Hardly wear anything else!
I bought three colors (black, dark brown, merlot) from the Palladium site... I usually wear a size 9 and had to buy 8.5. If they don't fit correctly, they will rub - so it's best to wear them inside before leaving and possibly switching them out for a half-size down. I live in DC and walk all over the place (with these shoes on) and have yet to complain about my feet hurting.

Really hurts!
These shoes tear up my ankles! I have had them for a while now and have tried to "break them in" using those blister guards on my ankles, but they just rip them right off. It's a real shame because they're so cute! They're fine with socks or tights, but then they're not as cute. Try Palladium Kassel instead - they have slight padding on the ankle - though Zappos no longer carries them...

These boots are awesome. They are amazing to look at and also very comfortable. Other reviews I have read mention that they are very tight in the calf. I was worried that they wouldn't fit me because I have pretty meaty bike riding tennis playing calves. I ordered them anyway to give them a try and they are not too tight at all! I am comfortably able to wear jeans inside them.
Very stoked on these boots!

I bought a pair as a Christmas present to myself and they've proved so invaluable I'm getting another. This is perhaps the perfect shoe for the habitually late - it goes with everything, so you don't have to waste time matching shoes with an outfit; it slips on easily, with no fiddly laces or buckles; and most importantly, it's comfy and secure on your feet as you're sprinting to your class, or train, or job interview, or whatever it is you're late for.

Great shoes -
Perfect for me – dressy, but not too dressy, can wear them with anything. Buy a half size smaller than your normal shoe. There is some getting used to the toe… not because it is uncomfortable, but because the strap around the instep is not made to clamp your foot in the shoe. Similar to most clogs, it is slightly loose. Your foot will slip around on the leather sole until it warms up - then off you go. VERY comfortable.

These shows are super cute and super comfy! I ordered the black in my true size and the gold a half size up. Both fit perfectly! I think the sizing has to do with the material of the shoe. The black is patent leather, the gold is more of a smooth leather.

The classic Palladium flat girl scores again!
This is the best...comfortable, looks good with skirts and pants for the best price ever. The fit is true to size, no arch support but a good walking look. I just added the black patent to my collection. I am often stopped en route with questions, “Where did you get that shoe?” and “What is the label?”

This shoe is adorable and comfortable, but be forewarned that it runs a FULL size smaller than marked. I normally wear a 9 and I need a 10 in this shoe, and even with a larger size my big toe touches the top-side of the shoe. The leather is very soft and stretched out nicely with my shoe stretcher. Otherwise the elastic gathers would have made the shoe feel too tight. This shoe has no arch support but I wear a half-size orthotic in it, which gives it more support.

Comfortable, red patent flattie.
Very, very comfy with absolutely no "break-in" period and the red patent leather is divine. The rounded toe is terrific which means no squashed toes. The decorative stitching in a lighter shade of red, along with the studs, add a lovely touch. These shoes look great with jeans and I've received many compliments.

Love this shoe, I receive lots of compliments and they practically go with everything! However, at times my heel slides off making me lose balance for a split second. Doesn't happen often and is probably all *my issue* and not the shoe's. Leather areas have frayed strands on all edging after about a month's wear. Not too noticeable but thought I'd point it out.

I love these shoes!
I’m reading these reviews and I want to recommend a few things. First of all, I wouldn’t recommend going a size down especially if you have high arches like mine, second of all, I would wear those neutral colored nylons (these shoes were not meant to be worn barefoot) and thirdly you may want to add Superfeet inserts in them. They are black, are half way ones and are meant to be worn in flats.

Best city shoe, with the right inserts -
This shoe has so much versatility. I have chronic pain, and this shoe has the feel of a sneaker but can be worn with jeans or a dress. The shoe runs large, but I ordered my normal size then filled up the space with comfy inserts. I put in a heel pad and new insole, which ran me an extra $15, but now I wear them nearly everyday in the country and the city. I keep them looking new with the occasional saddle soap and sometimes shoe polish. I recommend the Lakeview (with additional inserts) to anyone who does a lot of walking, or anyone who has chronic pain.

