So, what’s in a name anyway? The name Diba was formed from an acronym using the words Dutch, Italian, Brazilian, and American. Here’s what each letter means:
D: The D is for Dutch design because Bronx footwear inspires Diba shoes. Frits Dijkmans and his design team in Holland design Bronx shoes.
I: The I is for Italian development. The Dijkmans design team works in unison with the finest artisans in Italy to produce the hottest new bottoms, materials, toe character, and heel shapes in the world.
B: The B is for Brazilian manufacturing. Most of the Diba shoes are produced in Brazil using great leathers and fine factories. Our Diba Design Team often works with factories to develop new and improved ways of producing beautiful fashion footwear, thereby allowing us to offer the best quality possible.
A: The A is for American ingenuity. Diba’s World Headquarters in St. Louis is always looking for the most effective way to bring high quality, high fashion shoes to American women.

Love these sandals because they are so simple and cool. The purple is fantastic. The leather sole was very slippery, so I added inexpensive rubber pads, which fixed the problem. Unlike other dyed leathers, these have not faded onto my feet. They run small; usually I wear a 6 1/2 but these are 7 1/2.

I wore these shoes (in gold) on my honeymoon with my swimsuit and a long roman cover up. It was to die for, I got so many compliments, and they were actually comfortable. I only had them on for about four hours though, so that could have made a difference. I wouldn't recommend these for an all day affair. These are definitely shoes to be admired!!!

I bought this sandal because of the color and it turned out not to be so clean and bright. It was a rugged type. I bought one size up just be sure, and it fit like a glove and was very comfortable to wear all day. Not worth the price though.

I bought these heels for Spring and was actually looking for a nude-colored shoe, but ended up with these ones in off-white. My only complaint is that the toe-box is a bit small and pinches slightly (and I have an average to slightly narrow foot). After wearing them a few times, they seem to be working in well, fitting better without looking worn. Maybe the solution would be to go up a half-size from the get-go. Overall, beautiful leather and a perfectly sized small heel. They’re dainty looking while still being comfortable enough to wear all day. Now I’d kind of like the red or some other kicky color!

These are very cute sandals, and worked nicely as a dress shoe for a heel-challenged person. I have wide feet, and they were just a smidgen narrow-not enough to return. I'm glad I kept them.

Diba "Sakura" sandals are a must have! Exceptionally attractive, and the most comfortable sandal that I have worn in years. Buttery feeling to the straps, and a formation to the sole piece that makes this a comfortable sandal to wear all day! I love these sandals!

Fun boots, but not great for people with foot issues -
I had been looking for a brown, dressy, but comfortable boot for awhile. I thought I found it in these Diba boots. I love the look of them - love that the flap can be worn slouched down or up. The heel isn't too high either. However - after bunion surgery I have to be choosy about the width of my shoes now. Because of this, I'm considering sending them back since the toe box isn't quite as wide as I'd like. However, for someone with a medium wide foot, this boot could be perfect for them.

Comfortable and cute sandal that is solid, traction-providing, and has a quiet sole. Fits well on my foot and doesn't slide or slap around. Not real leather, sadly, but looks good and buckle works well. Pewter color is not too metallic-y looking.

Really great shoes! I can't believe how tall they actually are because they really only feel about an inch tall and are very comfortable. I always get compliments when I wear them. The only downfall I have with this shoe is that the sticker/linen thing where your foot rests is made very poorly and began to unstick after the first time wearing them. Overall, I am really happy and pleased with this shoe.

I love the style of these sandals and they're amazingly (and surprisingly) comfortable. I’m giving them a low rating "overall" though due to poor construction: the stitching on one of the straps began to unravel, after I wore them for the first time (for only a brief time). I don't think a good sandal should have such a problem after only one wearing.

I bought this shoe in black, size 8. It's always a bit tricky for me to decide what size to order because I run between an 8 and 8.5, but am a solid euro 39. I went with the 8, and it's perfect! I've been hunting for a nice black sandal that goes with multiple styles, that is also comfy, and this shoe definitely seems to fit the bill! The only worry I had with this style was the heel strap falling or slipping off as has happened with other similar shoe styles I've purchased in the past, but these don't do that at all! Wonderful shoe (aside from some very minor squeaking), and I highly recommend it! I might just have to get it in some other colors! :)

These are super cute sandals and are surprisingly comfy. I walked over a mile the first time I wore them without even a hint of a blister. This is unheard of. Would highly recommend!

I think these are great... I purchased them in the gold and they look exactly as they do in the photo. These are great if you want something a little dressier to wear in the summer, but still want flats. Another customer rated them as being uncomfortable, but I find them to be comfortable. I haven't walked miles in them or anything, but I think they're great. The flowers appear to be painted leather and are really pretty. They did run a little small in my opinion... I bought a 9.5 since that is usually my size in sandals, but I am going to have to order a 10.

The toe post on this thong is just one twisted bit of faux leather (it doesn't lie flat), so it cuts into the area between toes. Another Diba flat that I tried out was made the same way. It's also huge overall, and the leather is cheap looking. Seemed to have a nice firm and thick footbed, but no arch support.

These shoes are really pretty -- the metallic color is very soft. Also, I usually need a lot of padding in the footbed -- these don't have any, but I guess because they are leather EVERYWHERE, they feel great! The only complaint I have is that one shoe seemed to be cut bigger/looser than the other. It's do-able though!
