run and I can't wait to have a closer look online to order more shoes. I am a shopaholic.