Cute Basic Flat -
Got these in the black and was worried they might look a little too "sporty"/suburban mom, but I think they're cuter than in the picture. Basic without being too boring...so exactly what I was looking for. Palladium does a good job with making their flats have a little extra padding so they're not as flat as some flats can be. I had some top of the heel rubbing as several other reviews referenced, but not enough that it was significantly painful. I do wear my shoes with those nylon liner socks, so maybe that helps? Overall, this shoe is solid...buy!

I like the shoes, but find them to be absolutely not worth the price. I've worn them for about 3 weeks and the sole is separating from the leather. If it gets worse, I won't be able to wear them at all.

Cute Flat, Runs Very Small -
These are adorable flats and I love the ankle strap. I agree with other reviewers though about them running small. I'm usually an 8 1/2 or 9, so I ordered a 10. My toes were crunched up against the toe! I almost ordered a larger size, but they just weren't nice enough for the price.

I loved this so much, the look of them; I got the brown/orange ones. They were too tight, and the toe bed smashed my toes. They were very firm too, so I was pretty sure they weren't going to loosen up. I am returning these, and would get the next size up, but it isn't available.

I swear I have bought and returned enough shoes in the last 12 months to outfit the feet of an entire village of size nine citizens. Then I found these.
The silhouette of these shoes is just what you and I want in a ballerina. I started with black leather, and have come online to buy more colors. I'm thinking of buying two pair more in black leather to stash away as a backup for when these wear out someday! Greedy!
Usually ballerinas have to fit my foot tighter than desired, because otherwise, the heel slips off. Bollocks! But no worries here with Ms. Palladium Bern - The ankle strap anchors the shoe.
Ladies take heed at the repeated feedback of the shoe running small: It's no lie. I almost always wear a nine, and after reading other reviews, I ordered a ten alongside to do a hallway catwalk comparison. The nines were definitely too little. The leather is soft, so they didn't hurt, and had these not had the ankle strap a nine might do so that the foot stays put. But, my big toe was pushed up to the top of the toe bed and my big toe nail would probably work through the leather after a while of stressing the leather upper like that. So, a size up to ten is perfect. I can wiggle me toes!
Thanks Palladium for making the perfect black flat!! I'm gonna wear these in Paris...

Wow!! Fabulous in every way...
I had been looking for a ballet flat for over a year...but because of my narrow heel, I have not had any luck as they usually slip off my feet or cause a blister rubbing against the back of my foot. This shoe has straps--not too tight...just perfect enough to keep your foot from slipping. Heavenly fit. I followed the advice here and ordered 1/2 size up. Perfect. I have the black patent leather which is adorable with skirts and jeans alike. Will order another pair!!!

I love them!
I have been wearing them a lot since I bought them two months ago. Very comfortable and break in time was like 2 days. The only thing is I got the gold ones, but in person they look more like pink gold and the color faded so fast. Overall, I love them, they are the most comfortable flats I have ever had.

Let me just start off by saying that I'm fighting some knee and tendon problems so I'm a bit biased in regards to that but nonetheless this is a pretty comfortable shoe. The left shoe (which the leg I'm having more trouble with) seems less comfy than the right in the sense that the strap did give me a slight scab. It seems to be tighter or something on that foot so I have to wear a bandage there to stop the rubbing but maybe it's my feet and not the shoes. I also thought that the material I chose was more of a velvety/matte material so I was a bit disappointed to see how shiny there were but I'm used to them now. Overall however, they're cute. I've had many compliments on them.

Terrible Shoe!!!
These are just adorable online and in the box. The first pair I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear (because of the reviews)...They were too big. I returned them for a smaller size and the length and width was correct but the cotton seam around the edge of the shoe (touching feet) was WAY too tight. Rubs my foot SO raw I can't imagine wearing them longer than 20 minutes.
Not worth the time or money.

I LOVE these shoes. Own 2 pair.
Zappos rocks. I ordered these shoes yesterday at 1pm and they arrived by noon today. The shoes I would rate as a 3.5-4 in terms of comfort. They are the most comfortable ballet flats that I have tried on (that would include 100s of pairs). They do not have a lot of support, but I don't think that is a realistic expectation of this kind of shoe anyway. I teach and am on my feet a lot and these work quite well. I don't think I would wear them to walk miles and miles in, but I don't think most people would expect that out of a ballet flat. I more often than not wear a size 8 and an 8.5 in these is perfect.
