Mr. Joseph Butrus founded Diba Shoes, based out of St. Louis, MO, in 1990. Distributed throughout North America, Diba is a mainstream brand of proven fashion shoes.

So, what’s in a name anyway? The name Diba was formed from an acronym using the words Dutch, Italian, Brazilian, and American. Here’s what each letter means:
D: The D is for Dutch design because Bronx footwear inspires Diba shoes. Frits Dijkmans and his design team in Holland design Bronx shoes.
I: The I is for Italian development. The Dijkmans design team works in unison with the finest artisans in Italy to produce the hottest new bottoms, materials, toe character, and heel shapes in the world.
B: The B is for Brazilian manufacturing. Most of the Diba shoes are produced in Brazil using great leathers and fine factories. Our Diba Design Team often works with factories to develop new and improved ways of producing beautiful fashion footwear, thereby allowing us to offer the best quality possible.
A: The A is for American ingenuity. Diba’s World Headquarters in St. Louis is always looking for the most effective way to bring high quality, high fashion shoes to American women.

These were fairly cute in person. Felt a half size smaller & since I'd already bought & loved the three other pairs of wedges I bought along these, I had to send them back. I didn't think I'd love three out of four, so I spent more than I intended when I decided to keep the other three. I will say that of all the shoes I bought (these being the least expensive by $100) I didn't think these were up to par with the others, considering quality & looks. They just couldn't compete. Thanks, anyway. Too bad...'cause I love a great deal.

Beautiful and functional!
I wanted a bronze gladiator sandal for this summer and out of the three pairs I tried from Zappos, I'm keeping this one (the others were the Sam Edelman Gilda and the Reef Gladi). This pair is more comfortable since it has a padded top-sole and fewer constricting straps than most gladiator sandals. The different design also makes this a more unique shoe among the sea of Roman-style sandals on the streets. I got it in bronze and it will be perfect for wandering down even the trendiest Boston streets. I also have somewhat of a wide foot and these fit great!

Really cute & sexy but definitely order one size larger!
Mine just arrived and they are even better in person - I got them in Brown. I usually wear size 8 but ordered 8.5 and they barely fit. If I were patient I would exchange them for size 9 but I don’t think I can wait any longer to wear them! They make my feet look a little big but I think I will keep them anyways.

I ordered them yesterday at 4pm. They're here at 10am! I ordered them 1/2 size larger (I wear a 7 and ordered a 7 1/2) after reading the review, luckily, and they're perfect. The bronze is gorgeous, and the ankle strap goes mercifully small (I have very skinny ankles). An excellent shoe at a great price!

I usually have a hard time finding flats that I feel move with you, but these are a great fit and look cute. They are dressy enough to wear to work, but a good change from the typical work shoe. True to size!

Super comfortable, even though they have minimal support. The leather footbed is really luxurious and they look very nice, not sloppy. I wear the gold ones with a cute skirt and look snappy.

Great shoe, it is attractive and versatile. Make sure to get 1/2 size larger than your regular size. I normally wear a 9, but after reading the reviews, ordered a 9.5 and it fits perfectly. Did not have to 'break-in'. I ordered the natural, but now I am thinking about getting it in black and orange too. Free upgraded shipping was awesome! Zappos has a buyer for life now!

Based upon other reviews, I went a 1/2 size larger. It fits my left foot perfectly, slightly too big for my right. I bought them in black and they're extremely comfortable and very professional, yet sexy looking. Definitely will be purchasing them in the natural as well.

These indeed are very cute and comfortable, but just trying them on told me the heel strap would slip after a day - so they are going back. They also squeaked when I walked - maybe I have funky shaped feet!

The perfect summer shoe!
I love this shoe. This shoe is not only stylish but also comfortable. From the moment I tried it on; it felt wonderful on my feet. Nice wedge!
I am a huge fan of wedges and these are great! When I first went to slide my foot in, it felt a bit tight, but they actually fit perfectly. They are easy to walk in, comfortable, and cute. I am a true 6.5 and these fit exactly right. The heel is the perfect height and definitely not bulky. I have been looking relentlessly for a simple back wedge sandal and this fit perfectly!

Comfortable and professional looking - The shoe is great. Definitely runs a bit small. I got a 1/2 size larger as one of the other reviews indicated and they fit perfectly. The beige color did get marks on them the second time I wore them – haven't tried to spot clean yet. More comfortable than most of the shoes I have bought. Lots of compliments on them!

So cute, but runs small - Adorable and sweet, but I had to return the first one I ordered (my normal size) and get the next half size up. Also needed some shoe inserts to aid the fit and make them a little more comfortable, as there's no padding. Get lots of compliments, though.
