Love these shoes -
At first I had trouble with the straps digging into the top of my right foot. But after I wore them a couple of days, they are perfect. The soft cushion along the foot bed that SoftWalk is known for feels like you are walking on a bed of cotton balls and these don't seem to make a "swish" sound as you walk like some of their shoes do. I would definitely recommend them!

Just ok...
I'm a P.T. and for someone who is literally on my feet all day, the comfort isn't much to write home about, but I can see how in general these would be very nice/comfortable shoes for average everyday wear.

Love SoftWalk's Sunset!
I have two pairs ... brown and black. Fit is true to size (length and narrow width), extremely comfortable sandal/walking shoe. Great for travel! Although I wish the insole matched the color of the leather upper, the light neutral is not objectionable.

Super comfortable shoe w/ cushioned sole and as a bonus - they look great, too! Wedge heel is just right w/ longer jeans. Adjustable strap accommodates my narrow feet and allows adjustment for my bunion. Excellent!

I ordered the SoftWalk Sunset in black. The pinkish (almost white) color of the footbed really spoils the looks of this black shoe. Whatever were the designers thinking to put this color on the footbed of an otherwise all-BLACK shoe? This conflicting color really detracts from the shoe. However, this is not my only criticism. There is no Velcro-like closure on the toe strap of the shoe. Even though a couple of reviews warm one about this, it looks as if there is an open/close strap there. Even when I called for customer service about another matter, the very nice lady said there was a closure there as pictured. I told her about the reviews and she said then there must not be one. For my right foot, this did not matter. However, the toe strap pinched my left foot and there was nothing to loosen. For these two reasons--the color of the footbed and the tight strap on the left shoe--I am returning this pair of shoes. I might also add that they look like clodhoppers on--no style whatsoever. This is a case of the photo looking far better than the actual product. I still love Zappos and will continue to order from this marvelous, service-oriented store. Their return policy permits me to return this at no cost. Most of my Zappos shoes have been real winners.

The shoes are very comfortable and have been a comfort after recently having knee surgery. Unfortunately, I am a heavy walker and every time I make a step you hear the air being released from the shoe.

Love these sooo much but...
Though the fit is awesome, the foot cushion makes wooshing noises when I walk. I'm not sending them back because they look so darn cute on my big size 11 feet...I'm just hoping the sound will go away as I continue to wear them.

Great shoe for standing all day!
I am a cosmetology student and was desperate to find something comfortable! I have to wear all black at school and wanted a super comfortable shoe that was just classic and simple. I'd looked into getting another brand, but really couldn't spend over 100 bucks for a pair of shoes. These are great. No breaking in needed, super soft and comfy, great to walk in and stand behind the chair in!

It's such a trill to find shoes that fit a skinny foot. I have only worn them around the house to make sure they will remain comfortable.

NOW THAT IT'S WARM WEATHER AGAIN!
These shoes are more often on my feet than any other sandal I own. They're comfortable, look good, and I just know I will get a lot of wear from them. Also, they felt true to size only as a sandal. The same size in an enclosed shoe would have been too short.

Very cute, well-made sandal. They are noisy on hard floors - whooshy sounding! Seems to lessen as I wear them, maybe just getting used to it. Otherwise, I was thrilled as shoes in my size (11 Narrow) are either non-existent or ugly. I will buy more SoftWalk!

Comfortable casual sandal -
The footbed of these sandals is so comfortable for walking and standing. My only complaint is that on one of the shoes there is a hard spot in the leather that rubs on the top of my foot. I haven't been able to figure out how to fix that yet.

Excellent fit for sz 10 EE. My Barbados are very comfortable. They look feminine on. Not clunky @ all. I will not accept a pr of shoes that fit from out of the box. I've always had a good result w/SOFTWALKS!

Barbados are the Bomb -
I love the look and feel of these shoes. SoftWalk are the only shoes I buy anymore other than sneakers. The only issue is one another customer mentioned previously: one of these shoes seems to emit air as I walk, making an audible flatulent noise. As long as I'm not in a silent room, there's no problem, but in church or a quiet classroom, it sounds like I should have added Beano to last night's meal. Otherwise, I love them!
