Mr. Joseph Butrus founded Diba Shoes, based out of St. Louis, MO, in 1990. Distributed throughout North America, Diba is a mainstream brand of proven fashion shoes.
Diba’s strength comes from the continuous flow of hot new looks adopted from our international design teams. Diba pumps, Diba boots, Diba flats and Diba sandals fancy the feet of women wanting everyday casual styles as well as career classics.
So, what’s in a name anyway? The name Diba was formed from an acronym using the words Dutch, Italian, Brazilian, and American. Here’s what each letter means:
D: The D is for Dutch design because Bronx footwear inspires Diba shoes. Frits Dijkmans and his design team in Holland design Bronx shoes.
I: The I is for Italian development. The Dijkmans design team works in unison with the finest artisans in Italy to produce the hottest new bottoms, materials, toe character, and heel shapes in the world.
B: The B is for Brazilian manufacturing. Most of the Diba shoes are produced in Brazil using great leathers and fine factories. Our Diba Design Team often works with factories to develop new and improved ways of producing beautiful fashion footwear, thereby allowing us to offer the best quality possible.
A: The A is for American ingenuity. Diba’s World Headquarters in St. Louis is always looking for the most effective way to bring high quality, high fashion shoes to American women.

Based upon other reviews, I went a 1/2 size larger. It fits my left foot perfectly, slightly too big for my right. I bought them in black and they're extremely comfortable and very professional, yet sexy looking. Definitely will be purchasing them in the natural as well.

Comfortable, Simple, Looks great with everything! I love these sandals. I have them in gold and have been wearing them everyday. I'm going on a short trip and want to bring only one pair of shoes and these are it! All of the materials are very soft and smooth on my feet.

These indeed are very cute and comfortable, but just trying them on told me the heel strap would slip after a day - so they are going back. They also squeaked when I walked - maybe I have funky shaped feet!

The perfect summer shoe!
I love this shoe. This shoe is not only stylish but also comfortable. From the moment I tried it on; it felt wonderful on my feet. It looks great with jeans and a t-shirt not to mention a pretty summer dress. It offers a certain casual polish to any outfit. I would highly recommend the shoe to anyone looking for a fun casual summer shoe.

Nice wedge!
I am a huge fan of wedges and these are great! When I first went to slide my foot in, it felt a bit tight, but they actually fit perfectly. They are easy to walk in, comfortable, and cute. I am a true 6.5 and these fit exactly right. The heel is the perfect height and definitely not bulky. I have been looking relentlessly for a simple back wedge sandal and this fit perfectly!

Comfortable and professional looking - The shoe is great. Definitely runs a bit small. I got a 1/2 size larger as one of the other reviews indicated and they fit perfectly. The beige color did get marks on them the second time I wore them – haven't tried to spot clean yet. More comfortable than most of the shoes I have bought. Lots of compliments on them!

So cute, but runs small - Adorable and sweet, but I had to return the first one I ordered (my normal size) and get the next half size up. Also needed some shoe inserts to aid the fit and make them a little more comfortable, as there's no padding. Get lots of compliments, though.

I purchased this shoe because it is a sexy shoe. No special occasion, I was just in search of a sexy summer shoe and I found it. I got many compliments on the shoe. It's a comfortable shoe. I wear a size 8 but unfortunately I had to send back the 8 and get an 8.5. Shoe runs small.

First, let me say that Zappos is amazing. I ordered these sandals yesterday and it is the next day and I am wearing them. They are extremely comfortable to the point that I feel like I have nothing on. There is no break-in period what-so-ever. If you are contemplating purchasing these sandals, delay no more. You will not regret it.

No half sizes -
I love these shoes; I bought the green and white ones and want to get another pair. The shoes are great I only gave 4 stars for comfort because the shoes only come in whole sizes; I usually wear an 8.5, so I got the 8. They fit fine but a little snug in the toe, I had to wear them a couple times to stretch them out. Now that are stretched out a bit they are great. These are so cute; I get tons of compliments every time I wear them.

Cute but flawed -
These sandals are comfortable, but I was not totally in love with the look. I think the straps are too thick and the way they are designed doesn't keep the heel of the shoe on your foot. But, like I said, they are actually quite comfortable. I was just not completely confident in the aesthetics of the shoe.

I love these sandals so much... they are the best! They are so comfy and cute and there really is no breaking in period. I ordered them Monday night and received them Tuesday! I just love Zappos. Anyway, I opened the box and immediately put them on and I've worn them every day ever since. I'm going to buy more for sure. I am a size 8 to 8.5 and I got the 8.5... fits great. Also, I got the silver and it looks amazing.

I love, love, love the way these shoes look, but they're not the most comfortable. I'm hoping they'll stretch with time and wear because at present, they feel like they're pushing my foot out the front. I think they run on the small size, so I'd definitely go a half-size bigger.

This is a really cute shoe. The picture does not do it justice. Unfortunately, the sizing is off. I always wear a size 8 and could barely get my foot in it. I rated it a half size smaller, but it was probably even smaller. I don't feel it was a full size smaller, which is why I did not reorder. The 8 1/2 would probably have still been too small and a 9 would have been too big. Too bad because I really liked the shoe.

I bought these in the Natural color to wear to a Rehearsal Dinner. They were incredibly comfortable and got many compliments. The heel height is perfect and the peep toe is really adorable. The overnight shipping upgrade was a huge plus, and free shipping is really an added bonus, too.

Good work pumps at an excellent price -
The shoes are nice. I like the canvas for summer as it's a little more breathable, but it probably means they'll only last one season as they'll be worn more easily, especially on the heel if you drive. The buckle gives them some flair and they are comfortable. They were definitely worth the money as they were inexpensive.

For low-profile feet only.
My foot is reasonably normal and I couldn't slide my foot all the way in to place because the straps didn't provide enough height. Additionally, the footbed was cut for a narrower toe box so even if I could have put my foot in the right place, I would have had a bit of overhang on the sides. I had to return the sandal.

I bought the pink pair and they're adorable. But the heel is just high enough; I can't wear them to work because I run around too much. :( Great for a date though. :)
