I found this in black at a dept. store and had to buy it cause I've read good reviews here on Zappos. These are indeed very comfortable sandals. I might have to exchange them for a half size smaller though. I usually wear 7M but for some reason they feel kind of loose. I do love the design and the height of this sandal is just perfect!

I am so pleased with the fit and styling of this shoe, it has become my new favorite. But more importantly, I want to comment on the outstanding customer service I've received regarding this shoe. I had them shipped to my vacation destination (they got there several days before I did!) Zappos automatically upgraded my shipping, with no charge to me. When I got home I realized the heel tip had come off, so I called customer service after 5 p.m. PST. Not only did they happily replace the worn, defective shoe, I received the replacement pair before noon the very next day, again with no charge to me. I am so impressed with the service; I think I’ll be a customer for life.

Extremely flattering shoe!
The narrow wedge on this shoe is very elegant -- for the brown shoe the wedge is tortoise shell-like -- and the wedge also gives me plenty of height but easy and comfortable to wear all day. The arch on the top of my foot also looks curvy and sexy, if I say so myself.

I like the look of these shoes, but (as another reviewer said) the heel strap is too loose. This became apparent after about the 3rd wearing. I was at work and it became dangerous to walk in them; couldn't wait to get home and take them off. There is no adjustment buckle, so I had to take them to the shoe repair and have 1/2" removed from both shoes. Besides the strap problem, they aren't the most comfortable shoes overall.

Cute Versatile Sandal -
Got these in yellow since it's THE color of the summer! Not a bad investment - very cute and pretty comfy. I just wish there was some sort of arch support which is why I gave only 4 stars for it. But otherwise absolutely no break in time - the leather is very supple and the straps didn't cut into my wide feet. Wore them on vacation and was grateful for the rubber soles. Would definitely recommend them.

Joan and David (Liam) shoes -
These shoes were so cute!!! I was so disappointed in the fit, although they seemed narrower than medium width the heel strap was too big and not adjustable, it slipped off my heel. These shoes are well made and I loved the look of them on my feet, I just wish they would have been a better fit for me, if you have a narrow heel these are probably not the shoes for you.

Beautiful, Professional and Comfortable -
These shoes are perfect for the office and the customer meeting. They have a very nice look and make your feet look nice too. I wore them for about 12 hours and did a lot of walking to a restaurant without my feet bothering me. Don't forget to have a pedicure first because your big toe peeps out!

Zappos is great. Shipping is supper fast. Very cute shoe except it looks like I've bought another pair of expensive blister makers. The footbed is soft and heel height is comfortable. The front part just shredded my little toes and the strap kept slipping off. Either the side part isn't made high enough or I should stick to slings with buckles. Hope you have better luck.

Quietly Elegant -
This sandal is very understated. It won't get you a lot of attention but it's a classic that fits with summer fashions stylishly. Really shows off a pedicure nicely. One downer is that the black die will transfer to your foot so don't wear it if you’re expecting to take off your shoes and go for a glamorous swim.

I have the shoe in the natural and it is a bit on the yellow side, but still goes with just about everything in my wardrobe. I think it runs a bit small. I had to re-order a half size larger. The 3 inch heel isn't bad-I had to stand in them for about an hour and was OK.

Really heard the compliments when I wore these! They make your legs and ankles look terrific. My foot is a bit on the narrow side, however the medium fits like it's been custom made for me. I got them in both chocolate brown and black. At first worried about the height of the heel (at my age of 60)! However, Circa J&D shoes are a very well made brand of shoes. As a result, you can wear these heels in relative comfort without any ache or pressure on the ball of your foot. Nor do you need to add extra pads. They are surprisingly comfortable for the height. Love them!

These shoes look even better in person than online. They go with everything. I wear them to the office with skirts and slacks or on the weekend with jeans and walking shorts. They are perfect for spring and summer and I'm getting tons of use from them. The only minor complaint I have is that the ankle strap could be a bit more snug for optimum comfort. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat!

Buckle loop has "buckled"-
I ordered these sandals and a pair by Chinese Laundry and kept these as my first choice. They do run a half size small but since I wear 5.5 and it does not come in that size, the 6 was a good fit. However, the loop that holds the strap in place once it is buckled is very slender and too narrow to fit the strap without effort. By the third wearing it came off altogether and it was apparent that it is only glued in. It is now at the shoemaker being sewn in. I am hopeful that will solve the problem but I expect better from this brand.

I loved the look of the shoe especially that the heel was not too high. Wore it for a day and had blisters. Why aren't all shoes as comfortable as Hush Puppies?! I decided to keep them and use a leather stretching spray to get them to the right feel.
